Can't think of anything except the front desk staff was plesent.
The room was VERY small. Our inside cabin on a cruise was larger than this room and they are known for being small. Even my walk in closet is larger then this room. The price was very high for the quality.
Had a great experience. Wish I could of stayed longer. Very Peaceful. Beautiful ocean view experience. If you want to stay away from over populated touristic beaches this is the place to stay!!!!
I really liked everything, I felt all are needs were met. I don't think I'd ever stayed in a place quite this charming, we took a chance after reading the other reviews and were pleased. Breakfast was lovely with a gorgeous view of the beach, it was a nice calming visit. The inn was not luxurious by any means, just simple and the plants and hammocks added to the ambience. Sitting on the upstairs Jacuzzi while staring at the ocean was special.
Not real sound proof but are any hotels that way. My husband and I stayed at the Caribe Hilton for the first 3 days of our trip for business and there was the room fee plus the 12% tax plus 18% resort fee plus $18 a day to park. Drinks were $13 no thanks! Glad Uncle Sam paid that bill.
Not convenient to restaurants.
The friendliness of the Staff and the thought that has gone into making this not just another place to stay but one that you will remember.
Staff is great. Location is very good. Right on one of the best beaches in San Juan. Parking can be tough, but worth it if you are planning tostay in the city for a couple of days in the city and explore.
Ocean noise. The waves are so loud! Its as if you are camping on the beach . tropical bird chirping is also loud.
I couldn't have gotten any closer to the beach than this cute little bed and breakfast hotel. The staff was always so helpful and genuinely nice.
Continental breakfast & pool. Beautiful view while eating breakfast. Very impressive from the outside.
Place could use some TLC. Did not like the fact there was mold in bathroom that was merely painted over....and shower liner was moldy. Better housekeeping should be enforced and bedding needs upgrading.
Staff was nice and helpful.
Internet access was very slow and down about half the time. Room had ant infestation. Pool, jacuzzi area had broken equipment. Breakfast ok, not great..
I loved the style of the place. Lots of places to relax outside, either in the sun or out, always listening to the waves crashing. They let us have full access to the kitchen, which was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!
The bed wasn't the most comfortable. otherwise loved everything.
Everything.... Tres Palmas offers peace and tranquility, rooms are comfy, location and ambiente is tranquil and relaxing, jacuzzis on the top floor are icing on the cake, after a long strenuous day in a tropical island...lol Breakfast in the morning is awesome, Front desk is wonderful and helpful.
Nothing to not like!
The staff are great and make you feel welcome. The beach is across the road. The old town area is a 15 minute taxi ride as is the dock and the airport. Food in old San Juan is awesome, easily as good and better than cruising food. I for sure will stay there on any future visits to the area.
That it was very closed to the beach, airport, pleasant worker
That my toilet was clogged, telephone didn't work
The closeness of the sea and the lovely staff
Pool cleaning is inadequate and no tea/coffee facilities which was stated in the description as being available
Friendly staff, quite area.
Too far from Old San Juan and shopping etc. Beach was ok but didn't use it as we were only there for one day before our cruise. Lobby shoukd have coffee or snacks available, can't go anywhere at night.
Located across from beach. Nice continental breakfast. Plenty of areas to sit and relax. Employees were extremely helpful.
Restaurants not within a short walk. Rooms were much smaller than what the pictures made them out to be.
scenery; atmosphere; pretty good breakfast; staff friendly
bed a little hard
the layout of the property was very good for handicap persons all on one level. pool was great. only stayed 1 night but the staff was great especially issac. the shower even had a handicap rail. would return,
The ocean right by the hotel, the walks I took every morning for therapy, restaurants withing walking distance and the bars even closer.
Better than expected. Very clean, comfortable and pretty. Great space.
I was impressed with the whole place, its location and the wonderful help everyone gave me!
I had to go to work every day and leave Tres Palmas!
The ocean view in the morning while having breakfast, from the many common areas...
Minor upgrades needed to be done inside the rooms..
The staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient. Beautiful setting, the beach was just across the street, the upstairs veranda w/hot tub was a treat. Very quaint, Latin feel to the facility. We have recommended already to our friends and will come again.
I recommend bringing ear plugs for sleeping. Pto. Rico is known for its coqui frogs - which you will get anywhere and can be a bit noisy at nigh, making sleeping hard for light sleepers. I slept great with ear plugs. would be nice if they updated their beach chairs - some where rusty and hard to open. But we where happy to have what was there.
Room was cosy, clean and functional. Staff so friendly and you felt like you had stepped to an oasis in the middle of Puerto Rico.
