We will be back. Our bed was really soft compared to what we are use too and there was virtually no internet but our cell service worked well. The food was good and the service was outstanding.
We had to leave
Located on Corcega beach, which is calm and swimmable - a plus on the surfing west coast area. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel has a pool and bar/restaurant.
The beach is narrow and sloped. There were a lot of teenagers who would come to the bar at night to drink. The music played at the bar was pop (not a very island, relaxed vibe). The bar smelled of garbage in a 5 foot radius around it.
Wonderful staff and location. place was clean and comfortable.
Wifi was not always reliable and food was just ok.
This is a wonderful, laid back resort right on a beautiful stretch of beach. The staff members are friendly and helpful. This is not a cookie cutter hotel. It is a lovely, beachy" place with a very relaxed atmosphere.
Be advised that the ocean waves are very rough with strong undertows, even though this is considered one of the more swimmable sections of Rincon.
Liked being so close to the beach. Good value for the room. Hotel staff very nice.
Bar can be fairly loud, so worth asking for a quieter room when you check in. Kept driving to the same spot near Steps, Maria, and Sandy Beaches, so next visit would probably stay closer. I did not eat the free breakfast any day bc it did not look good.
Location is right on the beach. Nice, open atmosphere. Overall, I would recommend.
Wifi didn't reach my room. Bathroom lights didn't always turn on. Hotel bar turns into a nightclub at night.
Beach, bar, staff, price, town, restaurants nearby, friendliness of local populace, nearby attractions, location right on beach, informality, expansive layout of the facility
Give me a month or two, and I'll to come up with something.
Staff was very helpful even bringing a wheelchair.
Room was across bar and music was loud and didn't allow a restful night. We arrived from the hospital late and No food service except fried appetizers.
It got its own beach where you can watch great sunsets.
Staff was very unfriendly. There was a problem with the bath tub, and they weren't able to fix it during our stay (5 days!!). They didn't excuse for any inconvenience, which was caused by this problem and didn't offer any alternatives. Furthermore, we were treated quite rudely compared to other guests. They were kind of acting like racists, as Spanish speaking guests were treated very friendly. We hadn't experienced this anywhere else on our round trip in PR, so, feeling not welcome was a very surprising, sad, and inconvenient situation! Also, in the evenings you had to pay for the music at the bar - there was a juke box and when no one wanted to put some coins in, it was an awkward bar atmosphere.
Staff and location were great!!
Chairs on beach could use upgrading !!
Bar overlooks beach with stairs down to shoreline. Pool tables. Super helpful staff. Felt like a resort.
Outdated feel. Noisy at night if you want an early sleep. Hot water didn't work.
Rooms are the top of the lobby are noisy
Steps from the beach, perfect view of the sunset from both the room and the beach bar.
Pirata coconut drink
This is an older property, that is directly on the beach. It is a great location and is comfortable, while pretty basic. It is a good value for the money; during 'shoulder season'. The bar is a great place to watch the sunset, as well as to meet people. The staff is great; immediate response to a request for help with a balky safe. Near grocery stores and other conveniences. Numerous renovations are underway, including a new elevator. Liked this place a lot!
The beach is very narrow, which can't be helped or changed.
Sunsets, the bar, the restaurant, the large and spacious room, swimming in the warm calm water outside the hotel.
Room window fittings broken, ceiling tiles sagging.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
The restaurant food was just ok but overpriced for the quality of food offered.
Besides the location and the beach the relaxing atmosphere
The staff was friendly check in was quick everyhting explained up front. We were escorted to our room they made sure it was clean and that ac worked asked if we ok with the room. The sunset best on the planet ,) We had fun in the evening with the DJ and karaoke. Our teens kept busy in the game room and ping pong table.
The hotel is going on its 50th year and it shows , ( they need to reinvest in the place. Its a gem that needs some polishing for sure. I have been visiting for the last 30 something years will continue its location and sunsets make up for the ugly rugs ,) The continental breakfast was ok but could have at least offered oatmeal instead Of offering it at $3.50 all in all for the price we got the room it was a good time.
The food ,breakfast ?
Great location, great downstairs Bar..
Not real clean in bathrooms. dirty Caulk, bathrooms and Rooms need updating
Pool, beach and service
Some noise while doing improvements on facilities
Staff was really kind and like a big family. Its make you feel comfortable
