El Canario by the Lagoon (泻湖畔萨尔瓦多卡纳里奥酒店)  

Location was perfect. 5 minute walk to the beach - near La Concha Hotel. 75 cent bus ride will get you to Old San Juan. 15 min walk to Plaza del Mercado. Near bars, restaurants and a Walgreens.

Taxi rides are ridiculously expensive. Good seafood (fresh) and salads are hard to find.

Helpful staff. Great location. Breakfast included.

The elevator

I liked that it was blocks away from Condado Beach and Ashford Street which is a super hot nightlife spot

The staff is kinda mean but they do help if you just ask. You should not have to be afraid of people at a hotel counter. Not all were mean, just like one and a half.

Asked for a taxi to IslaGrande. Was charged $20 which seemed too much. Not sure if this was a state taxi or just a friend. We forgot to ask how much it should be. Seeing as we had paid $20 to get to the hotel from Munos Marin we thought it should be less to get to Isla Grande.

Reception staff Mathilda was exceptionally friendly and helpful! Location was very good for everything. Area seemed very safe as well.

Only one man in reception at the late night we arrived was rude and unhelpful. First night room floor was dirty but afterwards everything was kept very clean and nice.

Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was decent.

Parking was a problem. There was a path on each side of the hotel wide enough for a car to fit in. You had to give your keys to the front desk because other cars need to park in back of you. I was also concerned about the security of our car.

The front desk staff was one of the rudest service industry workers I have come across in all my travels.

Only stayed overnight, left nxt morning, but convenient to cars, however not to the buss due to narrow street, we walked to the end of the block to board. However, was a pleasant walk to the beach nearby, but was too early to shop (it was a Tues night Wed morning).

Cheap and basic great for night stop over before a cruise

The location was fine to end our week cruising .

The front staff in the evening was not very friendly or helpful. The morning staff was better. Room quite noisy due to wind ratting the doors used towels to jam in doors.

Quiet small hotel. Good breakfast dining room.

No electric outlet in bathroom.

i choose this hotel because of the price, the location is ... perfect, close to the main street and close to old san juan. rooms are big with a small terrace. breakfast is not huge but OK very good quality/price the only downside is the noise from the airconditionning during the night.

Booked it for the price and selected a queen bed. Pleasantly surprised when we got there that we were put on the top floor with a nice room, a separate private covered patio with table, microwave, and fridge, plus right outside the door was the roof patio area with lounges.

Helpfulness and friendliness of the staff varied. Of the four we encountered, two were great and two were poor. Breakfast pastries ran out both mornings, leaving us with cereal, toast, bananas, and apples.

Breakfast, and central location

C'est très agréable,de trouver quelq'un qui parle le créole, gentille et sa spontanéité.le petit déjeuner est très famille, je n'aime pas la foule et je n'étais pas déçu.parcontre,le parking est un peu juste.il manque un peu d'ambiance,de dialogue avec les clients et un petit bar serait idéal quand on rentre à l'hotel ainsi qu'un pot de bienvenue.charmant petit hotel,le dernier étage est génial pour une famille ou un groupe.

La sortie du parking,et l'eau du lagon qui monte dans la rue.

Das Hotel überrascht schon im Eingangsbereich durch Sauberkeit und gepflegter Gestaltung. Dieser erste positive Eindruck bestätigte sich in den 14 Tagen. Nette Rezeptionsmitarbeiter und Personal erfüllten Bitten immer zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Als Mittelklassehotel in einem gehobenen Umfeld San Juan-Condado und Nähe zum hervorrragenden Strand ( ca. 250 m) ist dieses Hotel zu empfehlen. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt!
