Clean room, nice views of the beach.

Although right on the water, no access to the beach directly from the hotel. Room lighting was a bit dim, and the ac worked great but the remote control was not functioning.

The owner, Fred, was a super host. Spanish and English speaking; lovely family. Full of great suggestions for visiting the area; helpful with anything you needed. The room was right on the Caribbean/Atlantic Ocean. . literally. Sleeping to the sound of the waves or sitting on the patio watching the paddle boarders, surfers and/or local fisherman was awesome. Fantastic tv reception - modern design of the rooms was great. Having a bar and restaurant on site was also a big plus. Secure parking and a security system was also reassuring visiting off the mainland usa. Close to main routes of travel to see surrounding cities and beaches was great. If you're looking for a true Puerto Rico experience - this is perfect.

The room lacked a dresser, closet or bathroom shelving for personals. And, although right on the water, not truly a walking/sunbathing beach.

It was nice and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpfull.

We felt like it was overpriced. It was more staying like in hostel not hotel.

Great place to stay with a local feel of the small town of Aguada! Excellent ocean views and great staff!

I really liked the familiarity and friendliness of the staff. They made us feel as part of their family.

The owner was very pleasant, he let me check in at 3:00 in the morning since my plane landed at that time at the local airport. The price is great and the food even better! I had a room that overlooked the ocean and had a very pleasant stay.

Tanto la ubicacion del hotel como la atencion del dueno y el personal fue formidable. En adicion, unas langostas acabaditas de pescar exquisitas, hasta con las manos la disfrutamos, se las recomiendo. La vista al mar con el ruido de las olas.

Primeramente, el precio del hotel es muy alto para la calidad y el servicio del mismo. Durante mi estadia hubo un insidente en el que la habitacion se inundo; dañandome un DVD player, y dandome un mal rato en mi paseo. Ademas del insidente, no hubo una ratificacion por parte de la gerencia, con respecto al insidente. En conclucion, no recomendaria ni a mi peor enemigo este hotel.

Preis leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht, sauberkeit und einrichtung ungenügend. Matratze im bett ist mit einer plastikschutzfolie überzogen die bei jedem umdrehen im bett laut ist und schweissausbrüche erzeugt. Die klimaanlage im zimmer #2 befindet sich neben dem kopfteil das sehr unpraktisch ist.

Las habitaciones son muy comodas y limpias. Los matres son un poco duros y las sábanas se ven bastante gastadas y anticuada.

Quién nos recibió fue el dueño del hotel. Fue muy amable pero nunca nos dio un papel para firmar y al momento de abandonar el hotel no había nadie quién nos atendiera y tuvimos q dejar la.llave en la habitación para poder irnos. En ningún momento había personal por sí se ofrecía algo y su.que tiene la playa a sólo pasos es una playa muy sucia y rocosa.

The owner / manager, Freddy, is very nice, and wants to help. Friendly bar scene, as guests swapped stories about their holidays, and about the hotel. Colourful, hostel type place, if booked at the right price.

We booked a two bedroom "villa with ocean view". The room fell short, missing out on the promised Balcony, Patio, Sea view, Private entrance, Bathtub, Hairdryer, Refrigerator (which went in on request). Walls unfinished concrete, mostly bare bulbs for lights, water barely hot, see through curtains to the land side, no curtains at all on the ocean side, ocean view obscured by dirty windows, a less-than-quiet drain pipe running through the room. A few lampshades still in their plastic. Towels completely threadbare, and holed. Wifi everywhere was actually Wifi in lobby and bar. We told Freddy this was not the room that we had booked. He was sympathetic, but did not seem to feel responsible in any way. I don't know where the advertised villas are? Which left us feeling ripped off... We left early, and got the unused part refunded. Impression was of a hotel functioning under stress - lack of staff the main problem. Hope they sort it out.

Friendly owner. Very clean, well-kept facility. Large balcony overlooks ocean. The hotel sits right above the ocean. You can hear the waves crashing down from your room. The room is private and quiet with nice bedding, a small fridge and working a/C. The setting is romantic. I loved the place!

The step-up to bathroom may be difficult for some. The dinner service is a little slow. Owner's going to get more staff. This section is for serious surfers or those comfortable with some rocks. Calmer area is about a mile away.

Tiene una vista espectacular, especialmente si te ubican en el segundo nivel. Empleados atentos. Esta ubicado en un lugar muy accesible. Excelente para ir a descansar o de fin de semana, con la familia o en pareja..

The hotel is just for a couple of sleepovers, nothing fancy, although the morning view was spectacular

It should have a microwave in the room, maybe something to hang clothes, not a closet perse, just a nook would suffice

The owner is very friendly and helpful. Hotel is small but clean, and the sea view is stunning.

Depending on your preference, the wave sounds might be a bit distracting while trying to sleep. Look for a sign that appears to read "Hotel Atlantis;" it actually reads "Hotel Columbus - Atlantis Restaurant," but Columbus is written in a small font!
