Hotel Monopol Wrocław  

Dear Sirs, The client of room nº 229, Mr. Antonio Quelhas, staying at the Hotel Monopol in Wroclaw from 14th to 17th November informed me about the bad service provided by this hotel. On November the 15th, when he arrived at this room Mr. Quelhas checked it has not been clean, so he was forced to ask the cleanup as well as towels and ice because the refrigerator was not working. I want to remind you that your guest, member of the Management Committee of our company and regular customer at the Sofitel, is staying in this hotel as a nominee of our plant in Poland taking into consideration that your service was exceptional As you should know, your guest have been staying there a few times this year. We foresee a few more visits to your city this year and we have doubts if this hotel is the best choice for our director. We would like to know what actions will be taken to solve this issue We can trust in your service or we'll be forced to change the hotel today? We look forward for your soonest reply. The luxury room and bath room

Breakfast was not special for the number of stars - missing honey and nutella

Monopol is much better standard and luxury than lot of net famous prestige hotels

Room was large, comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly. Bathroom was great and so were the breakfasts.

The building was old world design. The decor should reflect that. Instead the decor was starkly modern and not very warm and comforting.

The hotel is stunning, and very unique. The wellness and spa facilities were excellent and the staff were extremely accommodating.

Breakfast and free internet was included in the price the room had a nice size

When taking a shower you automatically flooded the bathroom as there was not an adequate shower curtain

The location is in the heart of the city, the spa is amaizing.

Hotel is very close to the main square, and to one of the main shopping malls in Wroclaw. Facilities in the room were good, especially the shower and jacuzzi bath. As is common in most Polish hotels, while there was a mini-bar/fridge, there was no kettle in the room. Fortunately I'd gone prepared! Very comfortable bed, and the heating/air- conditioning was easy to regulate - nothing worse than a stifling hot room, even in winter.

As someone has commented before, I found the design of the hotel was an uneasy mix between the old style of the building itself and the rather stark modern fittings. It didn't quite work for me. Staff were efficient but, as a woman travelling on her own, I found them a little impersonal. The dining room looked so formal that I did not feel comfortable enough to take my evening meals there in solitary splendour! Breakfast was reasonable, although I have experienced better in less grand hotels. I was fortunate, having booked early, to get a good rate for my two nights, but I don't think I would have been happy if I'd had to pay the rack rate.

Fantastic hotel. I have nothing negative to say. The spa facilities are fabulous, the staff nice and efficient, and the room spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was enormous and everything I tried was delicious.

I like location and style. I know Wroclaw is art city and this Hotel is art also. It looks very interesting. Although it is 4 years after construction it looks still as new.

Breakfast would be on higher standard.

The Monopol is a luxurious hotel with friendly staff. The restaurants are excellent with the Acquario being, from my experience in Wroclaw over 2 years, the best restaurant in town. The spa facitlities are beautifully designed and also exude luxury and relaxation.. It is walking distance from the main square and from shopping centres. Finally the Reception and Concierge were most helpful.at resolving a few unusual questions for me. Overall, a hotel one would like to make a regular destination.

I liked everything!

I liked everything. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The room was lovely and big and we asked for more pillows and no problem. I would highly recommend this hotel and will return again. Good value with excellent facilities and lovely buffet breakfast. The Monopol is very central and excellent location for people planning to travel for the Christmas Markets.
