Room in Jazz Wing (essential to avoid noise of trams). Reception staff friendly and helpful. Room very clean.
Cramped shower room. Basin plug wouldn't hold water and wasn't fixed inspite of requests. Breakfast area very gloomy. Fruit cocktail from a tin. Duvet cover very scratchy material.
Very bad shower
Full breakfast available and Smokers welcome on outside patio
Location, location, location! Room was large with high ceilings. Bathroom was adequate, I am not a fan of steps up to showers. Breakfast lots of choice, need mugs not dainty cups for a cuppa tea in morning, but again personal choice Staff extremely helpful
Bedroom door opened out on to the staircase, was afraid I would hit someone
staff care location
the rooms are rather small the interior is a bit dated car park is tiny
The breakfast buffet was wonderful! Quite a number of good quality of choices.
Room was too small. No air condition. If you leave window open unexpected visitors. Enormous flies!
In the centre of the Old town so everything was very accessible. The hotel staff were very help full and approachable. It was also possible to book car parking prior to the visit.
If I had to choose anything it would be the mood lighting in the room. It was very pleasant at night time but annoying during the day .... needed to be brighter and I would have appreciated toiletries in the bathroom.
good location helpfull staff
little bit noisy
First of all: location. It was fabulous to be able to walk for 10 minutes and be in the central square of Krakow. The staff was very friendly, they helped us a lot with our very early departure (05:00!). Very clean and quiet place, fair breakfast and very good coffee :)
We lived at 2nd floor and the Trams were very loud especially after 10pm and after 4am in the morning. Therefore the quality of sleep suffered a bit. Anyway it was a short stay (4 nights) and we travelled a lot so we were tired enough to have a deep sleep. The connection to the Central Station (Krakow Glowny) is quite poor via public transportation but given the short distance is acceptable (20 mins walk). We had no heavy luggage so it was OK. I would recommend for short stays and lower budget than the "Jazz" rooms ;)
Central; clean; helpful staff
HVAC Fans and coolers out side window and no air con.
Staff were helpful and polite.
Rooms were too small for 2 people to use. Had 2 different rooms for 4 nights. No air conditioning and fan was little help. Beds were too soft.
Location and parking
No mini bar,no safe,no air conditioning, lift not till the floor. Credit cars charged before the arriving without any further autorization. Not enough tables for breakfast.
We stayed in the Jazz section and had a big room at the back. The water was replenished every day that was a nice touch. Plenty of toiletries. Exceptionally helpful and pleasant reception Staff. Being able to walk through the park directly into Krakow was good. Taxi shuttle service from the airport was excellent.
Could still hear the trams plus the air-conditioning made a loud ticking noise which kept me awake. The ceiling had a slope in the most awkward of places : above the tea making facilities and above the bedside table. Thought there would have been a 'proper' bar to relax in, not just a corner of the restaurant! No lift direct to the Jazz rooms.
Staff friendly and very helpful
Noisy trams, leaking shower, no air con. Open the window and the noise of trams is worse, close it and you cook.
Great location, walking distance to old town market square
No air-conditioner, room looks old
i did like the location
the train, we got bad quality of sleep.
Lokattion is excellent, only 5 min away from "stary rynek". Receptionists and other staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast ok, but every day the same. Nice coffee. Quiet.
Lack of air conditioning while outside temperature was reaching 25 degrees at night
Helpful and smiling staff. Clean and quiet room. Tasty breakfast. Great location.
excellent location friendly and helpful staff
Trams were running right under my window making a terrible noise. They kept on coming one after another until very late at night and started again early in the morning.
Location was fine, very close to the old town centre, easy walking distance.
No air-conditioning in our rooms. Shower fittings broken. Fans provided did not work. Next to a busy tram system, found very noisy when windows were opened to allow fresh cool air in. This resulted in very poor quality sleep through out our stay. I've used Best Western before in other parts of the world, and in comparison, this has to be the worst.
Hotel staff very helpful (good knowledge of English) Hotel and rooms clean and comfortable. Excellent value all round for the money. Location very good for walking to the main square and other areas (palace, Jewish quarter etc) Food very good, the choice at breakfast was excellent. Loved Krakov and have a great respect for the people of Poland.
Cannot think of anything
Staff are open to discuss problem, only they can't do something.
1. Hotel is without air condition, the rooms are very hot. 2. The whole night "Trampan" was driving, very loudly. 3. The traffic noise from the cars where also very loudly. 4. Two nights we spend in hotel, we can't sleep. 5. In the night are celepration in the park opposide from hotel, drunken people, crash of glasses and so on. 6. We can't open window's. 7. In the morning at breakfast we can't get table. People was waiting long time to get table in row. It was not enough tables for the people. After we get table, eating was mostly nothing on buffet. 8. In short word: the hotel is a desaster.
Noise from the street No air condition
Proximity to centre of town. Reception staff helpful & friendly Good value for money.
Dining room staff didn't smile very much.. It should be part of the uniform! Glasses very hot, straight from dishwasher at breakfast, waitress said they were cold!! Growled at me when asked for a cold one. Why did we have to rummage in a drawer to get a saucer? Breakfasts weren't what I expected - where was the wonderful range of Polish sausages? Tinned/bottled frankfurters no substitute! Had to ask for clean glass in room after 2 days, both my brother and I had to ask for fresh water in room. None of the above are serious issues but do impact on the overall performance of the hotel.
