From the moment you walk into this Boutique hotel, you are charmed. This Hotel is a restored 1900's mansion ( 21 rooms). IThe beauty of it is that they maintained the old world feel but the decor is modern and art- deco. Rooms are cozy, comfortable and clean and you have wifi and flatscreen tv etc. Loved the showers with the old world mosaic -like tile! We had a room with a balcony in which you could see the ocean, just steps away. We spend evenings on the balcony just enjoying the ocean breeze. The staff is very friendly and they have a very nice gourmet restaurant, niche in which they serve breakfast ( great coffee and pancakes!)and dinner. Also they have a very nice jacuzzi on the 2nd floor and a roof top sunbathing terrace. The parking Situation is a challenge if you rent a car. Only parking available when you find one is in the street, anywhere it is allowed. Sometimes we had to park 4-6 blocks away and walk back to the hotel. Not fun. They only have six spaces between two boutique hotels and if you reserve on time and way in advance you might get a have a parking space. Parking space is not next to the hotel either, but at another sister hotel one block down the road. When staying at this hotel, just use taxi service to get to where you want to go and besides, beaches, great restaurants, shopping and convenience stores are just walking distance away.

I loved the colored lights at night, the hot tub, the showers in the rooms, the staff's recommendations, the locations, and the name (which I also share!). This was an incredible experience. Nothing!

The grotto pool, decor, beautiful architecture, complimentary lemon water and beach chairs and towels Location was very residential and not much going on at night. The beach had rough water. Super expensive restaurant downstairs

I only stayed one night and because of circumstances it was a last minute call. From the moment I called they were helpful courteous, and from the moment I arrived I felt home. The staff was friendly and accommodating they have me a great room it was clean and cozy. It was right next to the beach and although a city beach it was very pleasant. The price was right and affordable. I would have loved to stay there longer. I recommend it. I stayed short but there was nothing I disliked at all.

Hotel was clean and friendly. The room was the size of a closet. I am 6'3 and hung off the end of bed. No elevator for moving suitcases up stairs.

Incredibly friendly staff, great view, comfortable rooms. Lobby is beautiful and the decor has a wonderful vibe. The restaurant is yummy. Both the rooms and food are a bit overpriced.

The staff were incredibly helpful, courteous and kind; the hotel was literally two minutes from the beach; the hotel itself was unique and stylish while also being very, very comfortable. There's a sorry lack of good restaurants around Acacia. The hotel in the restaurant is gourmet, but it also seems like it might be prohibitively expensive for a lot of travelers.

I liked the hot tub and the general ambiance of the hotel. $20 for a martini, $9 for a bottle of beer, $540 for a pork chop $14 for a glass of wine...all are outrageous.

The hot tub and roof top deck provide a private oasis. In the hotel common areas there is a lovely tranquil atmosphere. The beach is steps away from the hotel. The switch on one of the lamps in my room was broken and the lamp could not be used. The hair dryer in the room was broken. They did provide another hair dryer. The unattractive curtains were blackout curtains and had wholes.

The architectural style was charming. The staff, especially Yanira, who checked us in after a particularly challenging day of travel, were all so accommodating. The lobster salad I had at NIche was memorably delicious. The proximity to the ocean was a nice surprise. The dimness of the lobby lighting at night was offputting and the dinner menu was a expensive for such a modestly priced hotel. Also the darapes in my room were stained. These were minor issues; I would definitiely recommend the Acacia to my friends

Service at Acacia was beyond compare. Michelle at the front desk was so helpful and kind. Even though there is no overnight person the staff at their sister hotel, Windchime Inn, are willing to come help out when needed. The room with a balcony was wonderful but did not have a private balcony - it was the entry to the rooms. It was nice that they had chairs to sit on though.

The hot tub is huge and overlooks the beach. It takes two seconds to walk to the beach, they even have chairs and coolers you can borrow (first come, first serve). The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Our room (207) had a strange layout. One long, skinny room with 4 single beds. Our King bed was just 2 singles pushed together, pretty uncomfortable. The lobby is freezing!

Location was good if you are looking for links to the beach. Too far from airport to be considered an airport hotel and too far from San Juan to be a city hotel.....we couldn't find much in the area. We had a terrible room- I paid for a Deluxe room and ended up with a lower level space with no windows- frankly it was miserable and a waste of money. I'd pay half of what I did for my room and feel it was value for money.

I loved the location and size of the hotel. I also liked that the front door had controlled access. The whirlpool on the second floor was lovely as well. The bed was too firm for my liking.

Very disappointing. The floors were dirty, the curtains stained, the sheets cheap and rough, and rooms around courtyard are subjected to noisy guests until all hours. Not to mention the fact that I woke up with several bites...God knows what from! We would never stay here again.

Room was comfortable. Maids were very good. Very close to beach. The neighborhood has a good selection of restaurants and bars. Reception did not inform us of some amenities. Restaurant hours irregular, no coffee available some mornings. No tables on balconies or on sun deck. Really quite poor in terms of customer service perspective. The beach at this location has dangerous currents.
