This adult-only resort is on the island of Vieques, just off the coast of Puerto Rico. The historic building features an on-site bar and restaurant and outdoor swimming pool.

Score from 2 reviews Wonderful
The staff was really lovely. For the most part, the resort was wonderfully maintained. It never felt like you were at an overcrowded resort, even though the hotel was at 90% occupancy while we were there. A wonderful stay!
There's nothing nearby so you either need to rent a car, take taxis or stay at the resort. There's only one restaurant so that can get a little boring. The room service was also ridiculously expensive with an additional $3 service fee & 22% surcharge! As a family of vegetarians, the menu was also very limited with literally no vegetarian offerings at the pool bar. The room was also a little dark. I know it's suppose to set the mood, but it was a little frustrating that there was no way to brighten up the room.
Pool design is excellent. Beach is good.
Room smelled like urine. Pillows smelled musty and room floor was always Sandy.
I liked the gym facilities, the views, the hotel beach, the room, breakfast.
I payed for a room with sea view but it was obstructed with palms.
The pool .the sitting by the bonfire. The beach.
Ocean views Overall decor
Food price Slow food service at pool There are other options with better price and offer very similar attractions.
The staff were exceptional. Robert at the poolside bar, Edgardo the clerk that checked us in and answered our questions and Jennifer all were outstanding and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Jennifer asked us several questions about our stay and asked us if we had any constructive criticism. We didn't. Everything was perfect. I also have to compliment the food service at this establishment. Lobster Frittata and Mimosas for breakfast. One of the best mofongos I have ever had. Outstanding! Thanks everyone.
I didn't like the fact that we only booked a one night stay. We will be back.
The beach, the round pool, the coffee at the W cafe!
Would have liked solid curtains between bathroom and beds!
The frendliness os the hotel staff since we arrived to airport they make us feels great.
I called to fixed the fridge but any one came to fixed the second day of our stay.
W staff was wonderful. Hotel beach was not busy at all.... Very calm and quiet all around.
Puerto Rico has a lot if surprise fees on your final bill. Tourism fee, resort fees, taxes. Bill was much higher than we were expecting.
the yoga instructor and class was outstanding the car rental place in the dive shop was a great value and driving around the island is a must do
too far from town the staff at the pool was too pushy with trying to get drink orders etc you had to carefully review the bill or extra charges not incurred were slipped in
Peaceful, beautiful scenery, beachfront, rustic but classy
No place to eat after 11pm (very simple menu for room service-cold menu) . No place for breakfast before 6am... So late or early travelers need to cover that issue.
Beautiful resort. Truly relaxing vacation spot.
It is an International brand hotel, which offers a luxury and comfortable experience. The staff is kind and willing to help at any time. It has private beaches where you are provided all the equipments you need to do snorkeling, kayak and so on. The lobby is half indoor and half outdoor facing the ocean. When the night comes, you can sit on the sofa around the campfire listening to the sound of the ocean, maybe you also order a cocktail from the bar, which will make the dream place come true.
The price is a little bit high....
We stayed at the W on the Memorial weekend. I loved the vibe of the front desk staff, the pick up at the airport and most of all the Wet Deck and their amazing service. Alvaro, Minny and the rest of the people working on the pool made you feel really glad to be there. Good job! Besides the pool, the top-less beach is pretty cool (not the best in the island, the best beaches are in the South), the food of the Wet deck and bar is good -not amazing - though i didn't try the restaurant, which is a higher-end cuisine and looks like a great option for a romantic dinner.
The two girls serving the bar area... both felt very frustrated to be working there. I wished they had more nightlife at the hotel... afterall, it is a W, not sure why is so quiet at night, probably they also want to attract the mature crowd. If you are on a budget, this is not your hotel! It can get very pricey once you start with the Piña Coladas ;-)
Pool area. The barbeque.
Waiting for shuttles. Too many young children at a romantic spot.
The sound near the sea was really romantic. And the living room/lobby was fantastic and quite at night. I was doing my portfolio and playing music on the concrete sofa and listening to the sound near the sea. It was even amazing than my dream.
The telephone wasn't work in our room, and we didn't figure out how to use those lamps Till we left.
they even have wifi in their private beach!!!!
The location and ambiance was excellent. The area was spotless clean. The welcome area at the airport was very convenient.
Cable TV did not work all night. There was not a room service menu in the room.
The staff was friendly, personable, and helpful from the minute we walked in the door. The restaurant was excellent, the dive shop went out of their way to help us book a bio bay tour, and I thought the spa was exceptional. The grounds are lovely, the rooms beautiful and comfortable.
I wish the rate was just a little bit lower - I'd come back again sooner. :)
location and hotel decor
service was very, very poor. staff seemed to be immature/unaware/ not properly trained to attend to basic needs. some of them were very nice; however, waiters/waitresses around the restaurant, bar, room cleaning & pool didn't really meet my expectations. It was disappointing to experience this in PR. I was raised in the main island and I was very excited to go back home and go to such a beautiful place. When I was a kid I used to go camping with my parents in Vieques. I thought that it was such a nice treat to stay in W! however, it wasnt what i expected. Not too bad compared to surrounding "hotels", but definitely not comparable to other W hotels in the US. Spa was Ok. again, not what you'd expect for the price. I have to admit that I was sad & disappointed as I really wanted to like it & come back. Have to say that probably I wont. You can tell that they have a hard time hiring/ finding people as most of them were locals; but, they professionalism was far from ideal. They didn't seem to have the proper training (or desire) to do their job right. Hope Management finds a way to change this as its truly a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location
