It only takes 15min walking to get to the Main Square from the boat, which is located on the 'beach front' of Krakovie, with very cool bars on the nearby shores. Superb view and cheap beers at the bar on the roof. Rooms super clean and quiet. What else?!
Go home for a boat is very romantic and this ship's location is perfect!
The beds were so short that we have to put matrasses on the floar. Wifi did work only at the end of the ship and the breakfast was so boring.
It was a cosy stay!
The Wi-Fi quality should be improved.
staff are friendly and helpful. rooms are an ok size and good space for luggage. it's location close to town.
nothing all good, thanks
The room is clean and comfort. It is a good and new experience to pass the night in a hotel on the river, rather than a normal one. We enjoyed passing the night on the boat's roof having a drink and watching the world Cup final. The staff were so friendly.
The Wi-fi connection was poor, however, we was not in need to use it during our stay. The hotel location is in a walkable distance from Wawel Castle and the old town, however if it is your first time to visit, do not try to discover its location by yourself, as it is not easy to find. It is better to ask in the tourists information office located near Wawel Castle about the hotel exact location, they will help you to find it easily.
No AC in the room and it was a hot day in July so I slept with underwears only.
Great location close to downtown. Pleasant and helpful staff 24h. Cosy pub on the upper deck. Very affordable.
The room was very warm,-poor ventilation. Long way to walk from the parking.
- friendly staff - quiet location - beautiful view over the river and castle
- beds are not for tall people
Fantastic Old Town view! Close to to Vavel, great relaxing atmosphere.
Very small cabins (rooms)
location, price, staff, breakfast
wi-fi only in dinning room
The location and atmosphere here is amazing. Sitting up top with a perfect view of Wawel castle. Who could ask for more!
Great localization and price. Helpful and nice staff. Beautiful view of the city and the castle. I highly recommend.
Great location, great value for money
Poor Internet (quality and signal strength), poor GSM signal, too small handbasin - really hard to eg. wash your teeth :/
First of all - it's VERY unusual. If you're tired of living in four walls of hotel room no matter how luxury it is - Marta is your choise! It's really like a ship thought it don't move. Any moment you can come to the open upper deck and relax on open air. And here we go to another advantage - the location. The view is astonishing! The River Visla, The Grunwaldian Bridge, Catholic Church, and of course The Wawel Castle, the heart of Krakow. All the day boats are passing by, you feel light smell of river - all this it quite atmospheric. And it's okay to be amazed every sunny morning, but at night when everything is brightly highlited every minute's just not enough. More practical notes: it's cleat, quiet, breakfast is really good and substantial. Personnell is generally affable but most respects come to some white-haired lad, that's bad we didn't ask he's name. He was extremely helpful and friendly.
There was a few insignificant moments like small bathroom of lack of information sometimes. I've found out there a common fridge on a third day of being there - the not saying that was in Polish but not English. And it could be very hot in summer, we've been there in early May and it was pretty stuffy after a sunny day.
Boat on the river says it all! Lovely staff, they could not be any more helpful. Bar and tables/chairs on the roof of the boat! Will definitely stay here when I visit Krakow again. Very cheap and just a short walk to Wawel Castle and the square.
Wifi did not work in rooms but worked everywhere else so wasn't too bad. If you don't mind bunk beds then go for it!
Very unique stay, In my opinion it has potential as hotel not hostel type.
loved the idea of the hotel on the boat.. close to the Wawel. Staff amazing girl at reception was excellent ( dont know the name unfortunately). She was funny and helpful. Overall great experience.
Maybe to improve wifi and path to the hotel a little rough.
Sleeping on a boat. Great location. Very friendly helpful staff. Very good value for a solo budget traveler. Very unique accommodation.
No WiFi signal in my room. Tall people might have a problems with the bess
The hotel is nice and clean. Very different to any other I've stayed so far. The staff was very polite and friendly. A place I'll stay on my next visit.
Clean, close to center, fair price
Excellent location: quiet place, on the river, just a few minutes from old town. Artificial sandy beach and some kind of late evening party zone is nearby. Rooms are small but really clean. Large guarded underground parking is available about 350-400 meters from hotel, it is 25 pln per day for hotels clients (ordinary price 50 pln). The hotel is on the embankment, which is only for pedestrians or bicycles. Room price is really good and adequate, because hotel have some limitations.
Rooms are small and extremely hot in the summer. We arrived at late night and the room was like the oven. The biggest problem was that it was impossible to open the window more than a few centimeters and nobody from the staff help us. Air conditioner was only at the restaurant. Beds are short (it seems not more 180 cm). Towels are not included into room's price. Remember the hotel is on the water, if the day is windy you can feel the waves. Avoid to staying here if you have seasickness. Breakfast are not included into room's price, it is not expensive and quite good. But breakfast was not ready at 8 am and we must ask for hot water, for spoons, for a bit more sugar, for milk etc. The morning staff was very polite and friendly, but breakfast lasts so long.
When the temperature is over 30C, then the sleeping becomes totally unrealistic. Avoid this place in case of very high temperatures...
The staff was very friendly and helpful. It's close to the city centre and to the Wawel castle (app.10-15 mins) There is a sand city beach nearby and you can take long walks along the river - very romantic and relaxing.
The beds are not for tall people (I'm not tall so I did not mind)...
