The staff was friendly and helpful. There is no Internet in the rooms, the only way to access the net is to go down with your laptop to the restaurant on the bottom floor. Which is ridiculous for a hotell like this. |

The staff was excellent, the restaurant was superb as well as the breakfast buffet selection. The room was spacious, clean, and very well appointed and comfortable - the location lent itself to easy access to old town with the frequent boat shuttle between 10:00 until 16:00. Staff had whatever, I needed - an umbrella for rainy day trip to Malbork, laptop to check email, info on sites, train station directions etc... The thick walls of the historic granary building made internet wireless connection difficult but the staff was especially accomodating in providing lender laptop and I was able to use it in the lobby area where the reception was best. Outside of the boat shuttle hours, while it is only a 10-15 minute walk to get to old town around the marina, once off the hotel property the next 50 meters there is no 'sidewalk' so those intending to walk around the full distance should be careful of the auto traffic as you have to walk in the street briefly. This is not something that is the hotel's fault, but it was an annoying streetscape design issue that the city or neighboring property owners may want to fix if at all possible. |

Hotel Królewski has one of the best locations, I ever experienced for a hotel, placed, as it is in an old granary directly to the central harbour area of Gdansk and all the atmossphere, following from this, but gaining the advantage of beeing on the other side, therefore accesible by car. Add to this spacius rooms (ask for one with a view to the habourside!), excellent service and very, very good restaurant! |

Perfect setting on the bank of the Motlawa river in the hotel inside a XV Century Grannary ! Nice 2 -room suite with fantastic views of passing passenger boats and yachts. Great way to get to the hotel on a small ferry going across the river. Good quality buffet breakfast, |

Food, help with tourist planning, booking & follow up of taxi, internet access Smoking is allowed in outdoor areas that are also for drinking / eating - Poland must change this - Polish smokers don't care about the incovenience they cause so hotels & legislators will need to manage this issue. Hotel is also a bit further around the river, but has good views of the city |

The view was the best in Gdansk, almost opposite the big crane and overlooking the harbour. It couldn't be more central to visit the old town and the Polish Philharmonic is next door so we could hear them practising. |

Comfortable room with wonderful view across the Motlawa to the Main Town. A sense of history combined with modern comfort. Room furnishings elegant and of a high standard. |

The most attractive aspect is its position in the old port and within easy reach of the old city.I did not answer the previous question because the hotel does not fit into any of those categories. You a category of "Historic Interest" I found the lighting in the room not good enough to read by.when in bed. |

The hotel was in a very good location on an island about a 10 minute walk from the old town. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. We had a corner room and had a great view of the city and the river. I would highly recommend staying here. |

My sister and I took our 81yr old mother to Gdansk and stayed in the Krolewski. It was ideally situated, being only a 10 min walk into the Old Town. Our room had wonderful views of the river and Old Town while mother's overlooked the front of the hotel. We had requested quiet rooms and we certainly could not complain. The only criticism I would make was the fruit juice at breakfast was diluted juice and not pure fruit juice. |

Very clean, nice bathroom. Fantistic big buffet breakfast with lots of choice - I'd be surprised if anyone was not satisfied with this. Lovely views from the restaurant towards the city. Bar closed at 10pm and this was not detailed in the room . It closed along with the restaurant. Only one very thin pillow given, could have done with another. A courtesy bus to the city centre may be a good idea as the walk (when dark) is a little offputting as the hotel is on an island across from the city but you have a 20 min walk to get to it. Tea/Coffee in the room would be good. |
