Nice place, hospitable workers and was indeed worth more than the payment...

It is a really good hostel, including a breakfast for that money. And the hotel staff were very kInd! I laught a lot with Agata. I am going to be there with the eurpean cups soccer the stadium is only one trainstop :D

At our arrival the receptionist was too busy with her friend and internet to take care of us or give us information. In the room there were no towels, nor the bed was done. Even if we booked matrimonial room we found separated beds and they said that if we didn't like we could go to look for another hotel. The heating in the badroom was not working (with minus 10 degrees outside). On the morning the buffet breakfast was incredibly poor (milk, cornflakes, bread and some cottage cheese), nothing more, not even to drink!! At the end the staff told us we had to clean the table and wash dishes ourselfs!!!!!!

Great location

The room wasn't clean,and a little cold..noisy place,we could hear every sound from the corridor the nextroom and the street when the midnight.

It's nothing fancy but it is a hostel after all. I stayed in my own room with my own bathroom and everything was clean.

Would be nice if the website mentioned there are no towels provided. Also the curtains weren't curtains they were bedsheets (very thin, I might add) hung up. There were not big enough for the window so I felt a little uncomfortable changing in my room.

The rooms were nicely furnished but lacked of necessary things like cupboards, hangers or mirrors which usually makes the space more comfortable, home-like and practical. Because our room wasn't equipped in all these things we had a never-ending mess as we couldn't place our clothes anywhere else than the second bed. Secondly, although we're completely sure that it wasn't the staff's fault and hostel is not responsible for the quality of its clientele, it was a little bit surprising when we found out that our food from the common fridge was stolen. The weirdest thing was that this was just rich in fat cream and open yoghurt (sic!) Finally, lack of suffcient number of toilets and bathrooms discriminates this place as a comfortable one.

Tamka Hostel is very good for people, which like to spend their time with other people. Also it's good for travelers, which need only bed for sleep. There is very nice breakfast service. Near the hostel are many interesting places like museums, parks.

Staff isn't very pleasant, the sheets are dirty and stinky!

Good breakfast - ham, cheese, bread, button, yougurt, jams, corn flakes.

I booked a room with a bathroom, but when I arrived it was said that they have no a room with a bathroom because something was broken and the room was flooded and they were not able to fix it during all 3 days of our staying. I confirmed my arrival a day before coming and they did not tell me a word about this problem. If I had knew it, I would not have gone to this hostel. Also they have not qualified staff. I was waiting for the key for 15 minutes because another guests did not agree to stay in a room without a bathroom and a boy at the recption did no know how to make a refund and he was phoning several times to someone and asked for a help. Moreover, we were asked to check out at 10.00 instead of 11.00 because they had to paint something, but fortunately they moved their paintings to the next day and we could sleep one hour more.
