the room (a triple room) was quite big, (as the bathroom). Very good location (in the old town). Good breakfast. the price was a bit high for the quality of the room (not really charming and somehow a little fair for this level of price : spoiled wallpapers behing the beds for example) |

I found the hotel to be excellent. The location is ideal for exploring the old town. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. |

Beautiful city. Great hotel. Helpful staff. Clean rooms. Perfect location. The WIFI was not compatable with iPADs, so I had no internet access. |

I liked its history, its decor and its location. I would have liked air conditioning, but hotel staff gave us a fan and it helped. The outdoor sign should add "Pod Bialym Orlem" in addition to "Hotel Polski" - our taxi driver could not find it. |

Hotel was of a very high standard in all respects. The only reservation was that there was no air-con in our room - combined with the fact that it overlooked the main thoroughfare (including McDonalds) running from the Florian Gate to the main square in the old town meant one was left with Hobson's choice: keep windows open and get no sleep due to the noise of late night revellers from the street, or close it and bake in an airless environment. The day before temperatures are been in the region of 35 deg centigrate, so this was no joke. Acquiring some portable air-con units should be at the top of the management's snag list. In defence of the hotel, the duty receptionist did offer to move us to a room with air-con for our last night. |

It was good value, the location was great and the staff very welcoming. It's central location meant that it was very noisy for most of the night. |

Fantastic location for the city centre. Very smart bedroom and public areas. Needed to keep the windows closed as street was noisy (People not traffic) Breakfast was ok but not great. |

The room I stayed in was spacious including the bathroom -- I.E., not an "airplane bathroom". I liked the fact that I could open the windows and that I was not "hermetically sealed" into the room! I enjoyed the buffet breakfast provided (nice variety) and the dining room was pleasantly laid out. The attendants did their best to replenish food items when necessary. The shower stall: too small to properly maneuver and the water supply/pressure quite unreliable. The small size may be important for "large people" to consider since there was no bathtub. Staff need to be a bit more approachable and friendly to guests except for the cleaning staff, who were mostly very nice. |

The hotel is centrally located and easy to find. The demeanour of some of the desk staff was cold and not always helpful. A sharp contrast to when I stayed there at Easter. |

The hotel is beautiful, old world, and charming. The staff is helpful and responsive. The rooms and public spaces are decorated with lovely taste and touches. We had a triple room facing an insanely noisy street. We were literally sleepless, people milling under our windows all night, the bars don't have a closing time, the garbage trucks start their rounds at 6:00 am. The staff didn't seem the least bit surprised when we staggered down in the morning with our complaints - it's evident that guests assigned to these rooms experience this routinely. They should have clearly articulated the liabilities of staying in these rooms; the clerk told us with a smile: "some of our guests, believe it or not, manage to sleep in those rooms. They did agree to assign us two rooms facing the courtyard and charged us what we were paying for a triple in one room. |

This hotel had a most convenient location. It was within walking distance to all sites, train station and tour gathering places. The room was spacious! The only problem was that the triple rooms face a busy street---not a problem during the day, but night time was active. I was at the clubs without being out of bed! :) |

Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Communication was easy. Breakfast delicious! Although, the hotel was lovely, our room was street side and it was very noisy. Next time I would request a bathroom with a shower stall vs. a tub with shower hose. |

Easy access to Krakow city center and the castle. Walking distance to many sites and tours. Our room was on a noisy street and people were being noisy all night long. High temps required open windows during a fluke heat wave and this let the noise in (although they were being loud enough a closed window mattered little. |

As first I like location, old, fashion stile, very kind hotel staff and good ,testy food. Only for charging water. That never happened to me in other hotels I have been in Poland. It is too cheap ,and it doesn't worth doing that and spoil the whole impression. |

Loved it, so near the centre in fact there. Near all the nightclubs for the young adult family with us. Staff lovely and helpful in all ways. Hit lucky as can take a chance booking online, exactly as the picture and info says. Near a historical castle too. Will definitely go back again and sooner the better. TV only had one satellite channel 'BBC World news'. Could one one more English speaking. |
