Lovely hotel , very friendly staff in reception , very central

I booked through booking.com(as I do with all hotels) 1 month prior to stay, as I checked in, with my printed booking confirmation, there was no record on the system of the booking, but luckily this was resolved quickly :) To pay for WIFI in your room is an absolute joke, but what makes it worse, the "free" WIFI in public area's is a joke too, there is no signal. and Lastly, the hotel took money from my card, as a deposit for each day stayed with my permission, not once during "check in" I was told they would do this, I had a very embarrassing situation in a restaurant, on our last nights stay in Poznan, when I tried to pay for a meal, my card was declined, luckily my girlfriend, had some money with her. When I "checked out" I asked the lady behind the desk, did you's overcharge me for my room, as I asked for a receipt, but it was only then I was informed, that a deposit was taken from my bank card for each days stay, to which I was clearly unhappy, as I should have been notified about this, when I "checked in". The lady then said, she would refund my card, 2 days later still the money has not been refunded!!!!! would not rate this hotel 5 star

Sheraton mixed up our reservations twice and the service by the front desk women was not good really. The tiny swimming pool is not even open during opening times so dont count on that. You can find better located hotels in Poznan with better service.

the location is close to everything - that was the only thing i liked about this hotel.

the swimming pool was as small as a bath tub. the breakfast was too expensive, selection of food choices were limited.

Excellent gym. Hotel employees were polite and punctual.

Wireless internet in the room didn't work after check in. Some issue between their booking system and wireless provider. Internet price of 19€ day a bit steep with the connection speed.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. The breakfast was perfect - and especially the cakes - wonderful. This is a very good hotel in a wonderful town!

The swiming pool is just too small for a 5 star hotel....

Because we booked late during Euro 2012 Football Tournament , we payed considerably more than regular rates, However that was our choice and the hotel's facilities were excellent

Location is okay but not ideal for people who love walking around, big construction is taking place around the hotel so early morning noise can be expected but they seem to be working fast so this should be resolved soon

Comfortable rooms, good internet cable access (included in a club floor price), tasty breakfast, comfortable underground parking.

The location is great but reaching this hotel by my own car was a nightmare following to crazy road construction works. There is an information about it on the sheraton home page, but there is nothing about it when you do your reservation throughout booking.com (should be highlighted not to let you drive 30 minnutes around downtown to find a proper access). I made my reservation throughout booking.com late (at 6 pm) and when I reached the hotel 2 hours later the check-in staff had no information about my reservation at all (so watch out guys!). I could have come and hear - sorry, no free rooms! I was told that this is a foult of booking.com, is this really? I was lucky to come when the rooms are available but had to wait 10 minnutes in a lobby for a crew to proceed my booking.com reservation in the hotel system (!). Disapointing selection of snacks in a Club Lounge - snacks were limited only to a few kinds of simple pastries, fruits were not too fresh. The breakfast - I put my coffee on a wrong table and was requested to moove to another table by staff. When asked why is that, heard because the table I originally picked up was prepared for lunch (!). well it could be managed more politely and would work much nicer. The breakfast area is very tight (although the sofas are comfy) and waitresses throwing tableware into the cabinet located just by my table made it noisy experience. And lastly, if you eat and ask to write the bill to your room, please expect to be asked to go by yourself from a restaurant to a check-in desk in order to discuss it with the staff - the waitress refuses to do it as 99% hotels usually does. Strange. When I commented it to the staff during the check-out I was told this is the rule in every Sheraton (!).
