We stayed in Olztyn for one night only as a stop-over during a long car trip. We enjoyed the town as it was very cozy, the locals were friendly and the restaurant we ate at was very nice. I would visit Olztyn for 2-3 days again.

Nice, small Polish city.
Nice, small Polish city. Some interesting buildings - easy to walk around and get where I needed to go. People I spoke to were ok though you need to try some Polish (same throughout the country which is fine). Poland is what you expect.

Olsztyn is an historic town whose history, like so much of Eastern Europe, is complicated. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring and learning - and relaxing of course ( in summer there is a town beach to use). Public transport is cheap and easy (make sure you have the jakdojade app on your phone - big help). We ate in different restaurants from Polish (with a fish specialty because of the region) to Greek and Indian - they were all excellent.
Now we have "done" the town we would look to explore the surrounding area.

Summer time on the beach. So many lakes to choose from.
Summer time on the beach. So many lakes to choose from. But Miejska beach have most to offer and its on the biggest lake. Bike routes around city's forests. "Ges i zajac" is serving great goose dishes at main street of Old Town. End of May "Kortowiada" 3-4 nights of parties at Kortowo, students part of city. Beach parties and more.
Olsztyn is for active ppl. Will say couples 20-30 y o.
During winter try "Bojery" Ice Yacht Racing if you dare on Ukiel Lake.

Olsztyn's a very nice city - not too big, not soo small, with all the amenities one needs. Everything is in fairly short walking distance if you stay in the Old Town or elsewhere in the center. Attractive Old Town full of restaurants and cafes. Lots of nice, interesting buildings outside the Old Town too - the city is an architectural feast. Beautiful park along the Lyna river next to the Castle. Długie lake is also very nice - there's a path going around it. Also check out the interesting shows at the Planetarium. (Tip: if you're staying in the Old Town and come by train, use Olsztyn Zachodni station - it's a short walk.)

During winter, especially during Christmas time it is very quiet city. We visited Olsztyn also to meet our grandparents and spend time with them. In case you want a place with various entertainment options - it should not be Olsztyn during Christmas time. In case you are looking for a few quiet days, with nice long walks, it will be perfect. Especially long paths along Łyna river called "Łynostrada" are very nice for anyone - families, athletes looking for long and nice running experience or even winter canoe. Decide yourself.
Well-maintained hotel at Ukiel Lake. Breakfast was tasty staff was friendly and helpful. Good price/performance ratio.
Hotel restaurant offers traditional polish kitchen with some asian fusions - we enjoyed it a lot! Modern design, comfortable seats and it's air-conditioned. Soups and main dishes are really good, desserts needs probably some improvement.
Big plus for children playground close to the restaurant, so you can enjoy dinner and keep your kids busy. Highly recommended!
The hotel was modern, clean, and comfortable. I had a wonderful room with great windows for a lot of cool air. The kitchen wa fully equipped, it even had some free food like cereal, coffee, sugar, tea, etc. A lot of hotels with kitchenettes don't have that, so I appreciated it.
There was even a washing machine and a coffee maker! The owner was very helpful, made sure my bicycle was safe and helped me any way he could. I will definitely stay here again if I'm ever in Olsztyn.
I Definitely recommend👍The best apartments I have ever been to. New, clean and tidy. There is everything: hair dryer, iron, kettle, etc. Very nice owner, ready to help with anything.
Next to the apartments, a large shopping center. There you will find everything you need. If I will be in Olsztyn again, I will definitely choose this accommodation!
We were very impressed with the amenities and practicality of the apartment. New, spacious, tastefully furnished. A great host who welcomed, advised and recommended what to see and where to go in Olsztyn. There is private parking and a particularly good location, 2 minutes' walk to the center. I highly recommend it.
Location is walking distance ie 300-400meters from the center where you can find plenty of bars and cafes. The hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious, the beds are comfy and the interior is premium. The breakfast is versatile and tasty, nothing is missing and they constantly bring new food.
The location is perfect. Apartment itself is very nicely decorated, and it has all of the amenities one could possibly need. Overall, really good price-to-quality ratio!
As an added bonus, Olsztyn is a very beautiful city!
Interior design, smallest detail was thought about. Ive visited so many hotels - and none of them could compete with Apartment Las - which feels instantly like home! I would highly recommend and will visit again
Very cozy and comfortable apartment with everything you need. Good location. The apartment has everything for life. Very nice and cozy design. Quite quiet area. Purely. Nice place to stay in Olsztyn.
The apartment is next door to the bakery, an amazing choice for breakfast/supper. The place is super new, clean and very comfortable. I wished there was a cafe nearby but the closest was downtown Olsztyn.
The best part of this hotel is a swimming pool with a jacuzzi and sauna, which are usually included in the price. One more nice thing is a terrace of the restaurant in a beautiful lakeside setting.
It had everything I would have expected in a good hotel 10 years ago. It was clean, well looked after, the staff were friendly and efficient. The public spaces were good.
My child was sad that she had to left her friends to other hotel and was crying. Girl at the reception gave her a small teddy bear as a gift. Very nice of her!
Nice, interesting established and well maintained appartment in the heart of Olsztyn. You can hear silent organ music from cathedral through open window :)
