Hotel Kossak  

For our needs the Hotel Kossack was in a lovely location overlooking the Wawel Castle & River, 10mins walk to the square. The breakfast was plentiful & staff friendly & attentive. The reception staff were polite & very friendly, very eager to help with any questions put forward to them, they gave us a krakow guide & map and pointed out places of interest. The rooms were modern, well furnished & very clean, could not fault it. In all a very, very nice hotel. Would definitely recommend & would not hesitate to go back there again.

Excellent is every respect. A 10-15 minute walk to the center of the old city more than compensated for by the to-die-for view of Wawel Castle, particularly from the hotel's outstanding roof-top restaurant.

The location was excellent and the suite was spacious.

I thought the hotel was over rated - it is not a luxery hotel. Poorly decorated - plastic chairs in thesuite... Three stars would be more appropriate. I selected the hotel in part because of it's spa/fitness inclusion. Turns out the "fitness area" was a very small room, poorly equiped and required a reservation - only one person at a time was allowed to use it. I was also disappointed to be charged extra for coffee at the breakfast buffet......

The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful, the view from the room was fantastic, the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept on, and the entire experience was memorable.

All staff were very helpful when booking trips in and out of the city. Also the views from the restaurant were great.

We really enjoyed our stay at hotel Kossak. The beds were comfy, the room well laid out. The shower was lovely, even if the bath is a bit high for getting in and out of. The breakfast select was excellent and very tasty. The location for the Castle and Old Town is great. We had dinner in the 7th floor restaurant and the food was excellent and worth a visit for the view alone. Tea and coffee facilities in the room and the toiletries were nice touches, along with the Irish Breakfast Tea in the tea selection at breakfast. Would definately recommend this hotel and will visit again if I get a chance to go back to Krakow.

Fantastic experience all round, great staff, rooms and food, all at a very reasonable price. I'll be back...

Great Hotel,great location,5 mins old town,5 mins castle,river/castle views.A Great stay ,would stay again when in Krakow

From the moment we arrived everyone was very polite and friendly the room was lovely the restaurant served fabulous food and the waiters/waitresses very helpful there was a lovely view over the river looking up to castle wawel just a pity it wasn't warm enough to sit on terrace loved it all would definately recommend staying there absolutely spotless clean with a 10/15 minute stroll up to the square so handy for picking up coach for day trips intact we could see if the coach arrived from our room then just crossed the road to pick it up brilliant thanks everyone for making our stay fantastic

Friendly staff, excellent location, clean rooms, very good food in 6 th floor restaurant and breakfast.

Could have done with more milk, tea and coffee sachets in room otherwise excellent

We were only able to stay at the Hotel for two nights but I wish it could have been longer. The Hotel is very modern with very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are excellent, clean and have very comfortable beds. The bathroom was also high quality with a full size bath and great shower. The rooftop restaurant serves great meals which don't break the bank and the breakfasts are brilliant. We were given maps and tourist information on checking in and the hotel booked our trip to Auschwitz (everybody who visits Krakow should go there). The hotel is only 10 minutes walk from the old city centre and all it's attractions. Highly recommended. Thanks very much.
