The Polonia restaurant is open from 07:00 to 22:00 and serves a wide range of traditional Polish dishes and home made delicacies, including pickled knuckle and spicy herring in cream – the chef’s speciality.

Area information

Wieliczka (18 km) - This 800 year old salt mine is one of the oldest salt mines still in operation. The mine has a 3.5 km tourist route that includes statues of historical and mythical figures, all sculpted by miners out of the rock salt. Even the crystals in the chandeliers are made of salt. Also featured are beautifully carved chambers, chapels, an underground lake, and exhibits that illustrate the fascinating history of salt mining.

National Museum Auschwitz – Birkenau (70 km) – This was the largest concentration and death camp in Europe between 1940 and 1945. Today the museum stands as a monument, honouring the victims of Nazism.

Zakopane and Tatra Mountains (100 km) - This mountain resort sits nestled at the foot of the Tatra mountains and boasts breathtaking views of Poland's beautiful countryside.

Częstochowa Monastery (140 km) - The town of Częstochowa is known for the famous Paulist monastery of Jasna Góra. The monastery is the home of the Black Madonna painting, a shrine of the Virgin Mary. Every year, millions of pilgrims from all over the world come to Częstochowa to see it.

was told by the front desk that the restaurant would close in 30 minutes. Was ignored for 10 minutes then told that the kitchen was now closed.

Excellent shower, good service, nice view from bedroom, location first class - railway station, shopping mall, Barbican gateway all within 200 meters.

Twin beds pushed together, not real king size double!

Accessibility

Very dated rooms, cramped and equipment very old and very basic. Definitely nat a 3 star hotel, more like a 1-2 star hotel.

It is very close to the city center and rellway station.

The beds (matresses) are very old.

The room they gave me, the bathroom was smelling of sewers, after complaint next day I got immediately another room as if they knew about the problem. Hotel definitely not worth the money it cost.

Friendly and helpful staff. We asked to leave our car while we visited a local attraction and that was no problem.

A little dark but to be fair that lent atmosphere which was partly why we booked it.

The location was central.

It was very hot. There was no airconditioning or fans. The noise from the street was very loud at night with the windows open and it never cooled down. I was uncomfortable the entire trip.
