Clean hotel and rooms. Good free WiFi . Great location close by to points of interest. Friendly staff willing to help you with any particular tour of transportation services. Good breakfast.
A little bit more cleaning as hair from the previous guest was in the bathroom, on the bed, on the chair, etc.
Location, capable staff, value for money
Breakfast was so and so,but OK.
the location. the style and atmosphere of the place
Location is great! Just a 2 - minute walk to Main square, and also only 3 minutes to main rail/bus station which connects to the Airport. Staff is great and helpful!
The central location
Loud. Very difficult to sleep. Room was very very small. Everything seemed cute but fragile. Didn't seem secure.
It was quaint.
Beautiful city, rich in culture, friendly people. Where ever we went we experienced a polite attitude and a willingness to help. With regard to the hotel it was ideally located for our needs, within the Stare Miasto, close to all transport links. The hotel is very much in the old world style which may not be to everyones liking but it was what we were looking for. Simple, clean and comfortable. The hotel staff throughout our stay were always smiling and helpful.Lovely stay.
The lack of evening meals and no tea or coffee in the room was annoying
I thought that the staff were good, the hotel well located and easy to use transport system.
The rooms, the staff and the breakfest.
Twice a receptionist gave us a room that already had people in it. When we opened the door it was really embarrassing walking in on someone. Luckily, they gave us a bigger, nicer room after that. The breakfast was a hodge podge of different things laid out on a table and had no order to it. We bumped into every guest and employee when trying to make our plates. The coffee was luke warm. Luckily breakfast was free. No hairdryer in the bathroom.
Great location in Old Town. The bed was comfortable. This is an affordable hotel. Breakfast was free. The staff called our cab for us.
The ladies on the day shift could smile a bit, there were no croissants for breakfast. Overall, was very good and we highly recommend.
Localization very central, though very quiet, clean, very well decorated (old style), cosy, my husband loved the breakfast
Paid a little more than in other cities, but was worth it for the experience and locataion.
English speaking staff, nice breakfast. Grand furnished hotel
Everything was superb.
The Pollera was a wonderful hotel. It was like stepping back in time to wealth and opulence of a bygone era. The location was just superb, so close to everything the train station and the old town centre. The rooms were spotless and huge. Breakfast was ample, a great selection. Even though Krakow was very cold, the hotel exuded warmth and charm. I even found it very warm at night. An excellent stay and I would definitely go back there again.
staff not really bad, just not very friendly, maybe a bad day for them..to be fair
everything except staff
Staff would be warmer but everything else was great.
The location, cleanliness, big bathroom, wifi...
all was ok
we booked one night, and we liked the placed so we stayed on night more
All was ok
the hotel is in a good position in center of krakow near the main square and central station. we found a last minute offer so we were able to manage this good hotel at good price. Staff was kind always and the place is nice. Raccomanded
Staying in Kraków for New Year. Hotel is an amazing location, very close to everything you want to be near. We stayed in room 117 which is a mini suite and was well worth the small extra cost. Huge bathroom and bedroom and a seating area with fridge, air con and coat stand made the stay really comfortable. Well recommended.
Polish culture is known for some rude outbursts and we ended up having our share from the hotel driver. I can understand a breakfast limited to local taste, but the quality needs improvement.
Perfect location; vintage looks; staff is not composed of professional hospitality people, but they try; e-mails answered promptly and my requests were all attended for; nice view from suite.
Public parking site opposite the hotel - had to come back a couple of times to put more money in (but at least you could put in almost a day's worth!) and you may not get a place at certain times. It's free from 20.00 to 10.00 if there are places.
Great location - just a couple of blocks from the Rynek and the Christmas markets (and close to the massive new Krakow Mall, if you like that sort of thing). Decent size room and large bathroom. Overall still has a certain old world charm despite being a bit faded. Good variety for breakfast. Helpful staff.
Would have liked coffee/tea facilities in bedroom.
Location of Hotel, Relaxed atmosphere, Helpful staff, Good breakfast, Quiet room even though location is in busy area.
The room was cold, radiators only lukewarm but this was rectified quickly by supplying us with an electric radiator. Hot water takes a while to come through, we soon realised this and ran the shower for 5-10 minutes before we needed it. We agree with previous comments, tea/coffee making facilities would be very welcome in the rooms.
The hotel is ideally situated for the Old Town, restaurants and shops. The breakfast was typically continental, but plenty of it.
nice slightly old fashioned hotel; bedroom was large & comfortable; pleasant stay
