The hotel facilities!!!
The hotel staff and location.
Good location. Quiet, warm, helpful staff. Staff booked tours for us,transfers etc. Restaurant was good.
Sometimes were issues with wifi connection
Amazing location, staff, breakfasts and free sauna
The wifi kept going in and out and the bed was terribly uncomfortable.
Location was amazing, breakfast was perfect, they were accommodating of my dog and super friendly
The rooms are rather small. Pillows a bit too soft, but this is personal :)
The hotel is on a nice location and close to the big square. Good breakfast.
Location - next to Wawel castle and a short walk to the main square. Staff very friendly and helpful Great view from the window
We asked if they could change money and they said no. They didn't offer to ell us that there was an exchange office just down the street. They told us when we asked where Money Changing: We could change money but they didn't offer the information. I hate it when people tell you what they can't do instead of tryig to understand what you want and offering solutions. Parking: The hotel had no parking facilities or special agreements with parking facilities nearby.
Location could not have been better.
Very cold room (wind going through window frames) and no heaters; No wifi in the room at all. Didn't see the net. No safe in the room Very poor running tub water - 2 drops an hour No bottle opener for complimentary bottles of water Receptionists were indifferent
Breakfast Clean room Teapot station View from the window Proximity to parking
Windows in our room were not openable, ventilation was poor and the room smelled intensively after mold. WiFi signal in the room was very weak.
We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Pod Wawelem and our city break to Krakow. I would strongly recommend them both.
The bathroom was in a terrible condition - style of the 70ies..the conditioning was not working so I got a heater which was noisy ..the walls were dirty...
Location and staff
The breakfast is not the best. I missed hot milk and cacao. The butter has not really good presentation.
The situation. The silence inside hotel.
The fire escape was stacked with chairs on the 5th floor
Seems to be quite newly renovated - good comfort Level. Nice Restaurant with the hotel
No parking (60zl a day for nearby public parking), small room but ok for the money
River view, Good for the money, modern, clean room, with 'bathroom' with just a shower, toilet and washbasin. Near to the restaurant, center and concert hall we went to.
Beautiful views. General high standard, newly furbished.
Heating was not working properly.
Small hotel for looking over old town and Wawel.
bed was not very comfortable
very central location, very helpful reception, excellent breakfast, beautiful view of Wawel hill from room
Great location and great breakfast. The rooms are small, but very comfortable
1 male member oif the reception staff was so miserable and obnoxious his face could have curdled milk!
location pirce cleanliness good breakfast choice
I wish there had of been snow- but that is beyond anybodies control
Beautiful location, amazing views, easy walking distance to both the old square and the Jewish quarter. I would recommend both tbis hotel and Krakow as a destination to ANYONE. It's a MUST do on your "bucket list"
Great location for exploring the old city
Shower door closure poor and water splashes out through door bottom gap, a seal would help to direct water into shower tray. Room number, 310.
The restaurant staff service and likewise Pan Gawel's help with booking train tickets via the Internet. No problem too big.
Petty but no milk sachets in room - had to ask for milk for tea and it came in a jug - with no fridge in the room we had to store it on the window sill to keep cool! No safe in room - there was last time we stayed, maybe only certain rooms have them?? Breakfast staff a little rude this time round, last time they were lovely.
Location is excellent, walking distance from all areas, right on the River next to the lovely Wawel castle. Excellent value for money - basic but very clean, comfortable, quiet - dont need to waste money on things you really dont need at more expensive hotels. Buffet breakfast is basic but tasty and adequate for a breakfast if you're not a greedy pig!!! Wouldnt stay anywhere else in Krakow, no need to we're happy staying here :-)
A workman started drilling at half seven in the morning.
