Ramada Ponce Hotel & Casino

The hotel facilities was very nice, we value the complimentary breakfast and the clean facilities the bed comfort. The breakfast was great.

The noice. Our room was like we are in the road we could not sleep with the cars noice also al 6:00am start the construction repairs at the hotel. Also we had to pay for the parking it should be complimentary for the hotel guests.

Shops and wonderful museums were within walking distance. The restaurant was gourmet class, wonderful food. Coffee shop staff accommodating and friendly with English speaking guests.

All the construction going on and starting up too early in AM; and the traffic noise into the night. Had to tell staff about lack of toilet paper in lobby bathrooms.

Great location in the city center across the street from the plaza. Excellent food in the restaurant! Friendly staff, comfortable rooms.

Construction in the hotel (adding a new parking garage) started before 7 am on a Saturday morning. The plaza is active until about 11 PM...noise, traffic, people walking around.

My room (317) was at the backend of the hotel facing a street with a view towards La Cruceta del Vigia and El Castillo Serralles...priceless! The staff was always friendly and helpful. Valet parking staff was great! The lady in charge of cleaning our room was superb! Loved that we got free breakfast for two every morning from Café Melao (delicious). Love the location, close to shopping and nightlife. I am staying here again in April 2014!!! :)

The room key got deactivated twice, no biggie, but arriving at midnight hours having to go to the desk when we really just wanted to get into our room would of been better ;) The girl at the front desk was friendly and solved the issue quickly. The pool needs to be somewhere else. Who wants to get into a pool where tables are close-by with people dining...the location of the pool is weird. We stayed on the 3rd floor, so the construction going on didn't affect us; what was a little annoying was the conversations going on in the hallway where we could hear in our rooms and the slamming of doors. You could hear when people were showering too since the restrooms seem to face the hallways... I would not recommend this hotel for "Romance/Honeymoon"...unless you want the other guests to know what you are up to in your own room.

We have problems with the hot water of the shower. I call to the front desk and they suppossed to send some technician but they dont.

It was a wonderful experience. Some things (like room's floor and linnen's cleanning were not good).

The room's floor was dirty and the comfort sheet also.

The staff was good and helpful. The breakfast was good. The localisation was great.

Noisy, you can hear the person talking in the corridor and we were too close to the ice machine.

Check-in was quick, no fuss. Front Desk clerk nice and attentive.

No clear parking instructions. Lack of signage made getting around difficult. Received conflicting information from valet parking attendant and front desk clerk. Nobody helped us with bags. No "Do Not Disturb" or "Please Clean Room" sign on door. Room was clean. No bedspread. No clock in room, tv remote control only worked if used very close to unit, could not change channels if lying in bed. Shower door did not keep water from flooding out of stall and onto bathroom floor. NO hotel information in room (no restaurant menus, room service, if any, no telephone extension information, not even a Bible in drawers). Complimentary breakfast consisted of a very limited choice and was served in a street-like cafeteria on foam plates, with plastic knives and forks. The hotel is nicely decorated but lacks a lot of details. Employees are friendly but not very helpful, in general.

Almost everything was great! The valet parking "boys" were excellent; they were very polite, efficient, and fast. "Girls" should take their work a bit more serious. Front Desk attendants were very good, and the room as well! Congratulations!

Issue with the room key. It didn't work, and had to wait for someone to open it twice. (I know things happen). Valet parking boys were eager to go immediately to tell the front desk personnel; the girls just laughed with lack of manners. Everything else was excellent!

Nobody helped us out with our luggage when we got in. The casino staff were very rude. The construction in front of the rooms woke us up at 6:30am

The hotel was beautiful! The staff was wonderful and helped us with everything! It was kept tidy and clean daily. Extra charge at the end of our stay for parking was worth the 10 a day, to have the car parked for us. The staff there was great too! The only thing that could be improved on is the swimming pool... It is next to the restaurant and dinning outside, maybe a division of some kind would be good. This would .make it more family oriented.

Large, beautiful room in the old building. Tile flooring, wood trim, large comfortable king size bed, two large windows and small balcony with nice curtains and wooden panels. Plenty of drawer space. Modern toilet bathroom. Security safe provided. The small restaurant served very good breakfast (the only meals I ate a the hotel. Valet staff really hustle. Hotel face the old main square which contains a grande cathedral.

No alarm clock/radio even after I requested one. The coffee maker's cord was too short to reach the socket. No extension cord provided. The door to the bathroom needed trimming. One hard rain resulted in rain water seeping through a window creating puddles of water on the floor. Took housekeeping 3 hours to come mop it up. Extra charge for valet. Some street noise, but not a serious issue for me.

Bathroom was dirty!no toilet paper soiled bed linens.We booked two rooms, one king and one doble we were given two dobles...When we mentioned problem with reservation we were asked if we really wanted a king room? We said yes it is what we booked.We were told tbat there were no king beds available....Rooms were dirtiest we have ever stayed in!!

The hotel was nicely decorated and was very upmarket. It had a cafe and restaurant on site

They are currently doing some construction work at the hotel, meaning that the area is very dirty and noisy with work starting at 7:30am. They are building a casino that is due to open in March. I think it will be a miracle if it gets finished on time. There isn't really much to the downtown area, but nno doubt the casino will aid it's regeneration.
