Very convenient location, comfy room, good facilities and front of house staff were very friendly and helpful.
Wouldn't have paid the extra for the partial sea view.
Convenient location, downfall it's very loud... pool is extremely outdated
Pipes above room busted, staff was friendly and helpfull.. very accommodating
The ocean view was amazing. Close access to the beach (2 minute walk). Several shops/restaurants in close proximity (Starbucks only 1 block east!).
I upgraded to a suite seeing as how it was where my family was waking up for Christmas morning. There was a "bedroom", but no door to it!! And the way the living room (pull-out) sofa was positioned, the glass wall (looking toward the beach) acted like a mirror into our bedroom, so there was NO PRIVACY from our kids! There was a mildew smell throughout. The shower was old and tiny. The buffet breakfast was below average at best (rubbery eggs, no bacon, bad coffee).
To xpensive for two nights ... $492.00 ... and we are locals ...
Staff were very kind and helpful. They've always been ready -with a big smile!- for your questions or requests. We arrived early in the morning and Jihan kindly helped us to Check in right away and led us for the breakfast. She also arranged to postpone our check out for two hours and keep our luggage a couple of extra hours as well. Their complimentary breakfast was addressing every taste in our family and being served until the last minute (I guess coffee and hot water were 24hours). Room cleaning was awesome and they were willing to help for your needs of extra towels or garbage removal or other things at any time . The hotel has 24 hour fitness room and outdoor pool with heater (for cold nights). Location was perfect and safe enough; 1 1/2 min form beach (you get complimentary towel and portable chair from the front desk) in the middle of plenty of different type restaurants and two 24/7 big grocery stores. If you like to walk, in half an hour you'll get to the old San Juan or you may take a cheap but unreliable bus. or taxi which is always available at the front door.
Noisy air conditioner in the room. City struggles with stinky homelessness and poor public transport system. Plenty of police officers in the touristic areas to guarantee your safety. Doesn't matter if they're patrolling on foot, on motorcycle or cruise, they're busy with their iPhone 6's with earbuds listening to something. So in case of emergency don't waste your voice or gesture. just send them a text or facebook IM! Generally everybody is obsessed with smartphone there. so don't be surprised to see many cars had head-on crashes!
Had to ask for bath mat one day. Next day dirty one left on floor and no clean bath towels were provided. Mildew in shower.
Location, facilities/gym, room, breakfast... Restaurant and bar. Excellent staff. It has everything a hotel should have.
Parking is $13/day.
The breakfast was good. Easy access to the beach and surrounding restaurants. Not far from major site seeing locations.
Nice stay, bang for your buck.
No hot tub! Some days
Our suite was impressively large with an expansive water view and a very large balcony with an extremely large glass wall separating suite from balcony. There was enough storage space to stay for months! Breakfast was more than adequate and the lobby area is quite pleasant along with the staff.
The suite needed updating years ago! Gloomy lighting added to the depressing feeling in the suite. Some pictures or wall hangings would add much, not to mention the furniture. The kitchen was really unimpressive! No towel or soap or sponge or ANYTHING you would expect. We purchased the missing items. Not even a glass was in our suite! The fire alarm waking and frightening ALL guests at 12:30 AM was disconcerting - and then it misfired 3 more times during our 10 day stay. We spent time looking for another hotel to move to, but during Christmas/New Year's holiday we had no success. Without updating the rooms, we would not return in the future!
Confort de l'hôtel
THE paper under the door on the morning with a higher privé!!!
bed is comfortable. Hotel lobby is nice and right at Condado allow us to just walk to eat and enjoy without worrying about parking and traffic.
House keeping did not happen three days in a six days stay. First day we came be late at night and was surprised to see it not cleaned. Told the front desk people about it and just asked for towels. Second day, still no house keeping late in the afternoon and again told them to clean the room while we had dinner. Last day, it happened again. Even when they did clean it, we had to ask for towels and replacement of supplies almost every day. Food choices at breakfast were limited. Traffic was a mess during the weekend with events on both nights at Condado.
It was close to the beach Staff was great
Too much noise on the weekends from local clubs nearby. Not ideal for small children.
1-bedroom suite has great ocean views from the balcony if you're on a higher floor. New, modern furniture in the living room and bedroom. Bed was clean and very comfortable. It was awesome to lay in bed and see views of the ocean in the morning. Nice and clean lobby area as well. Excellent location near many restaurants, beach, and night life.
Very awkward floor layout in the 1-bedroom suite facing the ocean with a very tiny bathroom and ridiculously small kitchen (clearly some sort of closet converted into a kitchen). There were no drawers in this "kitchen" and staff just lays out cups, plates, and silverware on top of the counter. Very weird. Both wife and I banged into fridge and door while turning around. While bedroom and living room furniture was new-ish, carpet was old and dirty looking. All these combined made me think it wasn't worth the price. Rooms on the tall tower are on a main avenue, which was cool if you're interested in watching the crowd, but expect it to be noisy at night. What really annoyed me was the daily 20% fee (yes, percent!) they tackle on to the "regular" price. I found it outrageous, but it seemed to be a theme among hotels in this area.
Loved being so near the beach; competent and helpful staff. A bit far from Old San Juan, but good taxi service. Quiet neighborhood even though so near the "tourist hotel" area.
The breakfast was great. Staff was ver nice.
The price became expensive after all the extra taxes and tariffs which I was never told about.
The cost of the parking
I liked basically everything about it. You could be anonymous , ask for anything and they would go out of their way to assist you. The breakfast was always fresh.
Friendly staff, great location, daily breakfast and super fast wifi!
Excellent property. Excellent location. Excellent price.
The only thing wrong with the rooms are that you cannot take baths because of "security" (verbatim from front desk) . Who knows? Fear of Al Qaeda getting bath technology?
We stayed there for a week. Excellent location, friendly staff, absolutely value for money.
Everything, the staff was great. They made us feel like we were the only guests in the place.
There was a wide range for breakfast. The location was just fantastic, with a variety of other places to eat, sight see and shop. Very comfortable. Taxi rates to the mall was good.
The crew at the front desk were most friendly and helpful with directions and suggestions of what to see, etc.
I liked the complimentary breakfast. The room and wifi were excellent. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.
I did not like the state of the bathroom. The tiles were not as clean as I would have expected.
