Wi fi was not working
the service is excellent ,
location, friendly staff
It looks more like a hostel than a hotel, but you pay a high-end price. There are no facilities and everything is outdated. Rooms are small and noisy, it looks totally different than what you see in the pictures.
Good location in old town, clean, friendly and helpfull staff.
Due to close proximity to port and many restaurants it can get very noisy at night and sleeping can be problematic. WiFi is not easily accessible throughout the hotel, signal gets weak at some floors. WiFi router located on emergency stairwell and signal can't get through the walls well. Some rooms have smell of mold or moisture.
The afternoon staff person was excellent! She was pleasant, efficient and helpful. The location is great, very convenient.
It is over-priced for what you get and doesn't have basic amenities, such as reliable wi-fi, hair dryer, phone or clock. The person responsible for our wake-up call and calling our taxi in the morning actually was awakened by us! Yes, he was asleep in the dark lobby, on the couch. Fortunately we woke up before he did and didn't screw up our flight home. Too expensive for a run-down hotel with minimal amenities and questionable service.
The staff were extremely courteous, and accommodating. We were upgraded to a wonderful suite on our second night, and the location is as central as you can get! :)
The staff was very nice and friendly.
The room was filthy. The was a wall-to-wall carpet which obviously hand´t seen a vacuum cleaner ever. After complaining they did something for the floor, but the result was the same.
Ana, the lady at the front desk was amazing !!
The location is pretty much perfect. The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable.
Not having a phone in the room seems odd. A coffee maker is a necessity. The people who checked us in didn't mention that there was breakfast so we missed it. They also mixed up our payments with friends we were travelling with and didn't seem to be able to void and fix it.
the room, breakfast, location
The guy on the desk at check in didn't seem to know anything about the hotel or the town, we asked where the nearest beach was and he looked completely lost, when we finally determined there was one a few kilometres away, and we enquired how to get there he advised there might be a taxi, however, a few metres from the hotel is the main bus station, where more than one person enquired if we needed help and easily got us on our way with instructions on how to get back,
Loved the location and design. Room was clean and nice. Staff welcomed us with rose petals and beautiful towel birds for our anniversary... it was a nice detail.
Sent of cinnamon in the room, look like it was covering another odor like humidity... I just don't like cinnamon as a personal preference, others might like it. Usually in hospitality any overpowering sent is covering for something.
Loved the location, great staff, very helpful & friendly. Very good choice, will come back again.
Wish we had longer to stay in Old San Juan.
walking distance to shops and cruise docks
no phone, fridgerator, no pool or hot tub
Loved our stay. In the heart of old San Juan.
It was right downtown with public parking across the road and the city trolley right in front. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was mediocre
For being a boutique hotel in Ild San Juan I imagined the room to be small and with an older feel considering the location. I was happy to discover large room for more than enough space for us and our service dog and modern new decor. I will definitely come back.
The staff were amazing! I accidentally left my credit cards and driver's license at the front desk before I went on to a different part of the island. I did not have an easy way to get back to the hotel, so they OVERNIGHTED it to me. I was so relieved!
The location of the hotel is good. Close to shopping, and restaurants. The staff is friendly, and ready to make recommendations.
They advertise parking, which is not true. However there are a couple of parking garages across the street. We were told it would only cost about $20 for the two days we were there, but again not true. $126 for two days!!!! Unbelievable!! We could have stayed a third night for that much money. Really disappointing, but overall a good stay.
Great staff. Great location
Breakfast was too late
Charming, comfortable, elevator, staff, breakfast
Noisy, but hey its San Juan!
Specious, friendly service.
3 Juliette balconies, all looking at a wall parking lot. The room furniture are tired, carpet was dirty, value for money, not there!
Very helpful and friendly staff, room was clean and comfortable, updated decor. Good location.
Hot water only in shower (no control over temperature). We did not complain since only there 2 nights. Pretty noisy in the early morning when traffic and garbage trucks were arriving. AC control thermostat control didn't work well either - was either on or off. Made for a chilly room.
Small and quaint hotel that has lots of character; close to cruise port (walking distance) as well as other points of interest in Old San Juan; nice continental breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Street noise did awake us early in the morning; older building thus windows were not sound blocking.
location was great staff was very friendly We had a great time
Close to many eating establishments and shops.
Booked cause I thought is was within walking distance to Disney cruise port. It was not. Cruise port for Disney was on other side of bay and we needed to take a cab.
