The Westin Warsaw  

Good city view from the executive rooms, comp english newspaper (although they are badly stapled and tend to fall apart), executive lounge open all day for coffee/pastries plus complimentary hors d'ouvres and drinks during cocktail hour, extra 30min breakfast service for exec rooms. Enthusiastic and friendly staff in the exec lounge.

Although we were guaranteed (and had prepaid for) an executive room, we were given a standard room on the first night. Instead of the staff explaining, apologizing and being offered a refund for the difference, the night-receptionist (after taking about 10min with the checkin) just gave us a room on one of the lower floors with no explanation. When we confronted the error, he insisted that it was really the same thing. It wasn'T. When a guest reserves and pre-pays for a specified service they should be granted the service which they paid for. We had stayed at the Westin before and were looking forward to returning; but this experience was a downer (specially since it was our anniversary). In the end we had to ask for the hotel to arrange a refund for the difference, when they, as a matter of decorum, should have offered it to us along with an apology.

rooms are comfortable and clean. perfect bed and nice shower/bad.. .location of hotel is good, in the middle of 2 shoppingmalls

the prices in the hotel are overrated: coffee 5 euro, cheapest breakfast 30 euro (breakfast in coffeeshop heaven is good and close by) , internet in your room 25 euro, (in the lobby is for free). taxi service to airport 20 euro. (taxi from the street is 10 euro)

Good location (distance to city centre, central station, and sufficient restaurants in the neighbourhood). Services are excellent, very kind staff. We got an upgrade as preferred guests. Room is well-equiped (bathroom, large bed, two comformtable seats, good desk to work on).

Breakfast is too expensive (99 pln). No wifi in the room. Wired internet is too slow (10 Mbps/s) for the price you have to pay (77 pln per 24 hr).

it's a pretty nice hotel, but for a 5 star hotel I would definetely expect more:D

Free wifi internet onely in the lobby!!! baaaaaad! Not comfortable beds.

Hotel had excellent facilities and the rooms were extremely comfortable.

Quite a distance from warsaw old town but taxi was reasonably priced

The price of breakfast is definitely too high - 2 people can eat for half that price anywhere else.

Newer hotel compared to all the others. I stayed at another hotel for 4 days and it was old and outdated. Westin was very nice compared to the other hotel. Hotel food was good.

No Wifii in the rooms. Only in the lobby.
