History of the hotel, old-fashioned style of furniture and decorations (not all was quite good, some soviet-union-type things, e.g. carpet or ceramics in the restaurant, did not suit the concept) Luggage keeper with saddness in his face |

Authentic decor and ambiance. Historically significant. Great restaurant. Some of the staff were extremely unfriendly and almost tainted my stay. |

Rooms and bathrooms were spacious. Everywhere was very clean and efficient. It had character. Good buffet breakfast with a wide choice of food. The location was perfect, ie close to transport, old town and shops, but quiet. Coffee at breakfast was never hot enough - nor of great quality. |

Location and old style charm of Hotel Breakfast - no hot food at all. Dinning room not as pictured on internet probably due to not many people staying in Hotel so used smaller room. |

Ideally located for exploring the old town and very close to railway station. Bedroom was large and clean. Found the bed too hard.Decoration of the room whilst clean and in good condition was very dull. |

Location and charcacter of the proerty Staff not so friendly, maybe because they don't have to try - the hotel is always likely to be busy because of location. |

This was a great little hotel. Quaint & homey accommodation. It was clean and comfortable. It almost had the feel of a bed & breakfast only in a hotel. The decor is like a home. Personal service as well. Good breakfast in the morning. Love the free internet. We arrived and had booked a room for 3 beds, but have another young child, the lady at the front desk saw this and recommended a room with a queen size bed for my husband and I and a pullout couch for the children. This made the stay much more comfortable for everyone and it was no more expensive. I appreciated her recommendation. Great location to Krakow's main town square. The main street can be extremely loud at night with the windows open; however, once you close the windows it was very quiet. There are actually two layers of window so it really keeps the sound out. |

Room and bath cleaned well, fresh towels daily, excellent buffet breakfast, bedroom windows that opened, good bath size, very convenient location Bedroom fabrics a bit dark, but this was unimportant -- everything was totally flexible, comfortable, very clean and roomy. Good lighting too. |

Convenient for city centre. Quiet Well appointed Has a certain "style" (historical background - a famous hotel). Fine staircases etc The reception staff did not appear to be expecting us and our son, who was to join us 2 days later, was not booked in - they did not realise that my wife, who speaks Polish, could understand their whole conversation on the subject! Not a good start. Our son had already had problems with the payment for his room which was irritating. |
