Score from 23 reviews Wonderful
Limited breakfast.very hard to find at night. Nothing else nearby.
Feeling of being away from it all
The breakfast was great. I loved all the tropical fruits.
breakfasts were mediocre, coffee was fair
great deck, we used the grill each nite to cook dinner
A bananaquit was building a nest outside our room.
The location and the view from the deck
The wi-fi signal is a little weak in some rooms but is easily accessible from the lounge area.
The Ceiba Country Inn definitely exceeded our expectations. The staff is always available and very friendly. The animals on site are just as friendly and very well behaved. All the rooms are spotless and well maintained. The view and location was unbelievable, perched on top of a mountain allowing you to see all the way to the coast. We will be returning here on our next trip and we would highly recommend this place to anyone that likes serene, quiet and relaxing accommodations.
In nature but close to roads. Beautiful views and location. Amazing sounds of the jungle at night.
Soundproofing could be a bit better, althought it wasn't so big deal. Breakfast could be served a bit later.
Friendly staff, comfortable bed, refrigerator in the room, nice cafe-bar and a beautiful view from it's terrace. Some nice details; beach towels ready to take with in a bag, nighttime light in the bathroom, friendly dogs, fundraising box for homeless dogs shelter. And wi-fi was ok also in the room.
Beautiful house and room with an amazing view on the hills and the ocean from the dining room & balcony. Breakfast was great, staff was friendly and helpful. Room was big (with a huge bed), nice and clean. The location is in a small village (about 15-20 mins drive from Fajardo), up on a hill, surrounded by the forest (beautiful palm trees in the garden) - quite and peaceful.
Loaf bread for breakfast - when I'm in PR, I want pan de agua and pastelillo de guayaba!
Easy to find if you know how to get around in PR - lovely fruit for breakfast - friendly dogs for company - and lots of coquis for nighttime atmosphere and good sleeping!
A little musty smelling. Hard to avoid in a humid rainforest setting but none-the-less.
beautiful location even if my rental car didn't love the hill. Friendly and helpful staff and staff puppies. Big bathroom and warm shower. Free breakfast and wifi are always a plus.
Location, staff, accommodation.
Very friendly and courteous.
The dogs can be a little overbearing. They like to jump on you a lot. They are sweet though.
It was beautiful and isolated. Breakfast was great.
There are no good restaurants in Ceiba, you will have to go to Fajardo (15 to 20 minutes by car). The pool is not yet open, that will be a major improvement during the day. The rooms have no TV. Room rates are therefor too high.
The rooms are nice and clean but there is no TV to kill the time at night. The Inn is on a mountain with a nice view in the middle of nature. Good road signs to find the Inn.
Steep hill up to the house
Friendly Dogs, view, rooms are spacious, modern and clean.
Not too much to do in Ceiba area.
The views, the staff, possibility of going to natural waterfall for swimming (charco frío).
beautiful vistas, friendly & attentive owners, lovely breakfast offerings, spacious & clean room
It is a relaxing place tucked away in the rainforest. Even though it feels remote, it still is not difficult to access fajardo, el yunque, or other things on the eastern part of the island. They have friendly dogs to welcome you back every evening. The bed was comfortable too. The breakfast was nice, with local eggs, fresh fruits, and homemade breads.
The coffee, the view, the short distance from El Yunque (our destination), the propritor's recommendations and helpfulness.
I didn't love how far it was from everything, we arrived around dinner time and would have had to travel a half hour for food, so we ate snack instead.
I liked the view you can see from the deck and the games in the room. Breakfast was amazing.
Great views, free home made breakfast, exceptional staff
I would've liked a few walking trails through the grounds. A coffee machine in the room was missed, though I'm not sure how often we would've used it during our stay.
That view! The entire place is just lovely though. Our room was huge, with plenty of space to relax. The common areas were also large, especially the outdoor patio and dining area. The breakfast was a good assortment of fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, juices and home-baked breads (pear and walnut and banana breads and a scone selection were common). On one morning we even got farm-fresh eggs from the chickens beyond the future pool area. The parking was ample. We fell asleep every night to the lovely sound of coqui frogs. There is a fridge in the room and the sale of beers and other beverages from the bar area was appreciated for its convenience.
great place comfortable beautiful view and surroundings close to beaches yet very relaxing great staff and breakfast
