Air condition was very noisy. We had to Switch it off during night. The Hotel is more a backpacker location.
near city center
very dirty old
Nice rooftop terrace
They charged $50 to my credit card after I had checked out because there was a small stain on the sheets. The cleaning staff member said it wasn't a big deal and they would just wash it, but the manager said it was hotel policy and there was nothing he could do except charge me the absurd amount of $50! I will never be staying here again.
their location and good service ...
no parking , the rest is good
Great staff, nice and clean, excellent location
No hot water, no parking ,
First off our room was not worth the 300 & something bucks we spent. The room they gave my bf & I was very muggy, had ants underneath the sheets, & had dirt/stains on the white sheets. When we told them they seemed very non chalant abt the problem. So as 20 minutes went by they switched us to a bigger room. It was a decent room but still it felt very unsanitary. Call me american feed but every hotel should at least keep up with washing/bleaching their sheets. Long story short ill never be staying at this hotel again.
It was a terrible experience, my children were terrified, spiders everywhere, very poor cleaning conditions.
Not clean, everything was old and nasty. Mold odor, the shower and the bathroom were in poor conditions.
It was the best valued hotel in San Juan. For what you get and what you paid it was the best. The rooms were clean. I love that Super Max was right next door. You get get anything and everything you need there. There's even a deli inside so if you get hungry there's always some place to go. Location is great as well. You are in the middle of Condado and Ocean Park. Front desk guy was very nice. I would book this again on my next return trip.
I did have half a curtain but I can over look that. No maid service though. But they would have changed the sheets if I had ask. Definitely use the parking out front for the guess. I chose not to and parked on the side street and got a ticket. Not quite sure what the ticket was for though.
The staff was very helpful. It also had a great location for the money. Idea for a single traveler looking to save some money. It is a basic room and shower nothing else.
The TV only had one English channel. Once again this is not a fancy hotel so I can not complain about just having the basics.
The hotel really gave me a feel of Puerto Rico. It honestly felt like I was staying at a family members home.
After staying the first night, a staff approached me and told me I had to pay an additional $30 for a friend who they seen that was staying with us. They should of charges us the money the first night nd not wait two days later.
The terrace on top of the hotel is great! There are scores of plants, a cool breeze and an excellent view of Condado, the area around the hotel. We ate our dinner on the terrace and had an excellent, leisurely experience. We enjoyed the old fashion nature of the hotel. It's like going back in time.
I travel with my handicap mother and it was difficult for her to use the stair but the crew at this location made it easy they were always helping
Need handicap facility
The bed unconfortable. Too old.
Staff was very friendly. The guy at the front desk was very nice/cool and he showed me where to go for food after midnight.
One window had only screen but no glass. There was bird/insect outside singing. These noises kept me awake half of the night since it was very loud. There was some unpleasant smell coming from the bed but you get used to it eventually. The building was old - this is what you get when you pay around $100 in San Juan which is on the cheap end.
Helpful and very friendly staff. Good location: supermarket, beach and shops close by. Nice decoration.
No hot water at all and low water pressure. Not allowed to throw paper in toilet but the toilet paper container was not emptied. Noisy airconditioner. Noisy guests.
Nothing was what we expected We checked in at around 17:30 and the gentleman at the front desk was not very nice or helpfull. The other guy we met after that wear glasses was very helpfull. he even changed our room for us.
Checked in was not professional. we had a reservastion for 3 persons. for 4 nights. he kept repeating this and saying that he is seeing four persons. i had to explain to him a couple of times that it is 3 persons checking in. the 4th person was the person that brought us to the hotel. the room seemed like it was not clean or open for days. it was smelling molly and old. full of dust. the sheets were all stained. wanted to checked out and was told that we will be charged for 2 nights.
We killed a cockroach in the room on the first night. It was in the same place on the second.
The rooms were dirty, no towels and lots bugs. No toilet tissue.
Nice, clean, small hotel with very friendly staff.
It's a nice hotel. I with my friend's all love liveryyah. I will tall my other friend if they travel to San Juan.
Ants were everywhere No water pressure Noisy air conditioner Stains on thin bath towels No electrical outlet in the bathroom
I liked the location because it's right near a 24/7 SuperMart and the beach. Also, the roof top terrace is very nice.
Most of the staff didn't speak English and they didn't make up the rooms once during our trip. We were four college kids so we weren't expecting much. They also charged us more than it said on the website when we booked it and we couldn't reason with the guy at the front desk because he didn't speak English.
Im sorry but when we arrived we found out no elevator and long walk to hallway to our room.mold on the shower curtain ,no amenities at all . No coffee pot or refrigerator in room We only stayed for 5 days and went back to La Parquera .The owner was understanding about our health issues and agreed to give us credit with our credit card for the remaining 4 days.
The staffs is friendly and the neighborhood is not bad!
First of all, its noisy, the power of water is very low, internet sucks, bed is not comfortable...for the money we spent on it, it's not worth it. I wouldn't recommend it to anybody because we were so disappointed that after the first night we wanted to cancel everything and look for another hotel but they wouldn't give us our money back so we were forced to continue for four freaking nights...
