Hotel El Guajataca

The view of the ocean and expanse of the property. Well maintained grounds and pools.

The View was awesome. The walking and swimming were great. People were freindly. Very Relaxing but also rustic not very luxurious. The maid service was excellent. There are 3 wonderful dogs wild dogs who live there on the beach and around the hotel. My daughter got very attached and so did my wife. It was hard to leave them.

The continental breakfast consists of one loaf of white bread With either cheese whiz or jelly and when the bread was gone breakfast was over. The resteraunt advertises many dishes although they are closed during the week so you are on your own for all meals including breakfast. Bring a cooler Bring a little food & treats for the dogs. Besides the restaraunt being closed ....this is a wonderful place.

The view of the balcony was beautiful. The room was cold and clean. The hotel was very clean in general and the staff very nice. The restaurant had very good and cheap food. Beautiful views.

The bed was pretty hard.. but we were so tired, falling asleep wasn't an issue. Breakfast service was very slow and wasn't all that great. Everything else, wonderful

Beautiful area overlooking the ocean, clean, pretty hotel. Staff is wonderful. Wifi in the lobby. I am a birder and saw hummingbirds and troupials here (bright orange and black). They also have a washer and dryer you can use!

the rooms and mostly bathrooms are a bit run down but clean.

Excelent value. Views from room are un real. Food is excelent, service is great. Staff very helpfull. Will stay again.

The best thing is when you wake up in the morning and opening the blinds and looking at the beutifull view...... Spectaular...... When my grandoughter saw that she was so happy.....

I like staying there overnight while am trveling thru the island....

There is no question that the service is excellent, but the view is something else.

Tolle Lage und sehr nettes Personal.

Möbeln waren schon sehr "abgewohnt". Klimaanlage war sehr laut.

Desayuno

Tiene una vista preciosa desde las habitaciones. Cuenta con dos piscinas: una de 13 pies y otra de 6 pies. Estaban limpias y los alrededores estaban recogidos y limpios. Se notaba la limpieza en las habitaciones.

No habia servicio de restaurante. No habia neverita en el cuarto. Habia que usar las toallas de la habitación para la piscina. No habia algun puesto para servir bebidas ni tapas. No tenía un letrero con el nombre del hotel. Las afueras del hotel le faltaba iluminación. El área de registro parece una casucha. El pasillo frente a las habitaciones carecían de landscaping, estaban en tierra o tenían zonas en las que se veían acumulación de objetos en desuso. No hay servicio de internet en las habitaciones. En el balcón no había iluminación y no la arreglaron aunque lo reportamos.Sería una maravillosa experiencia si invirtieran en landscaping y en más servicios: alimentos, spa y mantenimiento e iluminación en la entrada del hotal.

En mi opinion creo que el cargo de estadia por noche en el hotel es muy alto y no cumple las espectativas de lo que cualquier persona esperaria por ese precio. El personal necesita ser mejor adiestrado en cuanto al servcio al visitante. Instalacion y planta fisica requiere una gran inversion.

La planta fisica, el mantenimiento, el personal del area de restaurant, precios exorbitantes considerando lo que el cliente recibe. Tiene exelente ubicacion, una pena, no volveria ni lo recomendaria.

Me encanto la hospitalidad de los empleados y nos sentimos bien comodos en la tranquilidad del ambiente . regresarwmos luego lo aseguro

The view of the beach. The pools were kept clean and the air conditioning was nice. It was a very relaxing experience.

Only a small issue with the water heater that got solved and in their booking they should specify what do they mean by breakfast included. If the breakfast is continental don't say is just toast and coffee. It would do good to them if they had a breakfast buffet. The wifi doesn't reach most of the hotel rooms.

Setting is beautiful.

Breakfast was loaf of bread, jar of cheeze whiz and unidentifed object floating in coffee pot. No pool towels... Wanted us to "bring them a used one" and they'd give us a clean one. Threadbare towels, minimal amenities, no resturant, very little security.

The staff was accomodating, when I had problems with the first room they gave us they moved us right away to a ifferent room.

No cell phone coverage and the only way you get internet access is in the lobby.
