The location was good, but way overpriced for what we got. A very big disappointment. We had a dark, damp room, and were without water for a day.

The property is very lovely... it is one short block from a gorgeous beach and about a 5 to 7-minute walk from the shops and restaurants in the Condado. Really wonderful location! For the price, I expected the rooms to be a little more comfortable and luxurious. I didn't feel that the accommodations warranted the price. That being said, I enjoyed my stay and would come back again, although I'd probably stay in Old San Juan next time.

It was noisy. there were dogs barking in the rooms for hours during the night.evidently left there while its masters went out for the evening. I had to move to the Acacia. it was quieter there.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our desk clerk suggested places to eat where the locals frequent and didn't just push the restaurant at the "sister" hotel. Our clerk also allowed us to leave our packed suitcases at the hotel after checkout while we went for lunch. Although the hotel provided coffee at the bar in the morning, I would have enjoyed some juice and maybe a pastry.

Simple clean hotel 3 minute walk to the beach. Needs modern room facilities. Looks like they haven't left the 80'S.

The hotel was a charming Mediterranian-style building with clean, stylish rooms. The staff were friendly and spoke perfect English. Also, we loved the hotel cat, Coco! Sweet boy. The staff, while charming and helpful, is the most disorganized I've ever seen at a hotel. When we arrived, the front-desk lady couldn't buzz us in because she was talking on the phone, and couldn't seem to solve this multi-tasking problem. Then she couldn't find the reservation in the computer. Then she couldn't find the keys. Then the computer was slow. The next morning, when we tried to check out (at the reasonable hour of 9am), there was no one at the desk. So we called the sister property to send someone over to help us. We saw the staff member a few minutes later trying and failing to get into the hotel--she didn't have a front door key. Also, Condado isn't a very interesting neighborhood. Why leave home for Fudruckers, Starbucks, and condo highrises?

It was very conveniently located to the beach, freeway and local cafes. The rooms were pretty basic and small but I spent most of the time on the beach so it was fine. There are no amenities at the hotel but it's sister hotel, Acacia, is across the street and it has a bar and small restaurant.

The wind chimes location was fabulous. Very close to all the condado area restaurants. The room's condition (bed, amenites, bathroom furniture) was to the bare minimal and I expected a little more given its cute exterior.

The room and bathroom was too small. Could have paid less than half of what we paid at another guest house. No vending machines, even for water, had to go out to buy water. Room's location was not the best, a few feet away from the reception area and could hear every sound and the traffic.

Front desk clerk was very helpful. Rooms and general architecture were very quaint and authentic. Pillow top mattress would have helped the very hard bed. We had an inside facing room, but our travel mates had a street facing room and complained that there was a lot of noise from motorcyles and loud vehicles well into the night. The sister hotel, the Acacia, was just down the street and would be our first choice next time.

The guy in the reception was very helpful and very friendly. This was my fourth stay at this hotel and he is I think an excellent addition to the friendly team. I had ordered [one] dinner from the hotel restaurant at the boat bar. After waiting at the bar I wentup to my room. I asked bartender to charge the food to my room. The bartender said that he would do so with a suspicious big smile. Next morning when I was checking out I found out that I was billed twice for the same dinner - one from the restaurant and same amount from the bar. It is of course not so nice. I recalled the bartender's big smile - and realize that he also had big $ signs in his eyes.. :).. Next time, I will surely avoid this old and bald bartender...

It's in the middle of nowhere, the surroundings are dark, the hotel hasn't even an umbrella to help you carrying your luggage to and from the taxi, nobody there helps you. Really disappointing. Please don't book this hotel.

Like that it was in a real neighborhood that was not some big resort. Close enough to the tourist area's and one block from the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My sister had a big problem sleeping with noise from street traffic.

Hotel is really good with one important failure - there isn´t internet connection ( wi-fi) anywhere else than only in the lobby ,where is still very poor. But wi-fi is present on your web site and it is not true ! In 21st century it´s a standard ! if I knew it I´m not book it ! I think it´s not about substantial money to do wi- fi for all rooms !
