Hotel Bolivar  

It were cockroachs in the room (big ones). There were no water in the sink. I want my money back!

The hotel did not respect the reservation I made. I booked three single rooms but I only had one with three beds.

Habia cucarachas en las habitacionea, la hubicacion no es el centro, el precio es muy caro en relacion al servicio que brindan, solo tenes que pagar en efectivo, realmente es pesimo

The only I like from there is the place is closed to plaza las americas mall

I get you get what you pay for but this was a bit to much. The staff was friendly that I can say but the room looked barely kept after. The bathroom had a missing shower door. Missing drawers in the cabinet. Used lotion was left out and someones pils were left in the medicine cabinet.. 1 towell was left and a mosquito squatter I booked 2 days but changed to 1 day and found another hotel.

Very nice and helpful staff. Big room.

Not well located though as close than other hostels like posada Very quiet compared to hostel palace. (do not stay at hostel palace btw this is the worst place i've stayed at so far in my international travels)

因航原因午夜到达，接待老者不懂英语，简单收拾后准备洗澡，发现没有毛巾、没有浴巾、没有杯子、没有饮水设- 备、没有洗浴用品，再找老者已不见，只好清水冲澡后等凉干，好在本人带了牙具，第二天询问，上述东西全有且- 配齐，但电视仍是摆设。房子陈旧较脏，尤其衣柜和抽屉，不知何时留下的杂物，根本无法使用，因已交钱且大部- 分时间外出，姑且勉强忍受了四天。

this was the worst hotel I've ever visited. it was dirty and smelly. I paid $120.00 for a two room studio, which was not available, so the owner put me in this super small room. He gave me a $50 refund. I would have left but there were no other reasonably priced hotels. Thank goodness I only stayed one night. The shower wad so dirty I didn't shower the morning I checked out. Awful hotel!!

Very Friendly staff, someone brought us for a good price to the rental company for a car, he searched untill we found it and waited to see if everything was ok...

We couldn't get internet. Unlike written on this website, there is none, allthough staff was chatting on Facebook and we saw it. Everything is very old and there were a lot of huge insects in the room+ hair in the bathroom Last year I backpacked through Peru and Bolivia... We paid maximum 10€ for a room similar to this... so I am used to these conditions but not for this price:

I liked absolutely nothing about Hotel Bolivar.

Many things went wrong with our attempt to stay at Hotel Bolivar. First, we had reserved a room ahead of time and they had my name down with the reservation and the price; however, they had decided to give the room away to someone else even though we were not late. There were no more rooms technically left in the Hotel and it we were left with no where to stay at night in San Juan. Then, they decided to give us the one room with no fan. It was loud all night and extremely hot. Cockroaches were abound on the floor of the room and throughout the halls of the hotel. Finally, hotel bolivar offers free 'private parking'. We were instructed by the hotel owner where to park and where this 'private parking' was, only the find the next day that we had a parking ticket. When I asked why we were directed to park there, the hotel attendant said everyone gets a ticket in the location we parked (hotel bolivar's "private parking") and he suggested to not pay the ticket. From beginning to end Hotel Bolivar was a terrible introduction to the country and an endless frustration. I would not recommend staying there under any circumstances. Save the +$70 and sleep in your car over staying in this hotel.

The bus was only .50 cents to get to old san juan.

It was old run down in the hood meaning the ghetto they require you to leave your key when you step out, the owner claimed I would be close to all sites no way it was hot it smelled for 130 bucks a night not worth it at all it was a lie and I was very upset I left the next day on Easter Sunday very frustrated and didn't feel safe..

Nothing. This was the absolute dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed at. I love visiting Puerto Rico but would not recommend this property to anyone.

Poor a/c system. No top sheet on bed. Found silver fish in room and bathroom. Tv didn't work. Floors were dirty and we had to leave the hotel key every time we left the hotel. As such we didn't leave our bags in the room and took them with us.
