I liked that it was literally steps away from the beach
The room was so standard The service was slow although they were friendly It was really small Unorganized No breakfast at 9am Drinks were as expensive as New York and tasted way worse Just was not worth it aside from the fact that it was close to the beach Booking.com does not have acurate information for this place There is no pool and not much to do My suggestion save your money and go somewhere nicer
Amazing location right on the beach, a beautiful beach. There are many restaurants near.
The place is run down, still ok to stay but a little fixing could make a big difference.
Great location. Great rum punch at the bar.
Rooms/bathroom are tiny. My room had only a full sized bed and a side table with a very odd 8" x 3.5" mirror along one wall. The windows had storm shutters that were corroded closed so you couldn't open them. Bill included $30 taxes and "fees" When asked about the fees, I was told that was the "resort fee". Not sure what that includes as you have to pay extra for a beach chair or beach umbrella...there are no "amenities" that you get at a real resort.
I like the location and the concept of the facility. It was very pretty.
The bed was not comfortable and the air conditioner was making a noise that almost does not let me sleep.
beach front and bar/lounge was nice!!
Room small and bathroom was horrible. Doors were not secure!!!!
We enjoyed the location of this hotel. The staff was very friendly and courteous!
The room was very humid...clothes and towels could not dry because of the humidity in the room. The drinks and food were too expensive for this type of hotel. Need an upgrade on the patio and beach furniture (cushions!)
the location was good. It wasn't a far drive from Old San Juan or other locations we ventured to. The front desk staff was super nice. The bar staff was average.
the actual online photo's made the place look hip and new. the actual beach furniture was old and torn. the cabana beds needed to have the sheets changed on a regular basis.
I love the restaurant, great A+ chief, love that its right on the beach, good drinks, nice staff, doesn't feel like a hotel more like its name "a Beach House" and for the price you cant beat it.
no wifi in the rooms and they really need to upgrade the TV's in the rooms, I believe that will make this place perfect.
Room bath room electrical outlets broken no windows dirty no compensation or up grades filthy
Rear Beach/lounge restaurant area. Direct restaurant staff. Front desk receptionists were very friendly.
Rooms/hotel management. Insufficient water pressure on top of only cold water. Water was turned off while showering without mngmnt notifying guests.Bathrooms do not have exhaust fans, windows need to be replaced. Wall paint was dirty and stained near toilet seat. Old style tv in room. No plates or garbage can available during free breakfast. These issues are simple fixes with proper managing. Front desk staff themselves are very polite yet powerless against a bad system. Noisy @ night but wasn't bothered being that I'm a NYer.
The arrangement facing the beach was romantic and was really nice. The personnel was inviting.
The room was extra small and the pictures, in a way, let you think all the rooms were like the suite. The sofa was wore out and the leather was broken everywhere.
beach was great
Rooms were awful, no clock or blow dryer, ac was a wall unit and very loud, no working at hotel at night, the beach chair person always left early, no windows in the rooms
No clothier in the rooms
nothing. hotel was noisy, uncleaned, unsafe door, no window, no hot water, no towels.
I did like that when I went to beach and asked for a chair the guy carried our chair to where we wanted it.
I paid $15 a day to park there, yet every night I came back the parking lot was full, there would be a party every night at the hotel. the guy in charge of the parking lot will park my car and then drop my key in the room later at night, which will be incomadate me because I have to wake up from my sleep, or worry about who's knocking my door. the food was expensive I would not eat there. the beach was a little dirty with straws all over the sand. I also asked for two bed and they only gave me one. I had to go get new towels myself once all the way to the front desk bc no one came to change mines. even after I put the sign for someone to come and change my towels.
Beach access service was the best part, beach area was clean, room was clean, staff was very polite, great location, breakfast was ok. I would go back if the room rates where half the price and the bug problem was corrected.
Bed bugs and property is run down not as nice on the photos as the reality in person.
The staff, were very friendly (; the beach bed was comfortable within walking distance to shops, and food
small TV dated sofa
Beach front. Great location connected to public transportation and various restaurants
Too much noise at night. Charge for parking
The beach, lounge chairs
Uncleanliness, breakfast, entrance dangerous, old plumbing, loud party on beach, General lack of concern for guests, pictures on web site are not accurate,
Air conditioner continously goes out. What's advertised isn't honored. ALL documents, books and advertising at the desk need to be updated to match the documents you're made to sign.
The outside beach area beautiful.
Too much noise. The staff drinking, smoking, and partying after hours. Wheeling the trash can down the wooden sidewalk at 2 am. Got no sleep what so ever.
The location is magical: on the beach, close to amenities and restaurants, with a great beach bar and restaurant in-house. The WiFi was reliable and the staff friendly, for the most part.
Pretty much everything else! The breakfast was awful (bagels, toast, yogurt, cold meat, cheese and two types of fruit). There was never enough coffee or mugs, and it was all self-serviced on dirty plates. The "breakfast room" had only one table and one chair, so you'd have to find a spot to sit outside somewhere to have breakfast. Facilities are in a state of some disrepair. My shower curtain rail fell off the wall on a few occasions, and the wash basin wasn't attached to the wall anymore (balancing only on the pedestal). The wooden deck outside is breaking up in places. The aircon sounded like a jet engine, and other guests complained of mildew on their walls and leaking ceilings. Basic hotel service is quite iffy. Room service is only available on request, but I had to wait until 5pm (having requested it at 8am) for service. The front desk is only manned about 50% of the time. What really irked me, though, was that it seemed like preference was given (both in basic service and management decisions) to locals visiting the beach and beach bar. It was really as if the hotel residents were considered a nuisance at times, keeping them from serving their "real" customers. The Beach House Hotel is a rough-around-the-edges experience, which is quite the opposite of what they advertised. It's too expensive for a budget hotel, and not nearly good enough to be a beach resort. I would not stay there again.
The beach was excellent
OMG! that was a camp?never a stay in a hotel!!!! on our last morning we decided to leave the hotel at 6am. Breakfast with the birds above. obsolete televisions with cable. the morning sun on your face because the curtains are bathroom curtain. is better to swim on the beach inside the room (the bathroom is disgusting) Danny & Mayra
the beach its beutiful ,the staff super friendly and the idea of the hotel pretty nice the location niice.
need urgent maintaince clean and change furniture, change menu .
The location of the hotel is great. The use of the umbrellas and chairs is also great. Their outdoor furniture is modern and comfortable . Their toiletries are awesome!! The acai bowls ( at the bar) are yummy!! In te weekends they have a fun DJ and dancing.
Our room was very dark and dingy. There was mold in the ceiling from the AC which gave me am awful sinus problem. They charge you and extra $15 a day to park in their lot. The food from the restaurant is awful and expensive. There was a dead fly in my octopus salad....ewwwww.
