This guesthouse was amazing! The grounds were gorgeous and the staff were very kind. We loved being right next to the beach, overlooking the ocean and the rooftop patio with a hot tub was delightful! We can't say enough great things about this inn and their staff!

The staff were very helpful! The hot tub & tables on the roof were great to watch the sun set. The accomodation is basic and good value for money.

The Staff were like family. The location cannot be better across the street from the beach. Close to everything yet in a quiet area. Family friendly, great for couples and singles alike.

Nothing , we enjoyed it all

The hotel is located just across the street from the ocean. The crosswalks are raised and well respected. You can sit at breakfast and watch the ocean. The common spaces are beach casual, outdoors and extremely comfortable. They are tucked away, with clusters around different rooms. We felt like the couch, chairs and table just outside our door were an extension of our room. The rooms were large and airy. The showers and bathroom were surprisingly roomy. The kitchenette was extremely nice; it included a full size fridge. Everything was extremely clean and recently updated. The staff was extraordinarily helpful. The water sports offered were diverse with good instruction. Beach towels were always available, as were beach chairs and boogey boards. We walked most places, but there is free street parking just in front of the hotel for our car.

You will want to pick up some paper plates at the store. While the kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans and dishes, none were microwave safe.

Rooms were pretty basic, but comfortable. We loved the location (across the street from the beach) and the extremely nice staff members, in addition to the breakfast provided.

The hotel needs a little TLC. The jacuzzis and in-room hair dryer were broken. Still a great deal for the money, considering the location.

Loved Tres Palmas! Extremely friendly and attentive staff. VERY comfortable rooms. Loved hearing the coqui (tree frogs) at night. Gorgeous gardens and beach front setting. We ate breakfast up on a deck overlooking the azure-colored ocean. The neighborhood has some rather questionable areas. I felt safe taking a walk down the beachfront street in the morning. However, we did not venture out at night. This is a boutique hotel. The accommodations gave us a real taste of Puerto Rico!

The neighborhood is a bit "sketchy".

We stayed at the Ocean View Suite, right across from the Ocean. A truly awesome experience with the view of the Ocean from your room and you can also hear the ocean waves. Very comfortable for relaxing, and enjoying the Island. No mosquitos, private balcony and a Jacuzzi right outside your room! Free breakfast and very hospitable staff. Parking is available on the streets most of the time and area is close to food places and Old San Juan--about 10 minute ride by car.

The small refrigerator needs to be cleaned, service and or replaced as it didn't keep foods cold, and the portable grill should be replaced. The bath room has a private toilet area which is nice, but the door needs to be fixed so it can totally close. A few tiny ants around areas which is somewhat expected but maybe can be controlled better. Bikes were really not in good shape to ride--they should be replaced.

This place was amazing! We only stayed 1 night but I wish we could have stayed longer. The grounds are beautiful. They have two hot tubs and a pool. Both were really clean. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed at the Hilton and this place has them beat all the way around! Stay here if you are in San Juan. You will not be disappointed.

Located just across the road from the beach with no buildings obstructing the view. Rooftop patio with umbrellas and jacuzzi. Lovely covered outdoor breakfast area with view of water. Good breakfast included eggs, ham, cheese and pastries, cereal, fruit. Great coffee! Staff at front desk extremely helpful and accommodating. Swimming and water sports close by plus near the airport and rental car places. Restaurants you can walk to. Safe area.

Spring for the better rooms on the top floor with the view. My room was in the back and kind of dark but i went for the least expensive.

The staff was very helpfull. They have beach gear and towels for loan for free which were great. It had everything we needed right there. It is a very quaint place and the location is very central to every place we visited. This felt very local, This is not a fancy hotel like one of the resorts but that is not what we were looking for. Would stay there again.

Some areas near there were a little sketchy but we never felt unsafe. Again if it is a fancy resort you are looking for this is not the place. If you are looking for a local down to earth nice visit I would recommend Tres Palmas.

It had a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were very helpful and the location was ideal as it was easy to get onto the main highway. There were also a variety of different places to grab a meal close by. The facilities were perfectly adequate.

The continental breakfast could be improved upon -a bit more variety (tea would be nice).

I love the comfort it brought and the set up of the hotel.

My room didn't have a balcony, I expected it from the pictures.
