Family hotel with more or less all the facilities you need. Friendly and helpfull hosts. Home made breakfast. 10-15 min to tram and then 15 min to old town. Beds were too soft for me but I guess it's the matter of habit.

The Manager at the Villa Maria was extremely hospitable. He asked me what time I was thinking about getting up so that he would have breakfast ready for me... I told him 6am, but I also told him not to worry about providing me with breakfast, however, he insisted. It wasn't an easy place to find, especially when you arrive at night. It is located in a residential area.

I liked its location in a peaceful neignborhood, the good facilities, the nice breakfasts, etc. It was a bit hard to find (make sure you have a map), but once you're there, it's really cosy.

The owners are very nice people, we felt like spending time with family. The place is nice, clean, there is fridge, coffee, tea, basic dish at dissposal, also we welcome small cosy garden for relax. The location is away from busy center, quite, but the centrum can be easily reached by tram, even with small child. A bed for our child was offered to us, so you don´t have to carry it with you. Last but not least, breakfast was rich and tasty. The shower was very small, my tall husband had problems to manage showering. I would also recommend to owners to buy high chair for kids feeding. Ewerithing else was perfect.

The location is great. It was close enough to downtown that you could walk or take the tram. They have their own driveway so you can park the car in behind a gate which is nice. It has a very cool B&B feel. The couple that run it are great even if they dont speak very much English.

The woman-owner (the wife) was very friendly and warm. The breakfast was good. The man-owner (the husband) was not friendly at all. Almost rude when checking-in. Also, on booking.com the place is listed as "within walking distance to the Old Town". It is not. It takes about 7 tram stops to get there from the Villa.

My sister and I stayed at Villa Maria July 2011. The welcome we got was excellent, the rooms very nice and the whole Villa was very very clean and tastefully decorated. The people who run the hotel were very obliging and nothing was too much trouble. The location was slightly further outside the City than we thought but easily accessible by tram or bus. We would stay again if we came back to Krakow.

Nice rooms. A friendly atmosphere. A very good breakfast. Information in the rooms in a lot of languages (Scandinavian too). There were also a lot of broschures available about what was going on in Polen. Some problem that the owner did not know many words in English nor in German. But that was compensated by the information mentioned above.

This was my home away from home, with everything easily on hand to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The villa is located only four tram stops from Krakow centre, with a 2.50zl ticket, and is a perfect location for a city break. Krysztof and his wife made me very welcome, as I was visiting Krakow alone, and thank them for the opportunity to practice my Polish. Breakfast is both traditional Polish food, as well as English breakfast with eggs and sausage and is very tasty. The villa has a small garden with a gazebo and is perfect for relaxing.

Room was clean and everything was comfortable. They offered cold water in the refrigerator in front of my room at any time. Breakfast was good and internet connection was easy. The location is the only problem of this pension, but I didn't have any difficulty in reaching it, and the price and their hospitality compensated the problem sufficiently.
