This pleasant, private and cosmopolitan design hotel has a fantastic location in the heart of the Old Town, and offers you exceptionally comfortable accommodation with free internet access.

Hotel Pica Paca is housed in carefully restored storehouse and has a central yet peaceful location. After a good night’s sleep in your uniquely designed room, you can look forward to a tasty, complimentary breakfast. In addition to the spacious breakfast room in the basement, the hotel features a coffee bar and a delightful patio in the garden.

The surrounding area offers a wealth of shops, restaurants and historic attractions, and the Main Square is only 100 metres away. In case you want to explore the region, the hotel offers both car and bicycle rentals. There are also excellent public transport connections nearby, with the main railway station only 1.3 km away.

Hotel Pica Paca has 8 spacious and individually designed suites, equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Each room features its own theme, which includes one room dedicated to Marilyn Monroe and another to Albert Einstein. These unique designs are complemented by illustrations by the German artist Nina Soentgerath.

Area information

Many historic sites, including the Old Town, the Golden Gate and the Green Gate, are within walking distance of the hotel. Other historic attractions well worth seeing include St. Mary’s Church, the largest brick church in the world, and the Long Market with its beautiful Renaissance townhouses and the Neptune Fountain.

The seaside resort of Sopot is only a short journey away with its beach promenade and excellent shopping facilities. The nearby seaport city of Gdynia, which together with Gdansk and Sopot forms the economic region of Tricity, is only 30 minutes’ drive from Gdansk and offers a wealth of cultural attractions.

visitors need to know there is no lift or elevator

Young staff all very friendly and helpfull. Booked early morning taxi for us to airport and ensured we had breakfast even at 4.00 a.m!

Rooms at the front of hotel can be noisy from road noise particularly if windows left open.

New and clean hotel with an excellent situation. Very friendly and helpful staff.

A mirror also in the room, now the only mirror was in the bathtub.

The warm and genuine welcome from the Manager. The location was excellent as was the breakfast. The room well designed, compact but most acceptable.

The absence of a lift meant guests on the 3rd floor (as we were) needed to have a stong pair of legs and lungs.

Huone oli todella loistava ja sijainti hyvä.

Yökulkeminenoli hieman hankalaa, piti olla pitkä koodi ja käynti ei ollut vastaanoton kautta vaan jostain aivan muualta!

Een heel mooi en comfortabel mini hotel op een perfecte locatie (binnen 10 lopen minuten in hartje city centre). De persoonlijke service is top. Een meer dan uitstekend hotel voor zowel zakelijke als touristische gasten.

Paikka oli erinomainen, samoin siisteys.

Huoneessamme erittäin huono valaistus, ei esim. pystynyt lukemaan. Neljän tähden ´hotellissa pitäisi olla ravintola, jossa "viitsii" istua. Hissin puuttumisesta pitää mainita esitteessä. Hinta ei vastannut odotuksia. Sitä paitsi siihen lisättiin VAT 7%, vaikka käsitimme että verot sisältyvät hintaan. Varausvahvistuksessa hinta 145 eur/yö, veloitus 153 eur/yö

Hotelli on erinomaisella paikalla, myös rauhallinen. Vanha talo, joka on täysin uusittu, ja huoneet modernisoitu erillaisin teemoin. Esim. "Madonna","Albert Einstein","Marilyn Monroe", jne. Hyvä aamiainen, hyvä palvelu.

Talossa ei ole hissiä, joka on ehkä esteenä vanhemmille vieraille. Aamiaishuone saisi olla suurempi, toimii kuitenkin.
