It is situated in the quiet Pszczyna Forest by the Paprocanskie Lake, near Katowice and Tychy. It is a masterpiece of Silesian artistic culture of the 19th century and has retained its original style from 1868. The wooden ceilings, creaking stairs and floors are still in almost original condition. The splendid forest and the park that surround the hotel are great for jogging, walking and cycling. There are other places with similar decor, but this one felt very authentic. Staff was very helpful, and overall stay was very nice. This is a very unique place,stained glass windows are of museum caliber. The resteurant main dining room is like no other, no wonder this place hosted presidents of several countries.

- Beautiful historical building, very nice setting in the middle of a forest, close to main roads (so, easy to include in your tour), excellent restaurant and very nice city + interesting castel nearby (Pszczyna/Pless) and if you are a fan of Daisy von Pless or history before ww1 , this place is a must. This hotel justifies a detour. Mosquitoes in the summer time (lake+forest!)

We arrived very late at night and the staff waited for us to arrive, the setting by the lake was ideal and the staff were friendly and professional. We loved this hotel and will be returning again. Can't fault it, was quiet, tranquil and romantic, just perfect

Bliskość lasu i jeziora, cisza. Przestronne wprawiające w dobry nastrój pokoje. Czystość. Dzik z kluseczkami przepyszny. Nie przepadam za wypchanymi zwierzętami i wypreparowanymi porożami.

Urocze położenie nad jeziorem w lesie. Duża dbałość o szczegóły w aranżacji wnętrza. Pyszne śniadanie, sympatyczny personel. Bliskość trasy przelotowej (zatrzymaliśmy sie w hotelu w drodze powrotnej z Budapesztu). Nieczynna sauna z powodu awarii.

Non ho parole per descrivere la meraviglia di questo hotel. Letteralmente da favola! La cortesia dello staff sempre attento a ogni esigenza, l'ambiente di lusso e allo stesso tempo familiare e discreto, la fantastica posizione, l'ottima cucina del ristorante, in generale l'ospitalità dei polacchi, la cura dell'arredamento (tutto d'epoca), il prezzo bassissimo per una struttura del genere, la bellezza architettonica della struttura... Fantastico!

Bardzo ładna lokalizacja - jezioro I las. łAdny apartament, z okien którego rozpościerał się piękny widok na krajobraz. Możliwość skorzystania z jacuzzi. Przepiękna restauracja I bardzo miły personel Trudny dojazd (mój gps poprowadził mnie przez ścieżkę rowerową...)

Superbe architecture dans un cadre magnifique. Une ambiance rare de vieux manoir. Pour le reste, les prestations de l'hotel sont a la hauteur du lieux Le matelas est un peu 'sec'. Il y a des compromis a faire pour loger dans un lieu charge de traditions, et ce point m'a semble le plus difficile. Bon, on dort quand meme... Le wifi gratuit marche plus ou moins bien selon les aleas climatique, ce qui s'explique car le site est isole.

Welgekomen rustplaats tijdens zaken trip, lekker eten en ontbijt, prachtige locatie met vooral veel stilte . Op dik uur rijden van Krakau centrum op half uur rijden van Auschwitz. Zeker een aanrader.

Lo gran acogedor que es , no solo sus materiales , sino sobretodo su servicio , grandes profesionales Puedo decir que llegamos de milagro, acertamos en la ulica pomnieca, dentro de un bosque con carreteras con muchos baches (alguno de elefante) y acertamos a leer un cartel con una bicicleta que decia 2,6 km, en ese momento ibamos en sentido contrario ,...
