The owners are very nice people and very knowledgable of Puerto Rico history and information. The roof top terrace is a hidden gem of the place and a nice place to relax in the evening.
Small room and bathroom was small, the bed was also hard. Plumbing fixtures needed up grading, leaky faucets ect.
Enjoyed the quaint & historical feel of the hotel. Very friendly & helpful staff. A beautiful rooftop garden space. Hotel 4 blocks from beach & entertainment zone but in locals area with non-tourist restaurants & coffee shops..
A reasonably priced establishment but sleeping quarters minimal.
They have a chill rooftop terrace and the beach is 10min walk away.
Hotel itself is old and rooms outworn, not cozy. Totally not worth the 120 dollar per night we paid.
it was close to the airport and the owners were extremely nice and kind.
We only spend one night, noisy people in the hotel... laughing in the halls... air conditioning sounded very loud had to turn it off.
1) Location ( close to the beach and even can reach Old San Juan on foot) 2) Supermarket 24hours is nearby 3) Central (Touristic) streets are nearby 4) Free WF 5) Nice terrace 6) Kindhearted owner and nice cat)* 7) Clean
1) Knock at the door of the drunken guests. Its not hotel fault!
Super friendly staff! Very cool traditional building and clean. Huge terrace to hang out. If your look for real san juan go here. Very close to supermarket! Would stay again for sure
Nothing to compain about :)
having to ask for fresh towels. stayed for 8 days. the room was cleaned twice
-Cheap!! -Close to everything in Condado, San Juan -Friendly staff -A 5-10 minute walk to all the restaurants and the beach in Condado -The rooftop terrace was great, we spent time up there almost every night
-Uncomfortable, small bed -WiFi didn't work very well -Linens were really old -Lack of amenities
We flew in on a red eye to take a cruise the next evening. We needed a place for 5 people to crash for the day. At an online price of $215 plus tax, Hotel Iberia seemed an inexpensive way to go. The hotel was old but fairly clean. I really can't say much more positive. It was cheap and you get what you pay for-sometimes.
When I booked the hotel, I specified I wanted to pay the advertised $20/room for late checkout at 2pm. On check in, I paid the extra $40 and the desk clerk said we could check out at 2pm. We slept, then went to lunch to come back to both rooms doors open & our luggage gone to storage They had kicked us out of rooms at noon, despite advertising and us paying until 2pm. Also there was NO hot water. Nothing but a trickle came out of the hot water side, only cold in both rooms for showers and that had little pressure. Signs said put toilet paper in trash - not toilet. Very odd. It was basically camping inside.
The staff were extremely kind and pleasant. The roof top terrace was very nice. The hotel was next to a large grocery store.
The room was simple with AC, bed, nightstand, desk, closet area, shower, toilet and sink. I missed there was no way to make hot water for coffee nor refrigeration. There was no breakfast on premises, but we were told these facilities were under renovation.
Staff was friendly.
I had a reservation for two nights and I wanted to change it to one night. The hotel said they were tied down by booking.com's policies, if I had booked directly with the hotel they would not have charged me for the second night. Do not use booking.
The location was great. We had everything we needed. It was quiet and the owner we met was nice.
The toilet in one of our rooms didn't work, but the staff fixed it right away. We were able to feel the springs in one of the beds in our room. The bedspread was stained. There was a sign that announced breakfast at 8 am, but there was no breakfast.
The staff was wonderful, very helpful and friendly. Location was great, good criollo restaurant, a local market, the beach and by the highway. The hotel is great building, with an amazing terrace.
The room could it be a little bit cleaner, there were some dust and the mattress had some stains. This is something it can be improve. The price vs amenities is not super good. The breakfast is not include, and it is a pity the terrace and the dining room wasn't working. I hope they will made this work.
Very friendly staff. Very clean. There's a beautiful roof top terrace where you can have coffee or a glass of wine. Good location, short walk to the restaurants and the beach.
closeness to metro area, good Super market right next door with cafeteria
no shower mat
The the interior design was pretty - somewhat baroque. The staff is very friendly, but limited in number.
The comforter had "stains," there were ants everywhere, the TV barely worked due to the poor satellite connection and there was only one English channel.
Very private, hotel staff leave you alone. 24 hour grocery store next door. 15 minute walk to the downtown main areas. The terrace was nice.
Water was warm, had to let it run for a while. Bed could have been softer. No clock or phone in the room. Kind of dirty. Not as of being clean, but as in sand Sometimes you had to find the staff. The experience was like staying at a relative's house out of town. But overall I would do it again.
Air condition was very noisy. We had to Switch it off during night. The Hotel is more a backpacker location.
near city center
very dirty old
Nice rooftop terrace
They charged $50 to my credit card after I had checked out because there was a small stain on the sheets. The cleaning staff member said it wasn't a big deal and they would just wash it, but the manager said it was hotel policy and there was nothing he could do except charge me the absurd amount of $50! I will never be staying here again.
their location and good service ...
no parking , the rest is good
Great staff, nice and clean, excellent location
No hot water, no parking ,
First off our room was not worth the 300 & something bucks we spent. The room they gave my bf & I was very muggy, had ants underneath the sheets, & had dirt/stains on the white sheets. When we told them they seemed very non chalant abt the problem. So as 20 minutes went by they switched us to a bigger room. It was a decent room but still it felt very unsanitary. Call me american feed but every hotel should at least keep up with washing/bleaching their sheets. Long story short ill never be staying at this hotel again.
