Witów is a really pleasant village that we are actually...
Witów is a really pleasant village that we are actually happy that we had a chance to visit. Everything is easily accessible by foot and this includes the ski fields. You have the usual shops, a couple of nice restaurants and a stop at the newly opened Morze Kawy Cafe is highly recommended for a great tasting coffee or tea. For anyone who enjoys walking in the outdoors, visiting Dolinie Chochołowskiej, the longest and largest valley in the Polish Tatra Mountains is a must. The full walk is a round trip of about 16km and although it has a few inclines, it is not difficult. Tired!! - catch a ride on a horse drawn sleigh. About 3.5 km from Witów is Chocholowskie Termy, the biggest thermal park in the region. It is located in Chocholów village and offers pool areas, spas, saunas and restaurants. It's a great way for everyone to relax and have fun.

Quite long village, great thermal baths.
Quite long village, great thermal baths. We recommend to visit Witowka restaurant. Disadvantage was that locals heat with brown coal. Car was covered with yellow dust (after 2 days) and air was unpleasant to breath.

It's very close to Chocholow Thermal Baths, and Zakopane, here in Witow there are grocery stores, 3 restaurants, a Spar shop. Zakopane is 20 minutes away, a must visit place. The house has 5 bedrooms, some bigger, some smaller, the kitchen is very spacious and very well equipped. On the first floor there is a living room with a billiard table. At the end of the courtyard there is a barbecue area and a gazebo.Bogdan CMRomania

She went out of her way to accommodate our needs and even lent us bus fare to get into Zakopane as there were no cash points in Witow. Also, we fell in love with her big dog who was such a sweetheart. Would recommend this place to anyone.EEstherPoland
