The rooms were nice and fairly clean. Luxurious for the price.

The staff was completely unaware of the content of my reservation. I had to re-negotiate the fact that I had reserved 2 rooms with 1 extra bed for each room, enabling accomodation for 6. Unless they are better informed about reservation, I would not want to book this hotel again. Also, a bit far from Al Manara. Takes about 40 min to walk. Wasn't a concern of mine, but might be for some.

We liked the description on Unfortunately it bears no resemblance to the actual hotel.

How much time have you got? We felt as though we were getting in their way as we booked in. Despite advertising A/C we were bluntly told that we were the first people to request it and that it wasn't needed ie they didn't want to turn it on! They showed us another room that apparently did have A/C but it genuinely looked as if the room had been left untouched for several years. After enquiring whether lunch was available (as advertised in reception) it soon became apparent that it was not going to be an option. Instead we went to look at the swimming pool but in our reluctance to contract dysentery we thought twice about it and decided against going for a dip. Instead we decided to head into town, just a 15 minute walk away. Not even Mo Farah on steroids could get into the town centre in 15 minutes - it's a good 10 min taxi ride costing 15 shekel! The room itself was basic though we didn't like to ask when the blanket was last cleaned. The satellite tv seemed to have a good selection of channels, if Arabic pornography is your cup of tea. The sound of the creaking bathroom was drowned out by the late night disco which took place below our room. We were asked to use the back stairs so as to avoid it! This epitomised the complete lack of customer service we experienced throughout our stay. Even ordering a taxi for us seemed to be a hardship. In short, we would not recommend this place to anyone!

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The courtyard at the front is very peaceful and relaxing to sit and read.Internet connection was strong. Great breakfast - especially the Labneh and za'atar!

Its a bit out of the way from hustle and bustle of ramallah but its a easy walk and taxis are cheap and plentiful and the staff at the hotel can you a taxi at any time.
