Beach front. Great location connected to public transportation and various restaurants
Too much noise at night. Charge for parking
The beach, lounge chairs
Uncleanliness, breakfast, entrance dangerous, old plumbing, loud party on beach, General lack of concern for guests, pictures on web site are not accurate,
Air conditioner continously goes out. What's advertised isn't honored. ALL documents, books and advertising at the desk need to be updated to match the documents you're made to sign.
The outside beach area beautiful.
Too much noise. The staff drinking, smoking, and partying after hours. Wheeling the trash can down the wooden sidewalk at 2 am. Got no sleep what so ever.
The location is magical: on the beach, close to amenities and restaurants, with a great beach bar and restaurant in-house. The WiFi was reliable and the staff friendly, for the most part.
Pretty much everything else! The breakfast was awful (bagels, toast, yogurt, cold meat, cheese and two types of fruit). There was never enough coffee or mugs, and it was all self-serviced on dirty plates. The "breakfast room" had only one table and one chair, so you'd have to find a spot to sit outside somewhere to have breakfast. Facilities are in a state of some disrepair. My shower curtain rail fell off the wall on a few occasions, and the wash basin wasn't attached to the wall anymore (balancing only on the pedestal). The wooden deck outside is breaking up in places. The aircon sounded like a jet engine, and other guests complained of mildew on their walls and leaking ceilings. Basic hotel service is quite iffy. Room service is only available on request, but I had to wait until 5pm (having requested it at 8am) for service. The front desk is only manned about 50% of the time. What really irked me, though, was that it seemed like preference was given (both in basic service and management decisions) to locals visiting the beach and beach bar. It was really as if the hotel residents were considered a nuisance at times, keeping them from serving their "real" customers. The Beach House Hotel is a rough-around-the-edges experience, which is quite the opposite of what they advertised. It's too expensive for a budget hotel, and not nearly good enough to be a beach resort. I would not stay there again.
The beach was excellent
OMG! that was a camp?never a stay in a hotel!!!! on our last morning we decided to leave the hotel at 6am. Breakfast with the birds above. obsolete televisions with cable. the morning sun on your face because the curtains are bathroom curtain. is better to swim on the beach inside the room (the bathroom is disgusting) Danny & Mayra
the beach its beutiful ,the staff super friendly and the idea of the hotel pretty nice the location niice.
need urgent maintaince clean and change furniture, change menu .
The location of the hotel is great. The use of the umbrellas and chairs is also great. Their outdoor furniture is modern and comfortable . Their toiletries are awesome!! The acai bowls ( at the bar) are yummy!! In te weekends they have a fun DJ and dancing.
Our room was very dark and dingy. There was mold in the ceiling from the AC which gave me am awful sinus problem. They charge you and extra $15 a day to park in their lot. The food from the restaurant is awful and expensive. There was a dead fly in my octopus salad....ewwwww.
The beach was the only thing I liked
They were filming a movie n we didn't have access to beach or parking for one day. We had to work hard at getting reimbursed for the one night. They need to update facilities and furniture. Bed was very uncomfortable. They also don't have housekeeping services daily I guess they only clean when you leave.
thhe fact that it had a bar and resteraunt. It was right by the beach
No hot water, had to ask for clean towels, and for the room to be cleaned. My key was stolen so they charged me for it.
Access to the beach was great.
Bartenders and waiters very poor service.... got ignored too many times. And the price of drinks was outrageous.
The location is beautiful and it's close to a ton of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Private beach access!! The hotel is adorable and the staff are always friendly.
No wi-fi to speak of. Our DVD player stopped working one night, not a big deal but annoying. There's a definite communication gap - when you ask for something, you're never 100% sure if you'll actually get the thing you're asking for, or if you will get something totally different. Serving staff at the bar/restaurant are incredibly slow (1/2 hour to get a drink).
All the bad things about this place are true. Avoid it.
The fact it was no washcloths available at this location. The employees thought it was more important to smoke cigarettes and talk among themselves then to help me check out overall I didn't not get what I paid for this location the rooms was extremely small and worth far less than I paid for
Where this horrible hotel is located. The beach and water is amazing. That's ALL
Horrible experience. Moldy walls. Dirty floor, hair on the sheets, no towels, extremely poor management. Do not stay here!!!
I LOVE the easy access to the Ocean. Not a lot of guests so its not crowded on the beach. Weekends seem to be though. The staff are welcoming and pleasant...
The rooms are "extremely" basic. Not much room to hang things. So we lived out of the suitcases. The shower (and I experienced this place twice in 3 years) is nearly useless. The Ocean is so lovely to bath in first thing in the am, so i dealt with a little rinse the shower provided. The TV worked one day while we were there for 5.
The only thing I liked is that the hotel is right on the beach. Nothing else.
It was dirty , the pictures online look a lot better than in person. The food is terrible. And the restaurant is much too expensive. When I arrived my sheets were dirty and we had to sleep on them for one night. Breakfast is terrible
Centrally located for all ur needs.
Booked for 119 online when i got there they charged over 150 a night plus 15 a day to park rental ... 9 efore u can get coffee or breakfast that they promise staff not that friendly
The staff of the hotel was nice and helpful. The location is great to go anywhere. Good bar, good piña coladas.
The room was not clean at all. Bed sheet and towels not fresh.
Great location right on the beach. Beach beds & service from the bar / restaurant onto the beach was great. Didn't have to leave if you didn't want to. Only a very small hotel which was nice, compared to some of the sprawling big resorts nearby.
Rooms were older, less clean and not as well fit out as in the photos on the website. Bathrooms were fine, but older style and very basic. Breakfast was pretty average. It is a great location & has so much potential, but if you are looking for luxury this is not it.
