Proximity to the beach Staff were very helpful Really nice waiter in the restaurant
Loved the roof top balcony and the hot tub. And also our room balcony overlooking the hot tub. Very romantic and charming hotel.
Not far from old town
It's a motel type of a "hotel" You have to carry your luggage upstairs. There is no elevator or bell boy
Staff and location is great!
No lift; very dark place; bathroom needs serious attention; room very musty. No shops and restaurants nearby, only on-site, but very expensive and not catering for travellers arriving from far
The staff were very helpful in the effort to find good local food and trying to arrange for a tour.
WiFi was spotty and problematic. No place to secure our luggage upon early arrival. We did leave it in lobby as did many other guests with no trouble. The king bed was actually two twins pushed together and we're not properly made (two twin bottom fitted sheets were not used) instead the staff made the bed with a flat sheet for bottom and it would not stay put. There was also a small stain on sheet where I slept that made me uncomfortable. The ceiling fan was filthy so we chose not to use it and had to deal with very noisy air conditioning unit that kept my husband up mist of the night. When we got up early to check out there was nobody in the lobby to get us a taxi or to check us out. I had to go into the restaurant kitchen and ask chef to rake my room key and call a cab. Very troubling that nobody stayed on site 24 hours. It was a very adorable place beyond these issues.
Great location, walking distance to many restaurants and use of the bus system. The beach is half a block away. Borrow beach chairs at no charge. It's quiet, clean, looks terrific and has a wonderful pool- size hot tub. Convenient restaurant.
The decor is beautiful. Near the beach.
Restaurant is overpriced and meals are small portions and bland.
Location is decent, bed comfy. Like the small boutique feel.
Overall San Juan has too many taxes and overpriced given hotel comfort. This place is included. Be ready for a laundry list of charges, and ready if you lose anything.. they will charge you and make you sign for it. Come on people give us 3 keys, and then charge us for the inconvenience? Why not putting in NFC readers, and having the ability to use them and recycle them? Heck if I ever lost those keys! Check in was egregious. I left my number, and he never called. I went down and saw a line of 5-8 couples waiting at noon! I am certain someone got a room before us!
My fiancé and I have stayed at around 30 hotels in Puerto Rico in the past year. So I can confidently say that for the price this hotel was one of the good ones. I deffinitely recommend this hotel especially if you're on a budget. This hotel is cozy, has everything you need plus a huge hot tub on the roof that's beautiful.
The room is a bit small if you're traveling with children. Other than that nothing was wrong.
The staff service was excelent
The bed was unconfortable
They attended to our needs almost always immediately. The staff is kind and professional.
No parking unless you know to reserve in advance. If you don't then it's a nightmare to find parking nearby. We spent 2 hours our first day looking for parking.
The rooms were very comfortable, the staff was very accommodating, the restaurant had a great breakfast, the closeness to the beach was great.
The street had a sign labeling it a robbery and assault area, the restaurant was pricey for the portions, no continental breakfast, people seemed to take turns copulating in hot tub, rendering it unusable.
There's nothing NOT to like about this place... And the restaurant, Nichè, is excellent!!!
There was nothing I didn't like...
Staff felt very detached
Very good location in a calm residential area, bur close to charming breakfast places and to condado night life. The nicer beaches are a little walk away.Rooms are neat but old. Great staff, always ready to help. WeRecomend this hotel.
It was a beautiful place. The room was small but cozy. Perfect for a romantic getaway. The wading pool was amazing. The view was perfect with the veranda facing the beach. If you get a chance stay here and enjoy paradise!!!
No elevator!!! Walking up the stairs with a ton of luggage in the humidity was not fun at all!!!!
nice atmosphere and decor, great custom-built heated pool, very close walk to the beach
Small rooms. We could barely lay 2 suitcases flat on the ground to open them.
We arrived late after a full day of traveling from California and tired. Check-in was a breeze...luggage was taken up to our room and we settled in for a nightcap at Niche. Service here is white-glove and the warmth of the staff carries over in every area. Loved our stay and the experience was a wonderful way to start our vacation!
Staff was very helpful when the first room provided was not satisfactory. The hotel is very close to the beach and walking distance to a number of nice cafés.
The first deluxe room we were offered was a handicap accessible room with barely any lights and no windows looking to the outside. Also every room on the first floor looks into a wall. After taking to the front desk we were moved to a third floor queen balcony. The view was partial beach, mostly blocked by a large condo, and this is the best view you can get. Also the size of the room could barely fit two people and suitcases, and had a noisy air conditioning. I would try another hotel next time.
I loved this hotel! They really lived up to the island beauty! The views were gorgeous and the hotel was comfortable. When we go back to San Juan we will definitely stay here. Although the rooms were small, they were cozy and perfect.
They didn't have an elevator and we had a third floor room and lots of luggage! It was super hot and my poor husband had to go up the stairs several times.
When I arrived no body was in the building. All they have is a paper to call to another hotel. Two hotels... one person in charge! Ridiculous.
close to beach
Close to a great beach.
During check-in, we were made feel very welcomed and at home. The whole hotel has a great ambiance. We will definitely stay there again when in San Juan.
Nothing. Everything was great.
