The staff were extremely friendly, and helpful. Assisted with advice for visiting Gdansk, Malbork and Sopot. Also helped with dining. Room was spotless, breakfast very good value, and location perfect. |

Our hotel room was modern, clean and quiet. The hotel is a walk of around 25 minutes from the main railway station. It is easiest to go by tram (no. 8) if you have luggage to carry. The trams go from outside the railway station, and there is a stop (Chmielna) just two minutes' walk from the hotel. |

The hotel is ideally located, just a few steps away from the inner city and all the tourist places. The car could be parked safely right in front of the door. The place is new, impeccably clean and very comfortable. The owner who speaks English very well worked as receptionist and was extremly helpful with recommendations and general insight. The price was great for a place of this quality. The breakfast room has no windows. |

Close to attractions in the old town of Gdansk. The owner was very helpful. The hotel was very new, inside an old building and in a quiet area. Free internet access in room via ethernet cable. |

Excellent location, very bright and spacious room, really friendly manager. We reserved a room with a "double" bed and received a "twin". |

The hotel was very central to the old town and within walking distance of nice places to eat. The only down side to the stay was the fact that the hotel had no lift,we were on the top floor and had to walk up 73 steps to get to our room. This would not suite anyone who wasent fit. |

Excellent location 2 mins walk to river and old town, quiet street. Nicely renovated in modern style, our room was very bright, spacious, lovely bathroom too - but the other room at the same price on our floor was much smaller. We were not able to pay by credit card as it was inconvenient for the owner - so we had to pay by cash which was inconvenient (despite 5% room discount) for us. |

The friendly proprietor and the closeness of the hotel to the town (just accross the bridge from the main drag). There is a development site opposite on which nothing is happening at the moment and the holes in the ground are full of water. |

Recent renovations are very well executed, making rooms and facilities above average. Relatively quiet (in March) but the number of rooms means it would probably be so any season, making the stay that much more enjoyable. Very well situated to visit the old town and world-changing sites of the Solidarity movement. Some may regard the lack of a restaurant in the hotel as a drawback, but plenty of good eating available within easy and pleasant walking distance. |

Fantastic location and really friendly, obliging manager. Quiet and just a few minutes walk from the old town. Walking distance from central station. If you want a quiet, clean place to sleep after walking the town, this is perfect. |

Personnel = hotel owner is very polite, friendly and helpful. Speaks fluently Swedish and English so it's easy to communicate and get information about the beautiful town of Gdansk. New, clean hotel at just 5 minutes walk the Gdansk Old Town centre. |

Location. Close to Old Town, Long Market. Lots of opportunities to spend good time in the downtown. Hotel is newly opened, clean and pleasant. Breakfasts (poor choice and variety, no hot meals). Was not able to pay credit card in spite of information on Booking.com website. Need to have good gps navigation to get there (access to the hotel is very tough). |

The Królewski hotel is very exceptional thanks to its beautiful location on the Motława River near the famous Polish Baltic Philharmonics and its rich history dating back to the 17th century. |
In June 2009 a total renovation of the Mercure Hevelius hotel was completed. These newly created interiors were conceived to meet all the Guests expectations regarding comfort, style and wellbeing. |
Centrally located on the bank of the Motlawa River, with wonderful views of the yacht marina and the Old Town, the luxurious Hotel Gdańsk occupies a beautifully restored 18th-century granary. |
