This got to be one all the great hotels out there! Wonderful location right on the Vistula River and most convinient, free boat ride from the hotel to the city center. Excellent service, the best breakfast buffet you ever want to experience, an all around very well appointed hotel. Kudos to the Polish-Norwegian team...and I told to hotel manager so! Great recommendation for anybody who wants to experience the splendid city of Krakow! Nothiing at all! Perhaps the public sytem music selection can be apporved upon. Too much of this over the top modern stuff, meaningless music.

Location: the hotel was close to Schindler's Factory, river walks and the old Jewish part of Krakow ... but it was a long walk from the train station. There is a great and varied range of food available for breakfast. The swimming pool and jazuzzi are a treat after a day's sight seeing. I wished they had had tea making facilities in the room.

The hotel is excellent location, beside the jewish district and shopping centre and it is a 20 min walk from the main square. The breakfast was the best I have ever had, with so much variety. The rooms were spotless clean and the towels changed daily. We organised two tours through the hotel and the bus collected and dropped us outside it. Our room was very small.

The quality of the hotel was equal to anything in the UK. I felt the hotel staff made you feel welcome. The hotel has superb facilities. It's in a beautiful spot to go walking along the river and I would recommend the hotel to anyone. Dinner was delicious aswell.

Very good service at the reception, they were helpfull and spoke well english. The taxidriver, Jerzy Michalik, was also very serviceminded. I will recomend this hotel to others. It was very loud between the rooms. We had to complain to staff about noisy neighbours for two nights. The staff tried to help us, but we slept very badly those two nights. It wasn't quiet before 2 o'clock in the morning.

Nice hotel just across the river from the jewish quarter , but a good 20 -30 mins walk into the centre, however there are trams running on the 2 main roads outside the hotel into the square , good facilities and nice staff. The pool was smaller then expected and colder then the river vistula but other then that a nice hotel.

It had a very good location close to the tram system and local shopping centre. Within easy access to all the major tourist attraction. I found the staff to be very friendly and approachable. The breakfast offered in the hotel was absolutrly superb. There is only two things I could comment on. Firstly, on your sight it indicated that a shuttle was available to take hotel guests accross the river, this was not available and secondly there were no tea making facilities in our hotel room.

The pool is lovely, really nice views of the river and the breakfasts were excellent. The hotel was quite noisy at night, twice we were woken by people who were drinking outside the hotel piano bar.

The staff were extremely friendly and hospitable and their english was excellent. Our room was very comfortable and the pool and gym were brilliant. The food in the restaurant was delicious and great value and the breakfast in the morning was the best buffet breakfast I have ever experienced in Europe. They also have a free boat for guests to go along the river to see the castle. We had an extremely enjoyable stay. It is not in the very centre of town but it is an easy 10 minute walk from the main square. There was nothing we did not like about our stay.

The staff members are all very friendly, especially at the reception desk and the souvenir shop. The jacuzzi, sauna, and swimming pool were also very relaxing appreciated after we walked a lot for sightseeing. The hotel is located along the river, so that we could avoid the noise from the city center. We had to walk for about 15 minutes to get to the center of old town, which never bothered us and even was a nice walking. We enjoyed the brilliant breakfast, that was surely a good start for a fine day.

My room was good. .The location was good . the pool view was good. The restaurant was freezing cold and service was slow even though the were only 2 other couples in the restaurant. I asked for the heating to be turned on as it was minus 20 degrees outside and the staff member said he would check it out for us but he never came back to us. We spoke with other holidaymakers and they all only went for one meal there and then didnt go back for a second.

We visited at the end of January/early February 2012 when the weather was very cold (- 26). Very comfortable hotel, comfortable bedrooms, lovely and warm. Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel location right on the river. When we were there the river was frozen solid but we were never cold in the hotel. Good location for visiting the Jewish area of Kazimierz and the Podgorska ghetto site. Excellent restaurants within easy walking distance. Schindler's factory is about a 20 minute walk away. We didn't use the tram although there is a stop right outside the hotel which takes you right into the city centre. It was about a 20 to 30 minute walk into the old town from the hotel. The hotel breakfast was very good, very diverse selection from cereal, yogurt and bread to bacon and eggs, with a salad buffet and cheese selection. Spa facilities were pretty good, open all day, consisting of a small swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna, and waterfall shower. Most of the time we had the leisure facilities to ourselves. Nothing to dislike. The lobby area where the bar is was right by the main doors and if someone opened the doors, a blast of arctic weather came in with them which made relaxing in there a tad uncomfortable. Be aware there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms so it's advisable to bring a travel kettle.

Too many people in waterpool and sauna in high season. I won't recommend it for this period of time. Small rooms and beds for category 4*

The hotel beds were comfortable and the hotel itself is in a nice location (close to Schindler's factory). The rooms and facilities are really great. We chose to park underneath the hotel, but to get out you need to get a barcode scanned. We stood waiting for 10 minutes at the front desk for our barcode to be scanned (a 5 second job), which was pretty inconvenient. Also, the breakfast is pretty pricey, if it was less expensive we would have considered it.
