Hotel Topaz  

Car park was very good, easy to drive in and out. Room was big and internet fast.

Parking places are very small for modern cars. Should be widen 30-40cm per space.

The location suited us as it was an uncomplicated 10 minute walk from the main train station, and as we arrived in the mid-afternoon we wanted to drop bags as quickly as possible and head into town by foot. As we knew no Polish it was a relief to find that those at the reception spoke excellent English and were very helpful, especially in ordering a taxi for us. The midday check-out time was great so we could have another couple of hours in the morning sans baggage. There is wifi available, it would be more convenient to have the password in the pamphlet in the room though you can ask at reception. The breakfast buffet was an easy-going affair with lots of cheese, ham, eggs and bacon (and more) to choose from.

Right outside our room was a pool table which someone was playing on whilst we were trying to sleep, so it was a little noisy, luckily we were so tired we fell asleep anyway. We couldn't find a hair dryer, which would have been a pain if the weather had been cold.

Good breakfast. Good sized-room, and hotel location is good for city centre access.

Rooms are on the ground, our room was situated @smoking area so there was strong smell of smoke on corridor, extremaly thin walls, got the unpleasant wake up in the middle of night and could't sleep until early morning cause of v.rude hotel guests we could hear all talks, swearings etc. , bathroom's use and ventilation working - 2 hours conserning room price we don't recommend this Hotel

Very quiet, receptionist helpful, free internet access, close to Poznan main railway station (10-15 mins walk). Hotel is more like a business centre with most (all?) rooms on ground floor.

No restaurant, though receptionist directed me to a very pleasant (and reasonably priced) Italian restaurant just a couple of minutes walk away.

Friendliness and helpfulness of staff ; the quiet of the hotel with monitoring device and friendly guard. In a manageable walking distance to the old town centre.

Although not too far away from the old town, there is nothing attractive around the place where the hotel is located. You've got to go to town to see something pleasant. But this didn't matter for me personally.---

W zasadzie wszystko, świetny pokój, lokalizacja (blisko dworca pkp), a przede wszystkim cisza I spokój czyli to czego oczekiwaliśmy. Naprawdę polecamy.

Może to, że recepcja jest za mało wyeksponowana.

Pokoje dosyć duże, sympatyczna obsługa.

Nie podobała mi sie konieczność wypełniania kart meldunkowych przez wszystkie osoby nocujące w hotelu.

Miła obsługa, bardzo dobre śniadania, lokalizacja.

Brak czynnej restauracji przez cały pobyt (4 dni), ciasnota w apartamencie.
