Hotel was very good bit dated but service excellent good breakfast rooms big everything good
No kettle in room so had to go out or downstairs for drinks
The closeness to Krakow's cultural center, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the old world ambience of the hotel
Very noisy. Adjacent to many night clubs and bars. Did not get much sleep until 2-4:00 am
The beds Very clean facilities Temperature just right Helpful friendly staff Breakfast was very adequate Location The lift
Very good location, in the very center of Krakow, nice architecture of the building, good breakfast, most of the staff friendly and helpful.
It is impossible to sleep in the rooms with windows towards the streets. The street is very noisy all night, with people partying till 5-6 am. The windows are thin and ineffective for phonic insulation. A second bad experience with the hotel was when we left and asked for a taxi. The receptionist called us a taxi with a fare more then double then the normal fares, and who couldn't give us a receipt. We should have called the police for that, for both driver and receptionist, but it was more important to catch our plane in that moment.
Excellent location, great atmosphere, cool old style, awesome elevator from 1930 :-) Very good breakfast served until 11 am. You can't be closer to the city center, you are in the heart of it. PS. Some people complain about the noise however this is city center next to multiple bars and pubs. It is expected for it to be like that, actually I even liked it.
Little bit cold room, temperature to low in the Winter. That is manageable and ok with me, old hotels have similar issues however some people may not like it.
Noise from street
Location Breakfast Staff
Very poor wifi A lot of noir at night from nightclub and street, bring airplugs
This is a beautiful old hotel, with great charm and a wonderful Old Town location. The breakfast was excellent. We hope to return to Hotel Saski.
There was nothing we didn't like.
Location & Cleanliness
Noise, outside until the early hours and poor Wifi connection.
The staff were very pleasant. The decor was old (in a good way) with original architectural features, including a wonderful elevator and gorgeous parquet floors. The beds were firm and comfortable and the shower and bath facilities excellent. The location is amazing, just a few seconds walk from the main square, and yet tucked away enough down one of the side streets so as to avoid the brunt of the evening's noise. It is also located beside one of the best restaurants in Krakow, La Fontaine: delicious food, VERY reasonable prices, and all beautifully presented in an interesting environment. I would recommend the Saski Hotel to anyone travelling on a budget who wishes to feel like they're not travelling on a budget. We had a great time during our four days there.
There are only very small things I didn't like, nothing that would put me off staying again. These are things like the plastic glasses in the bedroom and the slightly tired (but not awful) breakfast buffet.
bathroom needs a shower curtain
Perfect location in the heart of the Old Town Stylish interior Value for money
Poor wi fi Breakfast
Breakfast adequate but not very hot even at start... Staff very helpful-- Situation great..
rATTLY Noisy late at night. Rattly old lift - QUAINT BUT SCARY::Old computer for use of guests difficult to negotiate... Should Not have settled for a room without ensuite.
Location.Seconds away from the Main Square Old Style hotel. Lots of character Breakfast wasn't bad either.
Don't expect to get any sleep in this hotel if you end up in one of the rooms at the front. The nearby pub/club attracts revellers until 5am in the morning and you WILL hear drunk people having a good time all night and morning !
The hotel is clean, staff accommodating. Location is central within walking distance to many interesting and historical parts of the city. Verra
There was nothing I did not like
Just a couple of meters from the main square.
Noisy bar (Lizzard King) just neighbouring with the hotel. West-European price for East-European comfort.
Great location Huge rooms Value for money
very noisy outside
This Hotel was in a great location close to square. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good and was available from 7am until 11am. When hairdryer wasn't working it was replaced immediately. Would recommend this hotel.
Be careful of second floor rooms on courtyard with bar outside. Loud all night long! But they gladly moved us to better room.
The hotel is very classy so during your stay you can feel the atmosphere of old town Krakov, i loved the location and the building itself - the walls are 6 meters and there is a cute old fashion elevator. Brekfast is perfect
Wifi did not work in our room, so we used to go to the corridor in order to catch wifi spot. There is no heardrier in the room, the bathroom was a bit far from the room
reception and old style
Loud conversations and arguments in courtyard all night from diamond club this is no place for a brothel in middle of hotel
Just about everything! The staff were exceptional! The elevator men were so helpful!!! Everyone was!! Breakfast was delicious and enjoyed in front of an open window to the street daily!!
Beds were ok. We stayed here two different times during our travel and the first room was great but the second room was dirty and musty and smelled of smoke! But our stay was so wonderful at he beginning of of our trip that we stayed regardless! Also, our rooms were both directly over a club that was open all night! The loud noise didn't settle down until about 4am!!! This was true our first four nights of our trip as well as our return visit the last two.
central position of hotel big room
- very noise room / just to oposite of my room there was an EXCLUSIVE NR 1 GENTLEMAN*s CLUB/ so much noise till almost 4am !!! - no airconditioning in a room which is a problem in a summer / u cant open the window cause all of that noise from this Gentlemans club - I did not even have the room to the street !! / - although room has been clean it smelled a lot - closest parking is like 15 minutes by walk!! and its 50 zlotych per day -elevator did not work during my stay
Location can't be beat! Great staff excellent breakfast!
