Hotel Royal  

No hair driers available in rooms and very few available in reception. Keys needed reprogramming frequently.

Great location near Wawel castle, abundant and various breakfast, nice and clean rooms, freandly personnel.

Not very important thing, but for some reason it was really long way from reception to our room (with stairs, turns and long corridors), we even couldn't find out the exit a few times))) and it wasn't convenient to do with the luggage and baby in hands. And the hotel's restaurant was full every evening, with queue to enter.

The hotel Royal is situated in the best possible location for visiting krakow, the rooms were clean and the bed very comfortable. The reception staff were very helpful and informative. It was a nice gesture to find Bottles of water in the room every day. Not far from the main train and bus station which allows for easy travel to local sites. I would recommend this hotel and if we visit Krakow again, we would definitely stay at Hotel Royal.

In the room it would be nice to have a small refrigerator instead of the mini bar, and at least an English TV channel because we were cut out from the world news. Although breakfast was good and abondaned, it would have been nice if there was a change in the menu. No tea or coffee making facilaties in room.

Vey much like a once regal duchess that has fallen on slightly hard times, very grand and imposeing, very central and the restaurant is amazing.Yes the stair carpets are worn, yes its big, rambling and ever so slightly past its best but it really does try. My wife and I loved it

Everything. Everything about the Hotel Royal was incredible. It was the best hotel experience I have ever had and the staff was wonderful!

standard of the room, however fully justified by the price level.

The hotel building is charming from the end of 19 century. It's location on old town surrounding park next to castle makes it very attractive choice. Hotel situation on the corner of the streets where are tram lines makes that part of rooms have more noise from trams specially in the mornings and late evenings when surrounding is otherwise quieter. The room has a new furniture but bathroom was renowed last time on about twenty-thirty years ago with brown floor tiles and that time bathroom fixtures. Room has good heating and the windows have changed for cold winter times. Brakfast which included room price was good with some hot dishes. The breakfast restorant has nice view to park and castle.

The room has old style tube TV without HDMI connection for my laptop. So I couldn't see my beautiful pictures taken in Krakow and not surfing the Internet on the big screen. TV channel reception was poor, maybe the antenna cord has bad connectors and there weren't so many special satelite channels. Wireless Internet connection was included the room price but it was so slow that it was almost useless.

The new part of the hotel is very good Breakfast is great The hotel is well located

Location was excellent for what we wanted to do during our visit, staff were friendly and helpful, price was excellent and the restaurant was both value for money and the food was excellent. Bar staff in the hotel bar were fantastic, friendly and helpful

Finding rooms can be tricky, there a re lots of staircases and easy to get lost - or maybe that is just my rubbish sense of direction :-)
