The hotel is situated in the heart of Warsaw, overlooking the historic Saxon Garden and the National Opera and just a short walk from the Royal Castle.

Presidential Palace (200 metres) – The enormous palace is a striking example of classicist palace architecture.

Old Town (400 meters) – Much of Warsaw’s historic Old Town was destroyed during World War II and the area has been carefully restored and reconstructed.

Location was very nice. Right near old town close to the shopping district. Great area to go to experience some great cultural history. The whole area is going though renovations and looks incredible considering the event that took place there so few years ago.

The hotel was overbooked. I was told that my reservation was was garanteed and was not even in their system. I did not get a room until 2:00 am after all other people were a no show or did get a room. Reception was very unfriendly and was only trying to get rid of me. Felt treated like a schoolboy and I'm not the sensitive type. I'm done with Sofitel for a while.

1. Convenient location close to Old City 2. Easy to move using public transportation (bus No 175 goes directly to the center in 5 min and to the airport in less than 40 min) 3. Flexible both in arrival and departure (not strict to 12:00 o'clock). 4. Very helpful staff

The cost of breakfast was high and was not included in the price. The swiming pool will not be available until June 2008.

The last time I booked a hotel through you in Warsaw (Le Regina) there was a cancellation policy. Here I had to leave early by one day for family reasons and I still had to pay for a vacant night.
