Location if you like staying close to Old San Juan My wife, child and me stayed in your hotel for 1 night. We were very disappointed with hotel's service. Arriving after a bumpy flight from New York we had no electricity all evening and we had no running water in the morning. Wi-fi didn't work, we couldn't watch tv and bathe. Despite telling all that to the receptionist we were fully charged for our stay.

I liked the location, the comfort and quality. The staff was exceptional I didn't like the fact that when we were thinking about staying there again at the end of our vacation, it seemed as though they were trying to gouge us. Come on, $231 for a room with two beds. Insane

My room, main concierge (Claudio), housekeeping, pool. My room, although lovely, was on a noisy corner. Rude waiter in DR at b'fast.

I liked the feel of a small hotel. The size was just right. The pool was also just the right size for us. The hotel was charming. Not many amenities, but charming. Wish they served a continental breakfast. They advertise a small bar onsite. Our stay was 7 days and the bar was only open two evenings. There was no schedule for the bar so one never knew if it was going to be open or not. It was nice the evening we stayed in and had a few drinks on site. They really should work on making that a daily evening bar.

Super helpful staff. Really nice pool and a very big room. Location to mass transit and a gorgeous beach half a block away. The window next to the bed had a curtain but not a shade, small complaint not a huge deal.

The hotel had a nice flair of Old San Juan , but it's not a hotel for a family stay . It's geared more towards a couples hotel. I was not please when I arrived there was no parking the area is really run down with abandoned vacated buildings. It was not fit a for a family stay. I attempted to cancel on site, and the staff member could not make a decision to cancel without management. I hot stuck staying at the hotel and was very uncomfortable .

Walking distance to the beach and dining, and easy access to bus to Old San Juan. The staff was friendly, especially Luis at Niche, the restaurant at the sister hotel Acacia a few doors down. No deadbolt on room door. Stain ed pillowcase, furniture in poor condition, window did not seal closed so it was easy for bugs to get in. The bathroom was not clean. I had an early flight and needed to check out at 3 A.M. The desk was unattended so I called the desk. Fortunately, the desk clerk was sleeping in a room near the front desk. He was nice enough once he woke up.

The localisation was great, just 2 minutes walk from the beach and facilities. It was a pretty place with a small but nice pool and a bar if you want to have a drink. It was calm. Our shower didn't work well and, if you stay longer, the absence of breakfast could be disturbing.

I've stayed at At Wind Chimes several times, and it has always been great. I saw some not so good reviews on Trip Advisor and they were nothing at all like what I have experienced. Wonder of other hotels are posting nasty stuff. I loved it there and it's close to Old San Juan (with a car). Clean, comfortable, cozy, great staff. I have never had a negative experience there. Except I got a parking ticket (sometimes there is no close parking; I would have saved money paying to park in their lot)

It is affordable and conveniently located in the suburbs of San Juan. Old San Juan is just a bus ride away (the 53 or the 21). The staff is very friendly. The room we were in was not only dark, as I had read in other reviews, but also dank. Dang dank. It smelled like an old closet; the air was heavy with moisture, as is the case with the tropics, but the room had air conditioning. It also wouldn't hurt to be able to open the windows to get some fresh air. Alas, our room's windows had transparent plastic screens on the inside. Everything feels and smells wet. If humidity doesn't bother you, then go for it. It's a good value.

Nothing but the helpfull girl at the reception. Everything. Seriously , worst value for money I have encountered. Someone got confused and called this neglected hostel a boutique hotel. Rooms full with molt smell ,very dirty, dusty. The shower drape full of stanes, sink full of rust. This is the first time I write a review because it was really horrible. Dont get near this place.
