accueil sympathique malgré une situation de surbooking Je n'ai pas du tout aimé le fait qu'en arrivant à l'hôtel de Katovice le 21 juin vers 23h30, après une réservation en bonne et due forme précisant une arrivée tardive, j'apprends que ma chambre est occupée ! On me propose une chambre dans un autre hôtel ce qui est très désagréable compte tenu de l'heure ! Malgré tout le personnel de la réception s'est montré charmant et sincèrement désolé pour moi |

The staff - the guy who managed the fitness centre was really nice although the facilities were awful Poor location, rooms were far too small, the fitness centre was awful & the menu for the restaurant & room service was the worst I have experienced anywhere in Europe. The quality of the room service food was very poor. |

The smell of food greeted me as I walked into the Lobby - or perhaps I should say a smell of the kitchen. My room however was excellent and room service very speedy. The hotel is expensive though, almost 500PLN - this is very steep by polish standards for a modern 3/4 star hotel. So it's very much geared towards biz people with expense accounts. |

I think it is an acceptable solution as it is not so easy to find other good hotel in this town. As quality it is a bit poor whther compared with hotel in Western Europe. |

Absolute bare minimum four-star facilities. Best you can expect in Katowice. Staff were unfriendly. Would provide no information or assistance e.g. parking until we had presented a credit card. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. Nearly all the hotel stank of cigarette smoke, though to be fair our non-smoking room only slightly smelled of it. The walk to the city centre was unmarked and passed through badly-lit streets and goes via the prostitute district. Car parking was 30 Euros per night, an obscene rate for a hotel outside the centre of a medium-sized city. |
