The comfort of the bed.
Few staff at counter in a long line of guest for checking in and out!
Friendly employees. Easy check in. Walking distance to casinos, restaurants, pubs, beach...
Rooms need renovations. Building side that faces de beach needs immediate painting.
no continental breakfast included. Made mistake with double bed room . gave one bed had 2 kids. pool to steep for young children.
The lobby looked very chic.
The rooms need to be updated. The linen and towels were dingy and old. Needs a total makeover.
Everything is outdated
The view & location was excellent!
Nothing. I had a great experience!
The location - excellent!
poor breakfeast; old bathroom
The seaviews (except for the murky windows that couldn't be opened) The relatively cheap parking within walking distance
The rude attitude from staff; their unhelpfulness The price The lack of wifi in rooms (although advertised as having wifi) The out-dated feel The fact that air conditioning was left on by the cleaners wasting energy, causing climate change and making the room cold!
TODO ESTUVO ESPECTACULAR.
No parking just vallet
Rugs look ñike they need a change
The valet staff, and desk staff (7am-11pm shift), was very helpful. The lobby and first floor in general look very polished and nice. Water was hot, a/c was ice cold, and the view was okay.
The audit staff failed to give us our wakeup call and we almost missed our flight. When we asked, he said, "Oh, I was smoking a cigarette." No apology. The nice 1st floor is NOT matched in the rooms or upper floors. The carpeting was torn up, and dirty in several areas with white plaster and other unidentifiable things on it. The towels had tears and stains in them. The windows were rusted and peeling. The view was okay. We reserved a King sized bed, we got two doubles - we pre-checked before noon, and arrived again after 9pm. This should have been plenty of time to fulfill our request. The furniture looked very worn and stained from cups and coolers. The chairs looked dingy. The doors bathroom, and closet, didn’t close properly.
The hotel was just "away" from the busy part of the city. Close enough to walk into town. Free internet.
Musty smell in the hallways. No parking space unless you paid to park across the street. No wash clothes? Not much for TV programs. Didn't understand about restaurant. Something about being charged $35.00 a day. So we stayed away from that and the phone.
front desk staff, one was rude and on another occasion same person was non-attentive....
Good value. Pool and deck were great.
Hotel looked tired...the host were good but the cleaners really didn't understand customer service.
Because the hotel is on the beach, they should install a different ventilation system. Our oceanfront room was nice but the carpet throughout the room and the bed seemed damp all the time. The room is very basic (no wall art, or extra seating). I told front desk that my room phone didn't work on the first day at the hotel, and it still wasn't fixed by the time I left 4days later. If I needed anything my husband took the trip 7floors down to ask. The hotel towels looked like they haven't been changed in years, the what was suppose to be white towels where sometimes gray.
The hotel looks abandoned...
the front desk girl Jessica make my vacations horrible
Cold water in shower never hot
The restaurant was fantastic! The decor of the main lobby is chic.
The overall smell of must, especially in the hallway leading to our room. The rooms and hall ways are in need of a renovation, perhaps new flooring (remove old carpets and replace with "wood look" ceramic tile) and replace water damaged furnishings in rooms.
Location is good. Nice restaurant on premises with ocean view.
Rooms don't look at all like on pictures -- the pictures posted are made up nicely, but the actual room looks like a motel room, not a hotel. I have the ocean view side, but windows were dirty and foggy (I checked another similar room -- the same). Towels were all in chlorine, thus smelled bad. And I paid around $120 (discounted) total price -- for that money I could get a better deal (and for 2 days).
Staff was helpful and the location was great.
Everything in the room was damp and if you had a wet towel or a bathing suit it stayed that way.The armchair was shiny from being dirty.
The staff was very helpful and the lobby was gorgeous. (Turns out the lobby was more like a mirage since the rest of the place was so out of alignment with it.)
Stained carpets, no mattress pads under sheets, lamp shades literally falling apart, yard sale furniture, extremely damp (clothes were actually somewhat wet the next morning) ~ we checked out after one night, we were so miserable and disgusted with the surroundings. I should have heeded the numerous other negative reviews.
I liked the location and the view we had and the room was spacious enough.
Starting with the front desk. They were friendly and helpful but There was always only one person at the front desk at a time, and each time I had questions about a tour or wanted a taxi I would be waiting for like 20 minutes standing behind people that were checking in. Housekeeping came and took my dirty towels but didnt leave any clean ones. I had paid a total of $189 for 2 nights which was a decent deal but then I decided to stay an extra day and they told me it would be $132 for that one night. I was not feeling that ridiculous price jump So I went somewhere else for my last day in san juan.
