The view, the hotel design, the food.... Everything!!

Check-out time was too busy... We waited for the valet service for 45 mins... It rook us an 1 1/2 hrs to checkout because it was so busy!!! Also, couldn't make it to the park or Palomino because of the waiting lines... Only one boat and funicular were working...

Rooms very old. Hotel was booked to capacity. 1 ferry wasn't working. Lines were incredibly long. Never got to see private island due to the wait in excess of 2 hours for ferry. Due to ferry not working water park was too crowded. Checked out two days early. Not worth the money.

Scenery and natural surroundings. The landscaping crew has done a great job.

Bartenders at palomino island were rude and seemed to favor locals over other guests. We were treated like we were invisible Everything was over priced. It reminded us of Atlantis property. We were in the marina section and there is only one way to get to main hotel..the tram. If it breaks (and it did) you will waste a lot of time waiting. As a matter of fact, waiting is common- waiting on waiters or bartenders, waiting on trams, waiting on ferry to carry you to beach....lots of wasted time.

I like the view of the room.

Nothing to do!!!!!!!!!! For the price I paid, I feel my wife and I did not enjoy our stay. I was shock we had to open a tab just to be able to use the billiard tables. Everything was about making money. We were not happy at all with this hotel. You should go to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and learn what great service is all about. I was force to go out every day just to find something to do. I will not return to this facility ever, nor will I recommend it to anyone of my friends and family. VERY DISSAPOINTED!

The private island of the resort is perfect. Very nice beach and convenient transportation.

Efficiency and attitude of front desk staff are poor. They processed the checkins checkouts slowly while there was a long queue waiting. And they were cold with little smile.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Palomino Island was great; the boat ride was a exciting for my 6 yr old. Wife and 6 yr old took the horse ride on the island. The drinks were good; reasonably priced for the location & lack of competition. Beach was amazing and kayaks, and jet skis were available. Water shoes are a must due to coral washing up the shore. The hotel had a Starbucks and a number of shops and restaurants. The restaurant we ate at in the Marina was good; Ballyhoo Bar served up good food, a bit on the high side but the quantities were large and made for good leftovers. We ate breakfast and desert at the common area past the lobby; it felt like our personal space out there overlooking the water and the islands. The ferry, elevator and the tram system were well organized and interesting. Valet parking was prompt and the front desk called thrice to check on a request for coffee mugs I made for our room. The room we had was one with a full ocean view including Palomino Island and other islands in the distance. We did not use the pool but heard some activities in the evening. We ate a great meal at La Estancia just down the street from the entrance one night. Highly recommend that place. Overall, the facility is great, you will enjoy it here. Don't take the negatives from other reviewers too seriously; it's not everywhere do you get a private island, a great sea view, good golf, and amenties for about $250/night.

I could hear the wind howling outside through the balcony doors the first night. The second night it was calm; appears to be a function of how high the winds are.

Great, Beautiful Location, with many different options for dining, activities, and leisure.

Huge Sprawling complex was difficult to transverse. Private Island was fun, but the trip to and from room became cumbersome after several trips. It was the only access to beach on the property. Depending on ferry crossing, could be 1- 1 1/2 hour round trip.

It's clean, kind of close to a lot of attractions (Bio-Bay, The shuttle to Culebra, even El Yunque rain forest is only 30 minutes drive).

The Parking costs money for each day, a thing that is not mentioned here at all. It's is a long way to get from the entrance to the rooms (with the cable car and all). The prices of everything inside the resort are just way too expensive and not worth it. The view from the ocean view room is nice but not worth the extra.

The private Island is amazing. The resort is a great place for children. All sort of water activities for the children. In fact this resort is for children.

Impossible to find good food in this resort. It seems that every restaurant in the resort goes out of its way to make horrible food. The children were fine with this but the food situation ruined our stay.

They charged me at least $300 more than they should have even though I pointed it out at checkout. The person at the front desk said it was a mistake and that she would fix it but she didn't. Billing department is only open during business hours so I have to wait to figure it out.

    Private palomino island.

The transport car from atop to bottom took too long at night.

The private beach, and views is general

food prices every check was over 100 for a family of four and dinners could go to 250. That they charge for the water park, its not much but for it can be included in the room without problems.

I loved everything at this resort!!! My boyfriend and I were her for three days and the place was wonderful! Staff were very professional, the food was excellent, and the way the system is set up, you don;t have to walk around with cash on hand because they give you a card to use and just charge it to the room which was great. We are definitely going back this year because we had such a great time! Drinks, view, Palomino Island, etc. everything was above expectations.

I was really looking forward to my girlfriend and my anniversary here. Unfortunately, the weather was on the rainy side which meant we spent more time in the room than we normally would have spent. For the price, we felt the rooms could have been better, no breakfast included, no exhaust fan in bathroom, it was mid week after Thanksgiving and the place felt very empty. The in room coffee was the best coffee we had while in Puerto Rico. After we left, we went to Vieques and stayed at the W and thought they were a better choice for price and location.

No hotel shuttle service to Ferry. No exhaust fan in room bathroom. For the quality of food and room, felt overpriced...perhaps we are just spoiled with the choices we have in San Francisco (home)

Great hotel and a lot of facilities available to us. Not enough time to do more activities. Next time will stay longer.
