Staff were ok with a push when available.

From the start, there was no one at reception when we arrived although reception door had key in so we could just of let ourselves in. After a while someone came over but didnt seem to be expecting us. We got into our rooms eventually and was not happy with what we found. We had ordered twin rooms but all we had were doubles with a sofa which eventually turned into a bed, rooms were not 100% clean, paper was hanging of the walls and things like shower taps seemed to just fall off in our hands.As we were settling in we observed random people just walking into the hotel and also our rooms, after this we contacted booking.com to try and arrange an alternative hotel but although the agent I spoke to was very friendly and proffesional nothing could be offered locally so we decided we had to stay at the Zakatek. We spent most of our first night in Torun trying to secure another hotel in the area but without success, not what we intended to do and this kind of spoiled our first night.The hotel is advertised as being 4 km from Torun but this wasn't the case, it seemed much further than that. We also found it difficult to translate anything to the hotel staff as out of the 3 that we saw over the 3 days only 1 spoke very broken english and couldn't seem to understand what we were trying to say to them. The facilities on offer at this hotel are also not quite as they seem, we never saw most of them and as said before it was too difficult communicating with the staff, the sauna was available but what wasn't explained until we got there was that it had to be booked 2-3 hours before it was required so it could heat up and there was a 25zloty charge per person to use it. Since returning we have checked out the hotels own website and think the pictures and descriptions there leave a lot to be desired too. They end by saying "The hoteliers ensure our guests' stay is pleasant and unforgettable" unfortunately this view was not shared by ourselves.

We arrived to find a dingy hotel, place looked dead and until we found some staff. We had booked a deluxe room - well it looked dirty, wall paper peeling from the walls etc. The breakfast room we were shown was a joke, The photos I saw on your website when booking made the hotel look far more attractive than it was. We had paid in advance, however once checked in we left the key in the room and drove to find another hotel. So never stayed the 2 nights we had booked.

Miła obsługa, czysto, przytulne domki - zaopatrzone w kominki z drewnem i grile z węglem. Bliska lokalizacja Torunia, jednak raczej dla zmotoryzowanych lub cyklistów. Cicho i spokojnie.

Маленький отель, коттеджи, камин. Подходит для семьи или небольшой компании. хорош для романтики, но возможно и пьянство с шашлыком. Есть баня, по дороге магазин (работает до 7-8 вечера). Богатый завтрак, приятнейший персонал.

Lokalizacja fajna, tylko dla zmotoryzowanych. Bardzo miła obsługa. W miarę czysto. Dyskretnie. Cicho

Wyżywienie słabe. Nie ma stołówki. Raczej nastawieni na samoobsługowe domki, niż klientów "hoteliku".

Miła obsługa, dostęp do wyposażonej kuchni :czajnik, ekspres do kawy, mikrofalówka, kuchenka itp. ,Prysznic z hydromasażem
