Score from 75 reviews Good
This scenic resort in Puerto Rico is near El Yunque Rain Forest. On a 300-foot cliff overlooking the ocean, it features a spa, a casino and tennis courts.
Score from 127 reviews Very good
Located 15 minutes’ drive from Rio Grande, Hillside Village Apartment offers an outdoor pool and a tennis court. It features free WiFi and a garden.
Score from 8 reviews Wonderful
It felt effortless and simple.
The food options were limited.
Tennis and Golf facilities are top of the line. Beautifully manicured course and lawns. Very handy location to El Yunque for a day trip. Nicely decorated for Christmas considering such a large resort.
Very noisy housekeeping staff. The beach needs to be cleaned. A lot of rubbish around.
Great location and excellent hotel. Clean hotel, friendly staff, beautiful beach. Will recommend to anyone.
Some of the restaurants inside the hotel are quite pricey. There is a daily parking charge of $15. This should be waived for people staying in the hotel.
Friendly staff, fantastic weather, beautiful resort
Accomadations with a crib and fridge.
Slow service, limited non-restaurant snack and food options. TVs went down, children's club under construction, restaurant options were limited. Only one bar area
Very friendly staff, from the bell desk, valet, check-in, to concierge and bartenders. Clean modern rooms, spacious, and even room cleaners paid attention to detail and personalized the experience. Very nice beach, and pool area. Location is close to rainforest, bio bay, and other attractions. Restaurants are very good especially the Palio, a AAA 4 diamond rated Italian restaurant.
Restaurant food may seem pricey but it is to be expected for a 4.5 star resort.
Staff and hotel very nice
The parking when it rain gets flooded and can walk needs improvement
Live music at night(casino plus lobby bar).
I think i didnt like the food(Palio) but they have a lot of restaurant. Also the self parkinkg was full and small. We had to wait for someone to leave the hotel to take their parking lot.
Loved the beach and the ocean view suite. The casino was also a nice little highlight. Also appreciated the daily happy hour specials.
Don't like paying for parking AT ALL. Don't like paying a resort fee, just build it into the room price. Don't like that the beach closed so early.
Good facilities, nice beach.
Long line and slow processing at front desk. Way too expensive. Charged us a resort fee on top of the quoted price for our sub-par, dirty room. Had to complain at the front desk to get moved to a new room, as our's was dirty and next to a family with a crying baby, and room had adjoining door. So limited privacy and very noisy. Very expensive for food and drinks. Only some of the restaraunts were open. Terrible
The location, pool and beach. Special thanks go out to Edwin at the front desk for going out of his way to make us feel at home.
There was some Construction going on during our stay and it was very noisy in the am.
Great Hotel. We only stay for one night but we want to go again for vacations.
I arrived at the hotel for a Herbalife convention and arrived at 6am knowing check in was at 3pm i went to the front desk to pre-register and my room was ready!!!! Now thats a "WOW" effect!!!! Thank you!!!!
I asked the bellman to have luggage stored in my car wich was in Valet. He indicated i had to go down and make arrangements with the valet for that. A bit of a hastle, but not that bad. Just an advice. Consolidate comunications betweens rooms division.
Beach Turtle nursing program
hotel needs a renewal 15 dollar parking fee per day
Not clean... Not worth for the money
Pool and beach and the view.
The bathroom needs help,
location, beach, staff,rooms
no night life, casino needs to be updated.
The Grounds Are Beautiful, Indoors & Out. Service Was Exellent. Enjoyed The Casino, Their Was No language Barrier Between Spanish Or English. I Suggest To Have Valet Parking As To Self Parking. Enjoyed Sight Seeing, Our Cell Phone gps Worked Exellent We Couldn't Get Lost If We Tried. El Yunque,Aka Rainforest Is a Must See. Old San Juan Is About 45 Min. Away, The Beach Is Right Out The Front Doors, Resturants Were Very Good & The Atomopher Was Casual Or Extravagant As You Want It To Be! Easy To Say You Will Enjoy Your Stay! We Will Not Think Twice To Make It Back.
Beautiful views, great facilities, nice pool, clean beach, great tiki bar, convenient casino and bars, friendly and helpful staff, housekeeping was very efficient and clean
Wifi was spotty, cable TV was fuzzy, food was unimpressive, room service orders were incorrect, restaurant recommendations from concierge were closed, steakhouse on resort was closed all week
Everything. The prize is absolutely disproportioned for the quality of the hotel. Rats run in the garden. The beach is too dangerous to swim. The food and restaurants are overpriced, and there is no place near to avoid them. The rooms had mold and fungus in the bathroom. The beds had bedbugs. When our keys to the door of our room ceased to function we had to wait 45 min for someone to fix it (in the hallway). In summary, the worst hotel I have been in my life and at the same time one if the most expensive. Awful!!!
Glad they are doing renovations.
The Wyndham needs to do significant staff training so that service, food & drink are consistent. Your experience (including amounts/ingredients served in food and drink) will vary greatly based on person preparing."Inconsistent" is the real rating I would give this resort. They are not worthy of daily resort fee.
Fun, good actvities, nice pools, good rstaurant choice
A bit far from the main road.
Nice facilities, great staff, great location, awesome breakfast buffet
