Simply Great!!! absolutely the best hotel in Bydgoszcz for luxury, location and value for money

Fantastic staff.Secure parking.Very well restored older hotel with lots of history.Room was very clean, big and had a high ceiling.Nice dinig room and bar.Food was allright.

Hotel was difficult to drive to due to construction and one way streets. Some night club noise as our room overlooked the main street.

it was very central to all shops and restaurents

The staff was really helpfull. Stayed out of the way when not needed but going out of their way to help when you do!

1.lack of air-conditioning in room. 2.lack of computer for use of guests. 3. orange squash, not juice at breakfast. By Britsh standards this is a 3 star not 4 star hotel.

The hotel is great, I liked it a lot! The breakfest was fantastic! Location is near the Old Market (the center of the Old town)

location of hotel was ideal for seeing as much of the places of interest, in that it was not too far from the old town square, yet was reasonably price competitive. Staff were helpful, when help was required

All the night unbearable disco noise from opposite side, taxi and tramway traffic...spoiling a very good hotel's overall performance..

I liked the appearance of the building and the stained glass windows. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean.

There is no air conditioning so the window was left open at night and the noise from outside was unacceptable.

If you like to stay at a hotel that has character than you can't go past the Pod Orlem. It it's day it would have been a luxury hotel as the decorations are grand and quite stunning. Even the room keys have character! Dint use the lift - walk down the stairs as you will enjoy the experience. The breakfast is opulent and quite formal and one could imagine royalty dining here. The staff were terrfic and happy to help in any way they could which was a great welcome to Poland. This hotel is a lovely change from the standard hotel as staying at the Pod Orlem is more of an experience that takes you back in time to a grand era of almost 100 years ago.

The rooms are getting a bit tired now, and if you wanted a modern room then maybe this hotel is not for you.

Enjoyable, stylish place, in the heart of a beautiful city. Makes you long for the 1920'.

In order to verify the credit card, they blocked the charge and then charged the card again after the check out, so for some time the credit card limit was more limited that it should have been.

The hotel is very nice, well maintained and has a good location in the center and not far from train station. The staff was professional and friendly. The room was very good, clean and well equipped. The internet was working well. The hotel "welcome" letter was a nice touch.

I disliked the fact that the gym was not working at all. Increasing the number of electrical plugs in the room would be usefull.

The hotel is beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. Staff are professional, helpful, and very welcoming, while the breakfast buffet was beautifully presented, extensive and delicious.
