    Loved going to palomino island.

Food prices were to expensive. No night life everything closed to early. Would prefer to pay cash at palomino island for food and drinks.

The views. The pools, hot tub and private island were great.

No microwave. Electrical switches inoperable. No Casino @ Main Hotel.

Water park shouldn't be an additional charge for hotel guests. At least offer a one day pass included.

The pristine, beautiful grounds, views, numerous activities for all ages, concern and friendliness of the staff. The food at the restaurants was quite good; a bit pricey but not exorbitant. This is an exceptional facility.

This is not a complaint but because the resort is located on a steep hillside anyone who has an issue climbing stairs may have difficulty despite the availability of the shuttles.

Palomino Island was great -- it's very clean. We saw a fire burning on the island the night we arrived -- my best guess is they burned the garbage other reviewers mentioned. Palomino Island was about a 15 minute (free) boat ride away from the resort. Palominito Island is just a kayak-ride away from Palomino Island and it's next to a reef. The infinity pool and general premises of Las Casitas are cut off from the El Conquistador, which we greatly appreciated. You have access to everything in El Conquistador and you get seclusion from the large number of families and business there. We went scuba diving (our first time!) with Casa del Mar, and we had a blast. The crew was great, and we had a bunch of fun. We had an upgraded room with views of el Yunque and the ocean, and it was really amazing.

The restaurants weren't great. The steak house was overpriced for its quality; the Chinese & Japanese restaurant was mediocre. There were long waits for the pool table downstairs; instead, go upstairs, get a drink at the bar, and play some pool! The night life at the hotel is geared more toward families than it is for romantic getaways.

    Great service. Scenic location.

A bit on the expensive side.

We really enjoyed the private Palomino island where you can find a beautiful beach, lounge chairs, umbrellas, 2 souvenir shops, restaurant, bar and wait staff to get your order from your lounge chair. As it is private, we did not worry to much over our belongings and there was nobody bugging us to try to buy stuff. The entire resort is beautiful and has several pools, including an infiniti pool. You can also find 2 convenient stores that allow you to buy pretty much anything you need, including alcohol and food The free gym is quite decent. We did not try the paid gym. The outdoor restaurants are quite nice and food is really good. Prices are not too bad. We had a 2 bedroom suite with ocean view. The housekeeping was outstanding. The concierges were very professional and always happy to provide all the help possible to make our stay something to remember. We will definitely go back to this resort and also try other Waldorf Astoria resorts.

All the nice restaurants are quite expensive. It's hard to justify so much money on one restaurant thus limiting us to the same restaurants.

I was impressed with room size and staff was very friendly. The view and infinity pool though crowded but was great. Fajardo has better eating options than very touristy San Juan and I'm glad I changed my bookings last minute to this property.

We had to take a ferry to the beach. I've mostly been to resorts where you can walk up to the beach from pool
