Location and design mixed with character. Lobby staff extremly helpful. Bar staff in roof area. Took far too long to get served and constantly ignored. This applied to all patrons not just us. |

The spa was lovely, the location was great too. The hotel is very elegant and is quite lovely. I booked a twin room 7 months ago and there wasn't one available once we got there. |

Silence, quality of the staff, quality of food at Restaurant. Nice welness center All which is linked with lights and AC is not simple to use for guests. Rooms wth view on cortyard are dark and lights and mirror in bathroom are not efficient. Quality and sevice of Tea does not match with % even 4 stars. Blackout in the bedroom is not enough efficient. |

Staff was superb, no questions. However the noixe level from the city kept us up at night, not recommendable. Hotel interior decoration was a bit to dark for my taste. lights in bathroom did not allow me to put on make-up. Breakfast buffett, while plentiful was set up in the smoking room. I did not see anyone smoking, nevertheless our table had a dirty ashtray on it. Also buffett was not streamlined and we had to wait twice for coffee. |

Good bathroom facilities. Wooden floors throughout room and hallway make for a very noisy experience. Lighting fixtures defective in rooms and unnecessarily complex to operate. Exorbitant beverages prices. Staff offered us limited menus only with inferior quality wine and drinks. Only after questioning further did they offer a better quality selection. No body was at the door to greet us or assist with our luggage. 4 stars |

how helpful the staff were and the swimming pool if we needed to get up during the night were not able to work out how to operate lights by the bed, so had to use a small torch to see. |

The room was very well serviced - clean towels and sheets every day. Complementary toiletries,water and chocolates on daily. Would like tea and coffee facilities in room.Staff were polite but not particularly friendly. |

Magnificent interior design to guest rooms, public areas and fitness centre. Fitness centre facilities excellent. Roof terrace bar with views over main town square, and separate roof terrace restaurant were both excellent features with very high quality products and service. Our room was noisy at night due to air conditioning plant being located directly above. |

location, layout a really lovely hotel, pool, great food. We had a great weekend and really enjoyed ourselves however for the money and star rating of 5 I would expect a little better service but still had wonderful time Upon arriving at the restaurent staff noticed us then didn't approach us we had to approach them and ask if it was ok to dine. We had booked a double room but were given a twin room. On check in we were given the wrong room number so went to the wrong room and couldn't get in. We weren't offered help with our luggage on arrival I would have expected more from a five star or at least an apology |

the design of the building, use of brick, stone etc to retain the 'old' feel of the place whilst having all modern comforts, roof top bar, swimming pool, size of rooms |
