OK Staff - friendly - helpful WiFi working fine Breakfast (included) very good Sleeping - very good - no noise at all Coffee included - get it all day Separate fridge to use for guests Location - walking distance to center Swans & ducks on the river A bit panoramic view
Floor in the bathroom became very wet even when we did not use the room.
The location is fantastic and staying on a boat is a charming, romantic experience.
The wifi was spotty and the bathroom floor was never dry. Even hours after a shower the bathroom floor would always be wet. There is no ventilation in the bathrooms. It would have been nice if someone had come in to take out the trash once in a while. It starts to pile up.
location and comfort, special and charming
the floor in the room and bathroom was cold as ice and always covered with condensation, due to the very poor insulation.
Location, views, waking up and looking out at the river,
Unfriendly staff, cold when heating went off twice. Lack of breakfast food.
The location is perfect, nice view.
Upon arrival the POS terminal denied the payment transaction, though they have the card type on the website. We were not given our room keys until we did not pay by another card. According to the receptionist it was their bank's fault, but anyway, waiting with small children at the reception desk after a 6-hour journey was a bad start.
Everything was great! We loved the location, nice view, rich breakfast. Even though we slept 4 persons in 1 room, it was comfortable. The staff was helpfull.
Nice and comfortable hostel, with very good position close to city center with cheap price.
No parking lot, had to park in free parking lot of the housing area (aprox. 1km walk). Breakfast could be richer
close to city centre, clean room, good breakfast, special accomondation
had two good nights in the hostel with a nice price, the staff there were very friendly and helpful!
the wi-fi only workable in the public area.
WiFi not working in the rooms, double storey beds
Perfectly located in the heart of Krakow. Quite easy to find - it is situated near the big hot-air baloon that can be easily seen from virtually any point in the city center. Nicely equipped room with a small table, clean bathroom. The bed size is 80x190 cm which is only 10 cm smaller than regular single bed - should be ok for most people. Simple but nice continantal breakfast included cereals, cheese, ham, tomatos, cucumbers, toasts and jam. Free tea and coffee available at any time of the day.
The views The room, it was clean and comfortable with an ensuite bathroom. I was afraid of feeling the boat moving, but nothing at all, I slept well as if it were a normal hostel. Linen and towels included, no complaint at all. Though we were two people, we slept in a quad room. Breakfast was plenty and tasty (no juice, though).
It was difficult to find it and there are stairs from the bridge that connects it with the city centre (not the best option if you go there with heavy luggage). It was within a walking distance to the centre, but not too close. It was better connected to the Jewish neighbourhood.
Location Experience Staff Breakfast Clean place
The bed was a little short for me, but I could sleep anyway
My husband and I and our 4 year old son and 2 year old daughter stayed her one night. My son loved the bunk beds and the fact that we were on the water. My husband and I thought it was a great value and the location was great! We'd definitely stay here again. The wi fi didn't extend to our room, but that was our only complaint. Thanks for a pleasant stay! Our son can't wait to come to Krakow again.
WiFi didn't extend to our room.
It's a hostel, but it's very comfortable, has a suggestive position and the staff is very kind.
I loved my trip to Krakow and had a comfortable, pleasant stay at the hostel Martha. It was truly a home away from home. Let me give a break up of my review score here 1) Staff was great and helpful. I would specially like to mention Andre, who helped me plan my trip around Krakow. 2) Facilities are basic, but you get what you pay for. It is well and truly a budget hotel and it is foolish to expect too much from a budget place. 3) Beds are clean and comfortable even though a bit on the shorter side. Toilets are spotless and well maintained. Many people complain about the room being too hot in summer but it was nice and cozy for my visit in September. 4) For 15€ a night, this place is awesome!! Add free breakfast buffet to that and it is real value for money. Breakfast is typical European breakfast with ham, cheese, marmalade, butter, bread, cereal and hot beverages. This place easily qualifies as a hotel and not a hostel. 5) Location is a 10 minute tram ride from the main bus/train station in krakow. To reach the hostel, take tram line 52 from the stop outside the bus terminus in the direction "CZERWONE MAKI" and get down at "Centrum Kongresowe". Tram line runs every 10-15 mins on weekdays and every 20 mins on Saturdays. The location presents wonderful photo opportunities of the Wavel royal castle at night and is accessible to the old town by foot. Overall, my stay was pleasurable and highly recommend it for solo backpackers and budget travelers.
WiFi only accessible in reception and dining hall. It did not make a big difference in my case because I spent most of the time outside sightseeing. Bed a little bit on the shorter side. If you are bigger than 180 cm, you'll have problem stretching yourself. There were cobwebs on the ceiling which needs to be cleaned. Shower head in room 8 seems to be clogged which results in reduced water flow.
It only takes 15min walking to get to the Main Square from the boat, which is located on the 'beach front' of Krakovie, with very cool bars on the nearby shores. Superb view and cheap beers at the bar on the roof. Rooms super clean and quiet. What else?!
Go home for a boat is very romantic and this ship's location is perfect!
The beds were so short that we have to put matrasses on the floar. Wifi did work only at the end of the ship and the breakfast was so boring.
It was a cosy stay!
The Wi-Fi quality should be improved.
staff are friendly and helpful. rooms are an ok size and good space for luggage. it's location close to town.
nothing all good, thanks
The room is clean and comfort. It is a good and new experience to pass the night in a hotel on the river, rather than a normal one. We enjoyed passing the night on the boat's roof having a drink and watching the world Cup final. The staff were so friendly.
The Wi-fi connection was poor, however, we was not in need to use it during our stay. The hotel location is in a walkable distance from Wawel Castle and the old town, however if it is your first time to visit, do not try to discover its location by yourself, as it is not easy to find. It is better to ask in the tourists information office located near Wawel Castle about the hotel exact location, they will help you to find it easily.
No AC in the room and it was a hot day in July so I slept with underwears only.
Great location close to downtown. Pleasant and helpful staff 24h. Cosy pub on the upper deck. Very affordable.
The room was very warm,-poor ventilation. Long way to walk from the parking.
- friendly staff - quiet location - beautiful view over the river and castle
- beds are not for tall people
