It is very near to the airport and they give you one free ride there with there shuttle.

There was construction going on all day while they are building another hotel on the grounds. There as no restaurant. Only a small buffet for breakfast. The room is small. It is 30 kilometers from the city and it the woods. No shops, restaurants, markets or anything to do. It is in the middle of the Country. Shuttle is only free for one way to or from the airport. Any others cost $10 PLN. There is no Bus service to town. It is a bad 2 Star. I moved after the 1st night to there 3 Star hotel Wilga which is 100 meters away.

I chose this hotel merely because it was located so close to Katowice airport and it had decent reviews. I was only looking for somewhere that was clean and adequate for an overnight stay before heading off in the morning and that was what I got. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was reasonably large and the bathroom very good for this price level - it was as shown on the photos. The room was otherwise quite basic but what can you expect at this price? The towels didn't match and were getting a little thin but were crisp and clean as was the bed-linen. Breakfast is provided in the hotel and was surprisingly good. A plate is brought to you already loaded with various meats and cheeses, some salad items and slices of boiled egg covered in a sauce sprinkled with herbs. Bread rolls, butter, jam, tea, coffee, juice are available on a buffet table. This hotel has a sister, more upmarket hotel across the road with a restaurant (open until 23:00) where the food is absolutely exceptional - and I do mean exceptional! Food of this standard would normally be found only in the very best and most expensive restaurants and yet I paid a little over £10 for two courses and a drink. You could probably eat and drink for under £5 if you made the right selections. Overall if you are on a budget this would be the place to head. I wasn't really on a budget and only selected this hotel as it was the first I saw with good reviews that was close to the airport. If I were to return I'd go for a little more luxury and stay at its sister hotel across the road, the Hotel Wilga, which I've since spotted is also available through Booking.com

For the price I don't think I could really fault this place. It is basic of course, but clean and my room at least was a good size.

Free shuttle services, location, the restaurant next to the hotel is worth visiting; the rooms and furniture are decent; one can rent a bike for free and take a ride around the area

The Internet almost didn't work, the breakfast was more various before, now it is just a plate, which is taken out from the fridge for each quest

Professional staff, convenient location for the airport, shuttle service to the airport. Quiet area, with decent pub/restaurant just accross the road. Free wifi in the hotel, simple, but good breakfast.
